We have so many good things to say about Joe Zieba and the team at Zieba Builders. Out of several people we had to come out to our home to talk about remodeling, Joe was the only one to talk about solutions to our poorly designed addition and to call back and seek our business. Joe's designs for our kitchen and bath remodel and added laundry room, new entrance to the primary bedroom, and new deck and railing were efficient and beautiful. Designers Heather and Bill helped us choose shapes and materials that fit our aesthetic and lifestyle.

From the beginning of demo to the final inspection, there was someone working on our home almost every day with zero to little down time in between the trades. The Zieba team was able to complete our project within the quoted timeframe and we moved in as planned. Angelika, the front office manager, and Darren, our site manager, were always available to answer questions and coordinate the various points of construction. We love our newly remodeled home and we highly recommend Zieba Builders.

My home is over 100 years old and in an historic district. Any new construction needed to maintain the integrity of the original building; so expanding the footprint of the original structure to accommodate a modern kitchen required the right contractor, someone who is current with today's materials, and techniques, and yet respects the beauty and detail of an older home.

In Joe Zieba and Zieba Builders, I found a design-build contractor who was able to blend these two constraints perfectly. He and his team have an exceptional eye for detail and a love of craftsmanship, and are able to execute on both. Zieba and his design team came up with a 160 sq ft addition that seamlessly melds the conveniences of a modern kitchen with my 1912 home.

I now have a beautiful kitchen with all the modern touches which feels like it was always part of the house. I cannot say enough good things about Zieba Builders. Everyone on the team was polite, knew their job, and was professional. The bid was detailed, fair, and accurate. There were no surprise charges, and the timing of the billings followed the schedule exactly, which made for easy budgeting.

My new kitchen is a showpiece. The quality and craftsmanship of the work is the same as one would find in the finest houses in the country. Zieba Builders have exceeded my expectations on all fronts. I highly recommend Zieba Builders to anyone considering a construction project.

My wife and I had a great experience working with Zieba Builders in creating our dream kitchen. The owner Joe Zieba always made himself available. The quality of their work really showed. It was great working with their interior designer who helped us choose finishes and light fixtures. Any questions or concerns were always addressed thoroughly. We have worked with other contractors in the past who were not always responsive, and did not take the care that Zieba Builders did.

We did a lot of research before choosing Zieba Builders for our kitchen remodel. This was no simple gut and switch. We took out supporting walls, moved doors, and flipped the kitchen from one side of the house to the other. Throughout the process, we could not have been more happy with Zieba Builders. This is why. *They worked with our vision to design our dream kitchen, not their dream kitchen. *They made sure we were comfortable every step of the way, including helping us set up a temporary kitchen in the garage including making sure the garage sink was clear before we started using it. *They started and finished the project on time : Amazing considering Covid hit right in the middle of the job. *Every crew, both Zeiba's own workers or subcontractors were completely professional -Arrived and left on time -Cleaned the worksite at the end of each day. -Took the time to explain what they were working on daily. -Took our suggestions and minor changes in stride with a smile. -Identified minor errors in the work and corrected them even before we had a chance to bring them up. -Respectful of our space, never entering our half of the house without permission. *Price was competitive -They weren't the cheapest, but were competitive with similar quality construction, and as far as I am concerned worth every penny *Since construction ended, we have had a few very minor things come up and Joe and his crew have been super responsive in resolving those issues promptly. We would use them again in a heartbeat!

My husband and I just completed a fantastic kitchen/family room and living room remodel with Zieba Builders. The Zieba team was hands down the best- extremely professional and capable- from the design portion and selection of fixtures and materials with Kelly Arballo to the construction expertise of Joe Zieba to the craftsmanship and helpfulness of Antonio and all of the subs.

The Zieba team is incredible. They designed and remodeled our duplex. From the front patio to downstairs, and upstairs. They don't miss a single detail. Their work is perfection and they are the kindest company.

Zieba Builders has completed two major projects for us: an upstairs bedroom & bath remodel and, more recently, a major kitchen remodel (down to the studs). We own a 1909 California bungalow in a historic district in Long Beach. I wanted all the modern conveniences but also wanted the kitchen to be in keeping with the mission style architecture of the house.

The odd, L shaped, floor plan presented a challenge but Joe nailed it. I have an efficient kitchen with 3 separate work areas, and the cabinets are a good match with the Stickley table in the dinning room. On one wall of cabinetry he added corbels and made the middle cabinet deeper so it appears to be an antique side board. The quality of workmanship is excellent, and we were very comfortable having his staff and subs work in our home. Joe also has a a knowledge of and respect for the city's regarding the building requirements for homes located in historical districts. Work was done on time and within budget.

This company does high end quality work. One of the best I have seen in the Long Beach, CA. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to remodel their business/home.

Working with Zieba Builders was an absolute pleasure. Our 1920's Spanish Revival home was in dire need of a full kitchen remodel. Our goal was to stay in keeping with the original 1920's art deco design yet bring in many of today's modern amenities. After collecting magazines, photos, and concepts for over a decade, we presented the Zieba Builders team with our collection of ideas.

It was amazing how they breathed life into these ideas and made them all a reality. We are enjoying our new kitchen immensely and looking forward to working with Zieba Builders on a few other projects.so keep posted!

Exceeded expectations. An architect, my brother, reported exterior wood work was furniture quality. Top quality throughout. Joe is familiar with craftsman architecture -a plus dealing with the historical committee. He suggested several changes that were great improvements.

I can't emphasize how professional and clean they were. We have gone through another major remodel in our previous home, so we are very picky in selecting contractors. We went with the Zieba's because they came highly recommended and we admired Karen's design aesthetics. They did not disappoint us.

Zieba Builders' attention to detail and ability to understand my (home owner) needs was key to my contractor selection decision. Karen and Kelly have been very helpful, patient and accommodating during the planning phase of the project. Karen especially took the time to fully explain the process and contract provisions. Sokha has also been so helpful in coordinating meetings.

Our home turned out better than expected. We got lucky being referred to you, and we could not be happier with the entire experience. All commitments that were made were kept and completed to our total satisfaction. Even our neighbors made comments at how polite and courteous the employees at Zieba Builders were.
