Scout Cleaning

The appt was easy to set up and the gal that showed up was very nice and worked hard. She did not have a punch list of what was to be included in a deep clean which led to some things being missed. That is where the -1 star came from. The business owner responded quickly to my report of concern regarding items not being cleaned and adjusted the cost appropriately. Overall a good experience. Advice, if you have expectations let the cleaner know when they arrive. :

New ownership is definitely not as strong as the previous owners. First, our long time cleaner was no longer available, which was followed by inconsistent arrival times and changing cleaning crews. Cleaning was generally good, although they would regularly leave stuff behind, so greater attention to detail would have been worthwhile. Some of the cleaning products they left behind did not seem particularly eco-friendly either.

Scout Cleaning has truly changed the quality of our lives for the better. I honestly don't know how we did it all before them! Scout only employs true professionals who are efficient and thorough-not to mention punctual and friendly. I know our cleaning team leader very well, as he has been with us since we first hired Scout.

Out of the Blue Screen Printing has had excellent results with Scout Cleaning. Our Scout representative comes once a week, and is always on time and does a thorough cleaning job. I've had to reschedule a few times because no one was at the office to let him in. Scout Cleaning did not have a problem with this. They are always very responsive to our needs.

Anna did the most amazing job that I have ever seen in all of the house cleaners I have had in the many years that I have been in real estate. A job that was done with great pride. Thank you!

Long time customer of Scout. The cleanings started out very high-quality. But over time they degraded, the crew seem to change, and eventually they started repeatedly requesting different arrival times. Finally, when I needed to put my service on hold for financial reasons, they seemed incapable, from a process perspective, to handle that. I canceled service, and then a month later I received a surprise, unrequested visit from their crew.

Then I received subsequent multiple bills for that same unrequested service. Finally, to my surprise, I got an email including a whole condescending thread from their company about how I was the one with a bad attitude (I doubt they included that info intentionally).

Scout does such a great job that my house is always sparkling. They pay great attention to detail. I was hesitant to hire a cleaning agency, but am delighted that I chose Scout. Keep up the good work!

The first clean was okay. The second clean they were an hour late, and a worse clean. The third clean, I called to confirm the morning of they would be there on time only to find out that they needed to "reschedule because one of the cleaners had a doctor's appointment." They were due at my house in 1.5 hours. They ended up getting people there, over an hour late, only to have one of the cleaners put scratches in my $8,000 Arhuas couch by the tool used to vacuum my couch.

I left an email for Nick, no response. I left a text for the Office person, Caitlin. She said, "I no longer in office, will let NIck know." Nick finally returned our emails after weeks and said, "there was an independent contractor that day in your house that do not work for us, so it is not our issue". WHAT?! At NO time was I ever told there would be an "independent contractor" in my house.

Of course, no one ever contacted me, and Nick and Scout Cleaning absolved themselves of responsibility. Appalling lack of professionalism and accountability. NO NOT use Scout Cleaning!

I always am so happy when the crew from Scout comes to my house. They do great work, pay attention to detail and my favorite part is that you are invoiced after the cleaning so you get to see the work before you pay!

Scout cleaning does a consistent and reliable job. It is difficult to get any company to keep up with the details. Particularly when time is money the little stuff, dusting and putting things back after cleaning tend to slip. However, the ability to spend more time with family outweighs these gripes and customer service and responsiveness is great with scout.

I had a very negative experience with this cleaning service. The first cleaning was okay, though she broke our toaster (Probably an accident). I was willing to overlook that and the fact that she left dirty dishes. But, after the first cleaning, no one ever contacted me to schedule the next month. Instead they just showed up randomly. We rescheduled because it was not a good time for us. However, they didn't show up the next time. Instead, I got a call & a text when I was in the middle of something.

Instead of confirming that it would be okay to come to my home, she just randomly showed up again; knocking so hard in my door it woke up my toddler, who has trouble going down for naps. I called the owner, Nick twice, but he doesn't respond on weekends - or at least he never did the 2 weekends I tried calling. Oh and if you use them, make sure you watch the time. They tried to overcharge me for my first cleaning.

Giving two stars as they arrived on time on the date requested. As far as the cleaning goes, one star at best. Hired this service to clean my parent's vacation rental home. They paid about $160 to clean their 1800 sq ft home. I had to re-clean everything and change sheets (requested a sheet change but it wasn't provided). Toliets looked like they weren't even touched with dirty toilet paper stuck to the sides of the bowl and yucky stains. Hairs were everywhere on the bathroom floors and shower.

