Detailz Construction created a private urban oasis that matches the aesthetic of our renovated 1875 townhome. The team was professional and walked us through every step of the design and construction process. We are very happy with our quiet little courtyard.

Mike and his team helped demo an old failing retaining wall and install a new concrete block wall in our backyard complete with an improved drainage system and accompanying staircase. From our initial meeting on Mike was extremely responsive and I was pleased with the team's willingness to listen to our feedback throughout the construction project. Mike was transparent with any cost changes and visited the site multiple times to explain the pros/cons of various upgrades. I would recommend Detailz for any construction project you're considering at your home or business.

We needed a small concrete porch to be built as an exit to our back door. The job we requested was done exactly to our specifications and done quickly and efficiently by hard working and polite workmen. We are very happy with the results. We highly recommend Detailz Construction.

I requested a quote for a masonry job. I was abruptly told they were not interested in the job due to the fact that I would be using a facade improvement grant to cover part of expense. I do not understand this - it would cause them no inconvenience - the process is the owner pays for the job in full and is reimbursed by the granting agency later.

I had hoped to work with them due to the good reviews, but, was quickly snubbed for some reason. This negative customer service experience would concern me if I were to work with them as we all want smooth sailing.

I needed work done on my foundation. My house is 100 years old. After doing a ton of research, I found Detailz Corp. Mike came out right away to complete an estimate. He was reasonably priced and his crew started the project within 2 weeks. They fixed and parged the outside of my foundation and did an amazing job! I highly recommended this business. They are a great business to work with. If I ever need concrete work again, I know who I will be calling!

I worked with Ilan to address some structural concerns I had with a Baltimore row home that was built in the 1800s. He was extremely knowledgeable and responsive while going through the quoting process. He generated a reasonable price that coupled with his knowledge on historic homes made for a very easy decision. His team came out and within a week had completed the formstone removal and brick repointing. Ilan and his team were very responsive to my and my neighbors concerns over the worksite cleanliness and worked promptly to address issues when identified.

Excellent quality, communication and professionalism displayed throughout the full process. I would absolutely retain and use Detailz again for any other masonry projects that I come across.

We had a great experience with Detailz. I had previously spoken with 2 other contractors about having our driveway replaced, but when it came time to sign a contract and schedule the work, they disappeared. So I was frantically looking for someone else when we found Detailz. From placing the first phone call to having our new driveway replaced, it took 13 days. Mike came out to give us a quote right away so we could take advantage of their winter pricing, and within days of signing the contract, they started work.

The crew was on-time, respectful, and did a great job! Mike sent me progress pictures so we could see how things were going, and he always kept me up-to-date on anything that may be a problem. When one of those problems came to a head, he clearly explained what our options were. The pricing also came in at less the previous contractors (even, in one case, for more work) but that might have been the winter discount- but I'm not complaining, because Mike expedited the process to make sure we could take advantage of it! Overall, we're very happy with our experience with Detailz and Mike in particular. We will certainly keep them in mind for future needs and recommend them to anyone needing a concrete contractor.

I contracted Detailz Construction to repoint the brick front of my rowhouse. The team did an amazing job especially with the decorative cornice at the top which wasn't a flat profile. In addition they responded to a quote and finished the work promptly. Extremely professional company and would be highly recommended for any masonry work.

It would be 'zero' but that's not an option. You just woke the street with a construction material delivery that began in a crowded residential neighborhood before 6AM. NOT COOL, Detailz. It's all in the details and you don't work well with others, in the environment that the job's in.

Detailz powerwashed our entire property and the results exceeded any expectations! I almost didn't recognize our walkway and patio because they had never looked so clean. Amazing job!

I contacted Detailz about having a new patio poured off of the back of our house, Mike and his crew did excellent work and were available any time I had a question or concern. Mike and Ilan installed a new back patio and retaining wall for us late last fall. We could not be happier with their work. They are true professionals and have a solid team. They come on time, they don't leave until you are 100% happy with their work. I can't recommend this company enough.

My husband and I are more than satisfied with our kitchen renovation by Detailz Construction. We worked with Ilan specifically. From the first time I met with Ilan I was very comfortable with him. He had great ideas for how to complete our renovation within our limited budget and listened carefully to what we said we wanted and needed in the. kitchen. Ilan also was prompt with responses and made time each day of the renovation to talk to us in person about progress and the next steps.

He also gave us honest feedback about our ideas based on his experience, which was very reassuring. During the early stages of the renovation we discovered that our floor joists were all rotted, which resulted.

The Detailz crew is excellent! They poured a foundation for a city rowhome addition, which involved doing some patch work to compensate for poor work done by a previous contractor. Detailz was very attentive to our needs.

Michael and the Detailz Construction team in Baltimore has gone above and beyond for me. Their level of service and attention to detail with their construction is above and beyond anybody else in the Baltimore City region.

Detailz Construction replaced my concrete driveway. Ilan and his staff were timely, professional and provided the highest quality service. My experience with contractors is that their professionalism and quality can be highly variable.

Detailz Construction crawled into our gross unfinished basement, scraped away 120 years of crumbling powdered mortar and replaced it with glorious stonework. We were so impressed by their work, its truly a shame that no one on the outside will see how nice the finished product was.

We recently had Detailz do a rather substantial renovation (re-did bathroom, did some demo on our first floor and put in a new ceiling and electric and refinished floors) and I can't say enough good things about working with Mike and Ilan.

Thanks for the new back patio renovation. This included building a new wall, excavating the old concrete and stone, digging out an invasive plant/tree, stucco on several wall, a new roof with ceiling fan and light fixtures, and cleaning and sealing the cedar planks.
