Initial communication and timely responses could have been better (only reason I'm not giving 5 stars) but the quality of work was top notch. K-Ram repaired new water leaks in my tile roof and also repaired a previously repair job by a different company that was not done correctly. These guys know what they are doing and do it right even if it means wrapping up the job on Thanksgiving morning (this happened). I'll use them again.

My roof was old, not having any problems with it, but it did need to be replaced. K-Ram responded quickly with an estimate, worked patiently with me in providing samples. But, more important to me is that they patiently explained the pros and cons of each roof type I was considering, even supplying me with illustrations. I appreciated that. K-Ram showed up when they said they would, finished when they said they would and cleaned up as they said they would. K-Ram even went beyond expectations by helping me with other unrelated roofing issues that arose.
They were exceptional consultants for the roofing for a new addition. My re-roof and my new roof are great, no issues, and I expect them to last for many years. I have complete confidence in K-Ram's expertise and workmanship. It is a very professional and pleasant company to work with. I would definitely recommend K-Ram and in fact, did recommend them to my sister-in-law.

Used these guys for a re-roof installation. As stated in the contract they were supposed to do a core sample to check for any wood damage and replace wood accordingly before installing the new roof materials. Day of installation I climbed up there to check the progress. There was no core sample and no wood being replaced. They were almost done installing the new roof material. Asked the supervisor why there was no core sample and he had no idea what I was talking about.
I had to call "Cody" the guy that sold me on the roof. He apologized and had the crew do the core sample like they were supposed to. Turns out there were multiple sheets of wood and insulation that needed to be replaced. They had to start all over again. Good thing I climbed up there to look because they were just going to rush through it and would have missed replacing wood and insulation.
Also by the end of the day the crew just left without saying a word. No phone call or text to let me know anything. They just left. There was still conduit piping lifted up off the roof so it didn't look like they were done. Had to text Cody to ask what the deal was. He said that the roof was done and it needed to cure and that the crew would be back to put the conduit back down. 1 week goes by.
Then 2 weeks. I had to "once again" text Cody to ask if they were ever coming back to finish and got no reply. After 3 days with no reply I had to call the upper management and complain. They apologized again and got somebody out there the same day to finish. I paid over $8,000 and feel like a made a big mistake using Kram Roofing. I'm usually not one to even bother leaving a review let alone a bad one.
But even after making a huge mistake "which I caught" and having to start all over they still were very unprofessional. I just don't want the same to happen to somebody else. Be very careful if you use these guys for any work. Make sure you check that they are doing what they are supposed to be doing all along the way. They will most definitely rush and not do very critical steps of processes if they are not being watched. Overall they are unprofessional. I feel they can not be trusted and have very poor communication. " "Customer Please Beware"

Kram installed a new roof on my home and it continued to leak every year throughout the five year warranty period. Some of their patches worked, some didn't. The last time I had them come out it took them 3 months to get here. They dropped the ball so many times. They were incredibly unprofessional and the quality of their workmanship was dismal. My roof continued to leak while still within the warranty period but I stopped calling them - it was a waste of my time, frustrating to have them not show up when they said they would and they simply couldn't seem to ever actually fix my roof.

Received quotes from multiple companies, but Cody at K-Ram stood out as someone who seemed to truly care about what I needed instead and work with me on schedule and ensure I was happy with everything. The crew showed up on-time and worked extremely hard. I'm very happy with the job they did and would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a good value and great company to work with.

Here's the short and sweet of my experience with KRAM. Started off well. They were quick to respond to my request for an estimate, the estimate was fair, and ultimately, they charged me the exact amount in the estimate. That is the only reason they didn't get one star. Roof was put on in January, 2016. Within a year, the roof leaked in the same place as the original.
I contacted them and Gilbert came out and quick fixed the problem canale, with no regard to the damage inside the house, despite multiple pleas. (I had saved the remaining discontinued ceiling tiles for after the roof was replaced, because.you'd think you wouldn't have a problem with a roof leak again, right!?! Nope.stuck with having to replace all of them because KRAM couldn't seal the canales correctly the first time.) Now fast forward to today: July 2020.
No problems since the leak in 2017, but I've also been on top of sealing the canales, especially if cracked. I called them yesterday to see if they would transfer the remaining 6 months of the 5-year warranty. The nice woman on the phone can't tell me.she says that Gilbert has to come out and look at the roof. She says it needs to have had maintenance.
No problem, I think. I've been on that just like Gilbert told me to when he came out in 2017. So Gilbert comes out and says he won't honor the warranty for the new home owners, because.get this.the canales haven't been maintained by KRAM. They recommend getting maintenance done every 2 years, and that hasn't been done he says. Out of curiosity I asked him how much that would cost to get that maintenance and ultimately get the warranty transferred to the new owners. $850 he tells me!?! (Keep in mind the can of roofing adhesive needed to seal those canales costs about $20) While it is in the fine print of the warranty that the roof needs maintenance to be warrantied, there was no mention of the requirement of having them do it. This is definitely NOT a business I would recommend. Really poor experience.

