Terrible experience. My 4 yr old AC stopped working, AC that is serviced once a year. Rocco arrived, and tried to convince me that Sears (who installed the unit), installed a wrong kind of unit, and mold accumulated which caused my AC to shut down. When I questioned this claim, based on the fact that the AC was working perfectly for 4 yrs, and no service technician mentioned any mold all this years, Rocco tried to convince me that the technicians for Sears lied because they did not want to take the responsibility.
And on top of that, according to Rocco, townhomes have different "kind" AC units, and mine was just not comparable with my duct system. It was the correct size, but not the correct type (complete BS, by the way). the price to get AC running was $8500, since the duct system needed to be replaced. Called AND Services, they came out in 2 hours, fixed the AC, recommended ducts to be cleaned, and charged me $100. ACS scams customers to preform work that is not needed, and especially if its a woman. I bet that quote would never be presented to a man. I paid them $79, and it was all a waste. Will be reporting them to BBB and the state office.

Initially my AC unit was leaking and had ruined my flooring so I called ACS, a company I haven't used yet, and not only were they able to come out same day which was unexpected but very welcomed, the tech that came out, Matt N. was wonderful. He physically showed the issues it had that you could see and determined I simply needed a whole new unit. Offered to repair broken parts but frankly with the problems it had, it more sense for me personally to get a new unit.
Not once was he pushy in the sale of the new AC unit and answered any questions I had to help me pick one that would suit me. Appeared to be a very knowledgeable and genuine man. He even was able to help me coordinate with a water restoration company to clean up the water damage along side the timing of the new unit installation. I really am very happy with Matt and the company.

Employee was very polite and worked well with person he was training. All system questions were answered and readily welcomed. I need to have one issue cared for and inquired about it. It seems it can be cared for but I must thoughtfully decide due to the expense. The employee was not "pushy" about it which I appreciated.

Josh was awesome! First he was right on time that main office scheduled for 0900. He expertly trobleshot my non-working AC unit thT was not blowing out any air at all. Within an hour he had found that the compressor starter kit relay had blown and replaced it. Now I have a fully functional AC again for just a fraction of the cost I was expecting. ACS and their technicians have always been prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. Cannot go wrong as you get everything and more using ACS Home Services for your AC needs at fraction of the cost of other larger AC maintenance and repair companies.

This company is horrible. The guy that came into sell us the product he was fine. Everything else is horrible. They came an hour late for install, I was told they would build the box to put the new unit on. That became a mess. Then they come service it and the last guy flat out said he is retired and to check the heating component is to much work! Tells us each thing to be done would need be another $2,000 (cleaning the coil and buying some unit to put in to clean it) I have only had the unit for 2 years maybe less. Stay far away from this company! I called twice to speak with a manager. they were supposed to call me back. it's been three weeks! STILL WAITING!

We were having trouble with multiple AC units at our home. We were unhappy with our previous company and were recommended ACS. Technician Brian Turner assessed the units and provided all the options for repair or replacement. He was very helpful and patient with our questions and concerns. We did not feel any pressure to purchase new units rather than repair.
The quotes he provided were reasonable and beat other quotes we received. We could not be happier with the attention and service provided and will be calling Brian the next time we have any AC or electrical issues in the future. Thank you again for the great work!

Technician knowledgeable and professional. Expected having to replace a single UV light. Nothing else but that's how that goes. Didn't expect my capacitor to be struggling, I had air leaks in the air handler, mastic to be the remedy. I also wanted another UV unit to cover a second area in the handler to kill mold. My technician was able to create a package discount as a VIP customer paying 1,300.00 for the mastic, capacitor, replacement bulb for the air knight unit, replacement bulb for uv light unit to kill mold, purchased a second unit and light to kill mold to cover another area in unit.
All work was performed except the air night bulb change out which i'm expecting them to come back and replace once the part comes in. I hope I wasn't taken. Very convenient and fairly quick service, didn't help that I kept talking to him. I appreciate the thorough work done. I wasn't fitted for filters as the ACS scheduler said I would be. Apparently they have a service where inexpensive filters will be shipped to your door. Not sure what happened there. Would have given 5 stars had they had the air knight part on the truck. Thank you ACS!

Paid almost $300 in labor for what turned out to be a misdiagnosis by the 1st tech. He ordered a condenser board that was under warranty (which we waited a week to get) but the 2nd tech replaced a 3-amp fuse on the original board. A fuse that's readily available in stores. This should not have cost this much nor taken over a week. Left messages days ago for both owner and service manager to discuss and no one has contacted me.

