A-1 Bonded Termite

I called for service to rid house of rats in garage and attic. Service man came out walked inside and outside house to see where rats were entering. Tells us he has to give info to office for a quote on cost and will call us back in a couple hours. We finally had to call him only for him to say, he can't do the job because they can't guarantee the job, do to our garage door being open. Excuse me, it was opened for him to check for rodents and when we do laundry.

Think twice before you decide to go with this company. I specifically asked if they remove rats from attic, yes they do, so what does my garage door have to do with it. Lucky us we sit with rotting rats in our attic and garage, such a lovely odor to live with for weeks.

A1 came out and inspected my home for termites. Matt was awesome and inspected my entire home. Will use this company in the future my extermination needs.

I am in property management and started using A-1 Bonded Termite this year and they have done over 30 jobs for me! They are extremely quick, reliable and do a great job at their craft. I have worked with many different termite companies over the years and I am so glad I will not have to look for anymore. Matt has gone out of his way to make inspections happen when the schedule is tight and they leave incredibly detailed reports that we use all the time. If you are looking for any termite or pest control i highly recommend you give them a call.

Searched Yelp and found three companies with 4+ stars for quotes. One company found multiple spots in the attic and outside and suggested fumigation, another company also found multiple spots in the attic and outside and can do local treatment but the price is similar to fumigation. A-1 bounded did a thorough inspection and found multiple wood damage spots outside the house and one inside. Went to the attic and found no new damage.

We were told the wood damage found in the attic by the other companies all have old dates marked on the wood, meaning they have been treated previously. The quote was very reasonable and the technitians are very professional and courteous. strongly recommend.

I've been using their service since more than 6 years. Great guys. very friendly and helpful. Deligent in their work. If they miss something, would come out and stand by their work.

I never leave negative feedback; however, today, after being a customer since 2014 and how the company has chosen to handle my concerns, I feel there is no other option but to share the experiences here. In 2014 A1 Termites tented our house, and I did not have any issues. Based on the last two visits by the same employee, I now must question their ability to handle rodents. Newport is unfortunately filled with roof rats, especially as of late.

The employee they've been sending immediately keeps stating as he walks over the threshold, before checking anything how they can't handle the problem. The last time he said that I was charged $650 for three 10 minute visits to check the traps in the attic and catching one rodent. This was one of the visits, which he said they couldn't help. Today, the same employee came and told me before again checking anything that they won't be able to help, and I should call another company and get a second opinion.

I asked if he could please at least check out the area before saying nothing can be done. He quickly checked and then stated he couldn't do anything because of our air ducts. Can't believe I'm just supposed to have a rodent in my wall and not do anything? Since this was the second time the same employee stated there's nothing he can do before even checking out the area via the attic, I called A1 Termite's office.

I was told that three of them at the office would discuss my situation and call me back. They asked me to give them a chance to answer my concerns before, as they put it, "running it up the flagpole" by contacting my father-in-law (who recommended them through his friend that owns commercial buildings and uses them as well), to which I agreed. I waited and waited for the promised call.

You can imagine my surprise after waiting for a follow-up call; I get a call from my 93-year-old, father-in-law (BTW: I'm 61) that they tried to give their story, while it was suggested they were trying to throw me under the bus for their employee's action. This is beyond bizarre and unprofessional. Based on the last two appointments and their actions today of trying to save their butts with my FIL, instead of providing any customer service, I can no longer recommend them - and most definitely do not recommend them for rodents.

This is how a company treats a client of seven years? I was ready to tent our house again - and because of how they chose to handle this situation, they will not be getting that money.

I had my home fumigated and noticed many pests around the house after fumigation. Frank and Jon came out for the pest spray for the interior and exterior and they were sooo nice! I had a furniture delivery and they waited until the furniture was delivered and assembled before they came inside the house to spray. They could have easily left and rescheduled but they were super friendly and kind!

A-1 did a great job taking care of the rat colony in my attic. Every technician that came to our home was completely professional and very personable. I would recommend them to everyone. I got three other estimates for the work and A-1 also came in the lowest. but I chose them for the great service.

A-1 Bonded Termite is excellent if you're looking for long-term termite solution. Matt has been professional and patient in responding to all my questions. If you're looking for the best bang for your buck without sacrificing the quality of the service, this will be the way to go.

A-1 Bonded Termite was excellent at every turn. The owner, Geoff, arrived exactly at the time scheduled to do our inspection. We had just a few repairs required and two workers showed up exactly as scheduled and expeditiously completed the work. The office also was so responsive, emailing required paperwork promptly at each step. Even their system of paying online was simple to use. I never review but this process was simply perfect so I had to give them credit!

Frank was awesome! For the quote, he walked us around the house where there were holes to be filled and then after treatment, he showed us the areas of his work. He was friendly and thorough. Thank you!

They were very accommodating in regards to scheduling the free inspection and came out the same day. The work was done promptly a few days later by one of their technicians, Frank. Frank completed the work quickly and professionally. He also left the place very tidy. He was friendly, informative and respected requirements for mask and social distancing. Thank you, Frank.

I called this morning to schedule an inspection and they had an opening at 2pm. They called to see if Geoff could come earlier at 12:30pm and he came right on the dot. Recently, Geoff from A-1 came over to inspect my property and provide a report. He was very polite, thorough, and understanding to my situation. My dogs liked him and I was happy to see that he double-checked that the gate was closed and asked me to check as well. Little things like this make a difference to me. They took really good care to explain all I needed to know prior to vacating my home for the termite treatment I scheduled in early September. I was very satisfied with the service received. Everything ran smoothly. I had four or five different companies come out and A-1 was most thorough in the estimate phase of this project.