It was difficult to believe that they even touched one of the bathrooms as it was very dirty. Cleanser residue all over bathtub and floors. Had to reclean all the tile floors and bathroom/kitchen sinks. Rugs were not put back but the vacuuming looked ok. Not impressed, we won't use them again. Wish I would have checked the yelp rating prior to booking.

We have really enjoyed using Scout Cleaning. We will continue to recommend Scout Cleaning at every opportunity.

Been using Scout for about 6 months now and the service is great. They leave no nook or cranny uncleaned and in particular they do a great job on the bathrooms and kitchen -- they clean the stove and microwave to a spotless shine every time which is soooo nice. They work quickly and their prices are reasonable, too. I've had some bad house cleaners over the years but with Scout I've finally found one I can consistently rely on. My experience with Scout Cleaning has been nothing but positive and I plan to continue using them.

The ladies from Scout Cleaning came by yesterday and did a fantastic job cleaning my house. They were professional, courteous and fast! I will definitely use this company again.

I purchased the Living Social deal in order to save money, but I feel like I wasted every penny. We had 3 people show up to clean. They didn't even stay for an hour and didn't do much of any actual cleaning. My husband and I did all the work ourselves after they left. Will NEVER use them again. I even e-mailed Scout Cleaning and gave them an opportunity to make things right. I never even got a response. It's one thing to have a cleaning crew do a poor job. It's even worse to completely ingnore a customer.

Horrible, horrible service in general. I purchased a Living Social deal and was excited to have my upstiars of a small Denver bungalow cleaned, after 2 hours of service my house was not even clean. One cleaner was on her phone the whole time and the other supervising. I have had cleaning services in before and 2 hours for my small space is plenty of time for a thorough cleaning.

They didnt move items on my countertops, , didnt wipe down dresser tops, streaks on fridge, carpets were still dirty, floors had hair on it.extra. When I addressed the matter with the owner, Tobi, I was told the Living Social coupon is "treated differently". He didnt offer to come look at the mess or look at the size of my house, or even send someone out immediately to rectify the situation. Poor business management. Would never use again, never recommend, or only give a bad review.

Scout cleaning did a good job cleaning up my place, better than I ever do myself. I bought a 4-hour deal and they sent 2 ppl for 2 hours. I like this math, fours of cleaning, but I only had to hang around for 2 hours while they worked. The two women showed up on time, worked solid, and inquired of me about setting up a regular schedule, but weren't super pushy like I thought they might be after getting such a good deal.

With holidays coming and my place getting messy again, I will be hiring Scout again. *with any cleaning service, a prioritized list is good to present to the cleaners, that's what I did and I was very happy with the results.

I got this cleaning service through a coupon site - 4 hours for $39. Maybe that's why they did such a poor job. Two people for two hours basically cleaned the kitchen (specifically the double self-cleaning oven.but didn't even sweep or mop the hardwood floors) and the bathrooms (they did a great job on the showers.) They did not vacuum 95% of the house.

They dusted a couple areas and then said it was time to leave 20 minutes short of the 2 hours! I reguested that they at least stay the full 2 hours a dust a little bit on the 2nd floor. Called to discuss this with the manager and was never called back. Called again and spoke with Toby who said thank you for letting me know but made no offer to correct the issue. Overall there were 4 rooms in my average size home that didn't even get touched.

Getting your house cleaned is probably the easiest thing to rate, if it is clean, five stars, if it is not, one. I was not that impressed with Scout Cleaning. I purchased a groupon for a $50 four hour cleaning service, great for me as I am always traveling. Well, the fine print really states that two people come and each spend two hours each cleaning so they're really only there for two hours.

I was home while they cleaned and one woman spent the majority of the time cleaning while the other just sort of bossed her around. When they asked if I was happy with the job and if there was anything they should fix before they left I had to ask them to redo the entire kitchen and the bathroom, which had to be done in 7 minutes since their time was almost up and the manager was on the phone telling them to get out.

I wiped my hand over my wood floor, dust and crap. I ran a piece of toilet paper over the toilet bowl, it was NOT clean. I took my finger over the counter, stains still there.needless to say I wonder what they were doing the entire time besides making a lot of noise with the oven and microwave. I will say that the women were extremely nice but that does not excuse the lack of clean surfaces that they walked away from. I will most likely be sticking to a different cleaning company, or just doing it myself from now on.

The owner of Scout contacted me after this review and offered a discount for our next cleaning for the icebox incident. Totally appreciated it- and understandably every business learns as it grows. It's always a great sign that a business is willing to adjust to feedback. It also was nice that I got a personal phone call, because I'm sure it was an awkward bridge to cross.

I didn't mention before, Scout does send a monthly email with a survey, so they are definitely customer-oriented. All in all, I would recommend Scout (for the environment, and for a clean home).