I called ACS air conditioning services on a Saturday in the afternoon to have them come fix my daughters air conditioner. They were friendly, prompt and said they would make it work to be able to fit her in that day. The tech showed up a few hours later and fixed the air conditioner. To have someone come out on such short notice on a weekend to me is priceless. I would highly recommend using this company. They are extremely professional and courteous.

I had a great experience with ACS. My AC wasn't cooling the house today, so I called about 15 companies that had no availability. Finally, ACS was able to send Connor out within an hour of my call. Connor was awesome! Very personable guy who quickly identified the issue and provided an immediate solution. The house temp is back to normal and I can't thanks ACS enough. Highly recommend!

After an absolute nightmare experience with Millian Aire, we were forced to locate another company. ACS Homeservice sent Caleb (if I recall correctly) out and we were immediately impressed with his knowledge bank of a/c systems. (Personally he missed his calling, because the kid is quite intelligent.) He was able to efficiently explain to us the problems Millian Aire created -from our barely a year old brand new a/c unit (now needing a new fuse, thermostat, drain pan, water damage and mold repair)- adequately review an estimate to repair said problems, and schedule the return.
I can't say it was a seamless return; however, I can confirm, their customer service was on top of any scheduling and missing parts issues subsequently rectifying the situation in quite the professional manner. We would ABSOLUTELY recommend ACS Air.

I called on a Sunday afternoon in July for a request for service and the lady representative that took my call told me that help is on the way. Kaleb called within the hour and said he was on the way. When Kaleb arrived and I explained my A/C issue, he nailed it. Totally professional and extremely pleasant fellow. ALERT Ripe off Company I pay a monthly fee for this company for services. Had an issue with my heat and everything was all good the technician came and looked at the furnace and told us what the issue was and told me it was under warranty. Great news. not really he told us that the job is going to be $675.so i asked why so much and he told us that company charges to order a FREE part under warranty plus labor (that is RIDICULOUS).so next day called and spoke to a women in office and claims the tech shouldn't have told us this and job was MISPRICED and it should be $750 (WHAT) but will honor the price of $675.
So we figured out a price(better lol i guess) then turns around says we have to full payment before they order the part and do the work and I started laughing and told not gonna happen will give half now and half when job is done. she told me cant happen and full payment is required to do anything.end result we Cancelled everything with this company and got the job done for $250 BE CAREFUL

We got a new AC unit installed over a year ago and still the job is not complete. Horrible communication and customer service! They are currently offering us a "huge" discount on a part that was never properly installed in the first place. I can not insert a filter because the heat plate was incorrectly installed.but they will fix it with a discount?!?! I'll be looking elsewhere from now on. Save yourself a year long headache by NOT choosing ACS Home Services.

Our AC went out at around 7 pm. By 9 pm we already had our service tech, Rocco, out at the house. He did a thorough inspection, found the problem, and was able to fix it within an hour. He provided not only great service, but great overall customer service. As new Floridians he also gave us great tips and tricks to keep our AC unit maintained. Highly recommend. A+++++ service!

This company is a complete joke. 100% scammers! I can't even make this up. On August 15, 2019 I had called this company out because my unit was having trouble cooling the house. Cris, who came out to do the diagnostics and repair was very nice, however I don't think he was very knowledgeable. Initially we discussed that there was most likely a leak.
When we went out to the unit and he changed out the capacitor which I told him had been changed three months ago. After that, he checked the freon, it was a pound low. He put Freon in the unit and of course it blew cold. I informed him that I had a warranty on the parts, and he told me that the manufacturer charges $237 to file the claim for the warranty and that he would only charge me $237 for the capacitor, and changing it out.
I thought that sounded a little funny, but I was just happy that the AC was working. Let's fast forward to yesterday, September 19, 2019. I woke up and the AC of course was lagging a little bit, and freezing which really hasn't been unusual since they came out. I waited till 8 AM and I called Goodman to ask them about the warranty part and found out that they charge nothing, let alone $237 to file the claim for the warranty.
That was the first lie this company told. So then I called the office and I spoke to a representative who was in fact pretty nice, and she was trying to be helpful. She offered to send another technician out for the warrantied work, and she did. This young man shows up, and tells me that Cris was in the wrong, and that I most likely didn't need a capacitor.
He also told me that he did not follow company policy, and he should have never put Freon in my unit without figuring out why it was leaking. Cris initially did suggest a leak test, but then replaced the capacitor. this young man proceeded to tell me that I need $8,000.00 in duct work, and I had a leak, and blah, blah, blah. I then asked him about my $300.00 that I spent with them for Cris to come out and wrongfully replace parts that weren't needed, and for simply not fixing the issue. he then went outside and called the owner of the company. he came in with him on speaker phone and I spoke to him. he didn't say either way if he felt Cris was wrong, but did make the comment that he wasn't trying to defend technicians, but at the end of the day they sometimes are tired and will do "whatever" just to get out of there to go home. WOW! So, why should his technician being tired cost me $300.00?!
They offered no compensation, nor my money back. they did say that if I did the 8k worth of duct work with them that they wouldn't charge me to fix the leak. I would never give them another dime again let alone 8k. I have another company coming today that will probably tell me my duct work is fine. fun fact, I got both conversations on voice record on my phone. if you don't believe me, I will send them to whoever wants them.

