B. A. Painting

Critical: Responsiveness Unresponsive. Maybe our job was too small compared to painting an entire house, but B.A. Painting could still answer our calls or texts to at least say they were not interested. We were quoted and counting on them to complete the service, but they suddenly disappeared.

We are working with Jorge for many years. He painted exterior of our house (2 times), interior and deck (also 2 times). I can't be happier with the job Jorge and his crew is doing - meticulous sealing of the exterior, great painting, wood repair and replacement. Price is fair, people are very friendly and hard working. Materials used are of a high quality.

Jorge and his team came highly recommended and do excellent work. They are so friendly, fair, professional, efficient, knowledgeable, and hard-working. I would recommend them to absolutely anyone. Their work has transformed my kitchen and now it looks amazing!

Been using B.A. since 2014 and very satisfied with the quality of their work and reasonable pricing. The BA Painting team did a great job on our home! Both the painting and drywall work was done professionally and done very well. George was great to work with and the job was done at a fair price. We are so thankful their schedule allowed them to do the work before our new flooring was installed!

Jorge came highly recommended from a very good friend of mine. His crew was efficient, detailed and respectful. The room was dark and seams on ceiling needed to be repaired. Jorge was recommended to us by a close friend when we inquired about a recent painting project they had just finished on their house. Jorge's team did a great job in painting our basement. They also did a great job in repairing some subpar drywall work that was done by the original contractors. While in the process of painting the walls, we had casually asked Jorge if his team also did trim work.

We had been contemplating doing the trim work ourselves but Jorge's price quote was extremely fair and competitive, and the work was done very well. Jorge was easy to work with and accommodating of our schedule. We will be definitely be using Jorge and his team for future projects.

So, called to get a quote, and it's not a problem to pay prevailing wages, I am all for this. But he was $20.00 than the prevailing wage.

I hired Jorge to put in vinyl/PVC porch railings for my front porch and my side porch. The railings had to match existing side rails on the front porch (these were the rails going down the stairs). The side porch was made of pavers, had no railings and looked trickier. Additionally, I wanted a shelf on/near the railing - this is the porch to go to the patio and BBQ grill. Jorge did fantastic work!

It looks terrific. There were many tricky aspects to it and he conquered all difficulties. I felt the price was fair - he was definitely not the cheapest quote I got, but I had followed up with references who raved about him - and I can see why - he did very good work. That said, he could have been a better communicator - I would have liked a written proposal and I wish it had not been me to follow up with him on "are you coming today" - however, he had had an emergency in his family so it may have been just that. I very much recommend Jorge for porch railings. Plus - added bonus - he's a really nice guy!

I had used George before and while I did have to keep chasing him down to get the original project done I thought he was a nice guy and gave him a decent review. I have recently tried to have him work on another project for me and I have never had a worse time with someone in regards to contacting them and in regards to him just simply not showing or even calling when we had an appointment set to go over the new job. I will never even think of contacting this company again and would never recommend them to anyone I know.

Jorge and his crew were punctual, hard-working, and respectful of our home. The quality of the repairs/patching/caulking of our walls and woodwork was superior as was the painting of the walls and trim. Communication was excellent throughout the process and the job was completed exactly on time. As I was comparing prices for this project, Jorge's bid fit our budget. For the price, quality of work, and promised completion date, I highly recommend Jorge and his crew.

We are very happy with the job you did in painting our family room, bedroom & bath, and ceiling in the Living room/kitchen. Everything looks wonderful! I think you have the best crew working for you! They worked hard all day and cleaned up so we could live in the house at the end of each day! Very talented and nice people to work with!

George and his crew are professional and do an excellent job for a reasonable price! They did all kitchen cabinets and kitchen, dining room, den and all turned out beautifully. Even the guy that came in to do tile for us asked who did the cabinets, he could tell they were professionally done!

Jorge and his crew did a phenomenal job on our kitchen and living room. They were very professional and able to fit us in to their schedules quickly. We had a lot of drywall repair and patching including ceilings. They made it look seamless so you couldn't tell the old from the new. They did a great job on the mudding and the painting was great (ceiling and corners perfectly trimmed in and coverage was excellent). We will definitely use B & A Painting for future projects and highly recommend them to others.

