Just like any living thing your trees need to be cared for to ensure a long, healthy life. Our experienced personnel will determine the type of pruning and fertilizer needed to maintain one of your homes most important asset. Pruning is the most common tree service we provide. While forest trees grow well with only natures pruning, landscape trees need a higher level of care to maintain their safety and aesthetics.
Pruning should only be performed by someone with the understanding of how the tree will respond to each cut. Improper pruning can cause life long damage or shorten the trees life all together.

Tree Removal
Report
We at Joshua Tree Experts always consider tree removal a last resort but there are times when it is unavoidable. One of our Certified Arborist will help you decide whether or not a tree should be removed. If so, our highly trained employees have everything they need to do the job safely and efficiently. We may recommend removal if a tree is dead, dying, or considered hazardous.

Had them cut a spruce and trim some other trees. They said some other trees were dying and recommended cutting them down too. They are still blooming and doing fine. The trees that they did trim one has died the next season. I am thinking tools werent cleaned and they gave that tree a disease and killed it. Edit: in response to tree service response: Their documentation isn't even right.
One tree was cut down, not two. The cherry trees were not trimmed, those were the ones they wanted to cut down. We told them to leave them alone. The two trees along the roadway were trimmed. Why would I call them back out for a tree that died after they touched it?

My contact didn't listen to me. Just about everything I wanted done was changed to accommodate what the company normally did to other homes; I got, that's not how we normally do it, and we usually cut back limbs this or that amount. Not knowing the names of the trees I pointed a lot and repeated what I wanted done. The contract seemed to reflect that, but it did not.
Some of the main things I wanted done were not cut back back as much as I stated, or not cut at all. I ignored the warning signs telling me to decline the offer and find someone else. Contact offered to finish the job I wanted so that I would be happy, but by then, I wanted nothing to do with this company. Crew came out and as I was leaving, I restated what I wanted done.
No problem, they said, without communicating that what I pointed out was not on their work order, so it would not be done. Long story short, this was an expensive lesson to learn, but one I will remember. If you are hiring a company to do a job, and everything you want done is changed or altered during the estimate, walk away. Ask do you want this job?
Can you do this job? Will tree height or space be an issue? I'm open to suggestions from the professionals, but having trees cut/trimmed around your home is more than keeping to a company standard. Looking at the other reviews, this company probably does a good job normally, and I picked them because of the reviews on google and BBB. Unfortunately for me, this was not the case.
The job I wanted factored in below what the company wanted. So make sure the job YOU want is the job you're getting the estimate for. If you get feelings that that's not the case, move on. Maybe next time (with another company), I'll photoshop before and after pictures just to be sure.

This company dropped a huge, and I mean HUGE, tree in my elderly parents back yard. They were very worried about the neighbors new fence and a large shed on our propery. No problem for Joshua and his crew. Safe, efficient and affordable; what more could you ask for?!?! Thank you for a job well done and letting my parents feel comfortable!