Our AC went out Saturday night. ACS is the 4th company we asked to make a quote: FIRST TO RE-CHECK THE COMPRESSOR. First company quoted $10k for a new AC. Bad starter cap was the true diagnosis and we only ended up paying $243 to nurse our 17 year old A/C along. Rocco rocks! And when the machine truly does die, or when we are ready to replace it, we know whom to call. Joined the club, scheduling maintenance, and sleeping COOL tonight. Delighted.

I needed a quote for a new HVAC system by Friday. I called ACS and they assured me it was no problem, they would be there Thursday to estimate the cost. Then they rescheduled for Friday.fine. They were supposed to be there between 9 and 10:30am. At 9:20, as I was sitting around waiting for them, they called to say they were busy and they were just not going to do the estimate at all. ACS Home Services left me up the creek without a paddle.shockingly unprofessional!

Did not show up for appointment. Not impressed that they just didn't care about a $7k+ job. I am shocked at the service I just received my wife called and booked them for a quote a few days in advance and was confirmed. They called and rescheduled for the next day which was the final deadline for quotes. They called while my wife was Onsite waiting for them 20 minutes late to cancel with us.
She explained to them that it was the final day for quotes they they didn't care. This is extremely unprofessional, the only way to get the job is to properly bid on the job, this includes; how hard was it for me to get a hold of you, how hard was it to schedule with you, did you follow through with promises, did you show up to make the quote, finally how good was your quote and warranty offered?
This is the easiest part of the job, show up and tell me how much money you want. If you can't bother to show up to get money how hard would it have been for me to get service on a system after it is installed. They just called her back to "encourage her to reconsider her review, and that their business comes from online resources"

Kevin was here this morning to do a ductwork cleaning. He was VERY professional. Some of my ducts were not secured properly. He suggested not cleaning them until they've been secured because it might cause may cause damage at the junction area. I was very impressed by his cautious attitude and concern. Good work. Will call them again.

I am editing this review from an earlier post. I do stand by the facts of my original review(last paragraph), at the time I gave them 2 stars. This however has changed and I would like to tell you what changed my mind. Simply stated Ian (the owner) called me directly after he read my post and we spoke for about 30 minutes. He honestly wanted to know why, what did they do wrong?
I explained my thought process and he explained, to my satisfaction, some "behind the scenes" reasoning. In this day and age it is rare to find someone who cares. Ian does. So for that reason I have changed my mind. I will give ACS another try because I believe Ian is honest and truly cares. I responded to a special offer for $39. The tech was pretty good he did explain what he thought and what I should do.
Pretty strong upsale for their maintenance membership. The part he suggested needed replacement was a capacitor. He switched it out said the AC was in very good working order. 2 weeks later I am having AC issues, I call them back only to be told its just the heat AC is having trouble keeping up. But they suggest I do a Freon pressure leak test.

Why 3 stars? Because the owner addressed this situation. --- --- --- A few weeks after posting this review, I received a phone call from the owner of ACS, who was appalled at the experience I had with ACS. He took all of my feedback in stride and profusely apologized. I then received another apology in the mail shortly thereafter. I don't enjoy writing one and two star reviews.
I think those are reserved for businesses that provide a bad service AND don't care about their customers. It's clear ACS does provide the latter, after talking with the owner. That being said, I do hope concrete changes are made, so that future customers do not deal with the same situation I did. I can't say that I know for sure if that will be the case, but I will take the owner at his word.
