American Metal Roofs

CREEPY! I called to get an estimate. When the rep showed up, he refused to even discuss the job without my wife being present. I explained she had no interest and would consider it a waste of her time. When he insisted she stop what she was doing and come out to listen to the spiel, I said she would not. He then left. My wife overheard the conversation and she said he creeped her out. I am perfectly capable of handling my household affairs. There may be some legitimate reason for this but I have no idea what that was all about. What a waste of time.

Tried booking an appointment for an estimate for one of my homes for a metal roof. I Booked my appointment even online on their website. After multiple phone calls and no salesperson showing up at the time I booked, I decided to work with a local instead of a big company that can't even keep up with their appointment bookings. I am not sure why this company advertises in Northern Michigan if they can't service it.

Why are all of the images on their website of older people? Seems like granny scamming to me, especially after the rigorous amount of questions about my personal demographics. SKETCHY.

If you like high pressure salesman, call this company! We had Bill Susewitz out to look at our roof. He gave us an abominable price for roof heaters. When asked if we could talk to someone who has one installed, wo we could see if they liked them, he wouldn't give any names. For guarantee, they would guarantee the steel, but not the electrical wire.

He was arrogant and tried to pressure us to make a decision NOW! Can't think it over and get in touch with him later. When my husband said he didn't want to make a decision right now, the salesman told him he was wishywashy. Does he think by that attitude we would ever recommend him to anyone else? I hate high pressure salesmen. I will not deal with them!

Was referred to give this company a call, so I did. Scheduled my appointment and was ready to go. Day before appointment I get a text to call them to confirm my appointment. I go ahead and make the call to be told that my wife has to be present also for them to even come out? Like really? We are currently on vacation, but I was going to drive back home to meet with them.

Lady on phone informs me because my wife will not be home they cannot come to appointment. There reason was because they have a lot of choices. Even after I informed them that I make these decisions they said no. They wanted to reschedule but after they informed me that there avg. price was 47k, I was like no we can cancel. Ty but I already received a quote from a local contractor for 1/2 this and its for metal also.

I understand that metal roofs costs more but come on. This is also a poor business model to require the family to be home to get estimate. Sounds very shady and more like a high pressure salesman act.

I love my metal roof! It is absolutely beautiful with a shingle look. The roof is not at all noisy like I thought a metal roof may be and the best thing is I will never have to replace my roof again. The Install Team was very punctual, professional and courteous. The work was done on time and they did a great job with clean up. I would highly recommend American Metal Roofs.

From the sales and presentation through completion of the project we could not be happier with the job done. The team working on our house were very professional and considerate. Great company to work with, from the sales rep that came to my house, showing me all the different pieces that were designed and engineered to provide a lifelong roof, . to the installation crew that worked through our cold Michigan winter to install my new roof, great bunch of guys to see working hard. I love my new roof, I've got a yellow house, white trim, and a now a new Pearl Black (Oxford style) metal roof by American Metal Roof. love it!

Impressed with the profession of the crew and installation of the roofing materials. They picked up everything and left the site looking good. They were always ready to answer any question I had and very thorough in explaining. Extremely impressed!

I liked the idea of a metal roof because of its eye appeal/attractiveness, and the warranty, which is lifetime and transferable. I appreciated the care of the installation team and particularly the team leader. He sometimes made the team tear off and re-do areas he did not think were perfect enough. I enjoyed working with the Customer Concierge, Leah, and now Amber Thomas.

They were personable, courteous, and expressed strong desire to help as needed. When I had a water run off issue after installation, Nate Westfell, who specializes in solving problem issues was sent to my home as soon as possible. He was a joy to work with. He was attentive, listened, analyzed the issue, and found solutions. Everyone I have mentioned including a short conversation with Vice President Dan Lane were very professional while also personable and courteous.

American Metal Roof did good work. We are well satisfied with the roof!

We were extremely pleased. The salesmen and crew were professional and nice people.

Overall I am pleased with what they accomplished now. I look forward to many years of our roof working.