We are really happy with the work that George Barba/B.A. Painting and his team completed in our kitchen. He gave a reasonable quote, explained the process he would go through to do the job, and followed through on what he said. He was especially accommodating to our scheduling needs, even coming over on a Sunday to complete the work. His team was clean, quiet, polite and efficient.

We had the exterior of our house painted and couldn't be happier. I've recently dealt with a lot of various contractors and George was by far the best. He's priced fairly, a great communicator, and flexible. I had to push our date back 2 months due to other construction and George didn't mind at all. I ended up changing some minor things and he did it without blinking an eye.

There was a little over spray that got on our deck by accident and he made sure it was fixed. If there was an issue, he'd resolve it quickly and was always apologetic. George called me today, I was surprised because I had already paid him and the work had been completed. I listened to the voicemail and he wanted to make sure I was still happy with the work and to let him know if any touch ups were needed. I WAS SHOCKED! That's amazing service. I would highly recommend BA for any of your painting needs. Jorge the owner is easy to work with, very responsive and definitely wants to make sure you are completely satisfied. He was by far the most reasonable quote around for my entire house. Paid exactly what our original quote stated. The guys that work for him are just as friendly and hard working. I will for sure use him again in the future.

These guys are the best around. I had my kitchen cabinets refinished and they look amazing. Jorge and his crew were on time and very generous, kind and courteous everyday they were at my home. True professionals. And not to mention the price, Jorge will work with you and your budget if you need him too. Overall, I would use these guys again without a doubt. Highly recommended!

I have read mixed reviews about this company, but I am very happy with them. I had 30 year old exterior cedar I was thinking about replacing. George and his company truly restored the wood so it will last another 10 years and looks great. The price was also great. George was able to match the color of another house that we liked as well. The only reason I didn't do 5 stars is because there was a bit of a delay between the quote and the start of the work. Still, very happy!

BA Painting made it easy to plan with an accurate estimate and timely work. They did a great job and were in and out of the condo in just a couple of days!

We found B.A. Painting in recent renovations to our church to be very professional, knowledgeable, reliable, extremely neat and very helpful in accommodating our schedule.

I'm beyond disappointed with this company. I received an estimate. I spoke with George to verify what it covered. After the guys started, he said to actually finish the project, AS WRITTEN IN HIS BID, was another $100 and only one coat. He told me only one coat was needed on this never before stained wood. I spoke with the person who sold him the stain even, and he said two coats were necessary. George never came to my house to even discuss this or look at the project.

I didn't hear from him on my UNFINISHED project for a month. He contacted me for payment. I told him I wanted the job done as I was told it would be originally. He swore at me and called me a filthy name and hung up. I have filed a report with the BBB.

I can't say enough about this company. Jorge Barba and his guys did a fantastic job on my family room, dining room and office. The family room was a huge project with two story ceilings and a pine ceiling I wanted stained. I also wanted the bar that's located in there stained as well. It turned out so well and we're very pleased. We will definitely be using them for other rooms in our house. George and his guys were very nice and fun to work with. We even played an April Fool's joke on one of his employees. Very enjoyable experience throughout.

I hired George to paint my cabinets in my kitchen. He was very pleasant and explained what supplies he would be using and how long it would take. The job was done beautifully and looked like brand new cabinets but cost 1/4 of what new cabinets would cost! I get compliments all the time. I would highly recommend this company to do any painting in your home!

I hired this company to hang some drywall and paint. They did a horrible job. And when I kept pointing out really bad drywall issues. I had to offer tips on how to fix their mistakes. They would show up late and take long breaks and leave early. Geroge, the owner/ boss I suppose never Thinks anything is wrong nag gets angry when you point out the flaws his guys are doing.

After they were all done, I looked around and paid them. A week later I noticed the messed up hanging a piece of drywall and now my wall has a crooked seam. Called Geroge and left messages. Took days to get him to call back. Then he refused that there was anything wrong, even after sending pictures because he will not come back to look at it. He has stopped responding to me.

So now I have messed up wall. They also painted one door. When no doors should of been painted. Over all, very long and bad experience. I will not be using them to paint the rest of my house.