Having your roof replaced can be a frightening experience. Gilbert & Cody made it painless. From the initial estimate, to the quality work performed to the clean-up, I was amazed at how professional and speedy the whole project was. They even facilitated my swamp cooler replacement. These guys are the best. If I could give them 10 stars i would!

Cody is always available for me as Realtor to inspect roofs. He provides timely estimates for roof repairs, maintenance and replacements. As many people know in NM it is hard to get anyone to answer their phone and come out quickly to assess anything. The work he has done has been satisfactory to all parties involved. I would highly recommend without hesitation.

Couldn't keep to schedule - inconsiderate at best. Made an appointment for a Saturday estimate. Called FIVE MINUTES before appointment time, said he was running "40 minutes late at least." Then asked "do you still want to meet?" When we made the appointment, the time was his request, and he knew I had to rearrange my schedule to accommodate. Then cancels last minute? Asks "do you still want to meet?" I cancelled - can't imagine this lack of reliability and inconsiderate behavior for an estimate. What happens if hired?

This company is extremely unprofessional, unethical and careless. We had them do some basic roof maintenance at our house, and immediately after they finished rebuilding a box around a skylight, we discovered we had no power to a section of the house. I notified the salesman/foreman immediately and he came by and eyeballed the problem and said there was nothing he could do because "he's not an electrician." After days of exploratory and repair work by an electrician (and hundreds of dollars at our expense), which also was a huge inconvenience as it required me to take off more time from work, it was clear that the crew had cut an electrical line while on the roof.
I notified K-Ram and asked for reimbursement. Rocky, who I had worked with from the start, assured me he would talk with Gilbert, the owner, about making us whole. That didn't happen. Instead, Rocky directly contacted our electrician and told him he didn't think the crew was at fault. He then proceeded to schedule a meeting at our home without us present with the electrician, basically so he could go through the motions and refuse to pay.
I called Rocky and told him I needed to be present for the meeting at which time he told me he had decided his crew wasn't at fault and that he's just a salesman who shouldn't have to handle this. He complained that we and Gilbert had put him in this position and said it's not his company and he can't make these decisions.
When I told him I didn't want to meet if they weren't acting in good faith to right the wrong, he said I had my answer and he was done with the situation. I won't use this company again of course and recommend others avoid them at all costs!

I checked them on Angie's list to see their rating. My friend had also used them, and she gave me good feedback about them. I had an excellent experience with them. They were very punctual and incredibly clean. The way they cleaned up after the job was incredible. They were very nice, and I have not had any leaks so far. They had competitive rates, and they were willing to work with me.

A very frustrating experience. Had a few leaks inside my garage. After a lot of research and reading reviews I chose K-ram. A roofing specialist came out quite quickly and recommended patching the gutters and the quote was reasonably priced. I agreed to it and he said they would call in a few days to schedule the repair. (He also mentioned my roof looked old and I should consider replacing it.) Long story short they supposedly showed up about a week later and fixed it without a call and without informing me.
I had no idea it had been done (but I was curious why there was a box cutter in the dirt on the side of my garage) until he showed up early one morning to get paid. At first I thought it was nice that it happened so seamlessly but then it rained and my garage leaked again but this time in only 3 of the 4 locations. I called them and after the second or third call the specialist returned for about 2 minutes and said he would fix the rest no charge.
A week or so later I had the feeling it had not been repaired yet so I went on the roof to inspect and found a mess. Trash remnants and a minimal patch job in one spot that I could have done myself. I have since called several times and each time I am told they will come out "this week" and fix it but that hasn't happened. After this experience I wont be choosing them to replace my roof when the time comes. I had such high hopes for them and I hate to leave a bad review for a local company but my frustration prevails.

First. Showed up late to give estimate on roof leak. Second. Said he would be back the following day to look again with another employee and would call me with the estimate. No calls. Third. I called couple days later and was told he would drop off the estimate. Did not drop off the estimate. Fourth. The following week I called back and was told they would email or fax my estimate. Still waiting. Worst Customer Service Ever.

Our roof was 25 years old and beginning to leak. The owner of K-Ram was professional and punctual, and quoted us a great estimate. The crew was also punctual, hard-working, and professional. They were as non-intrusive as possible, and did a great job of cleaning up everyday. It took only 2 days for the main house and also a small house in the back.

Owner of company responded to call about a leak from the roof (this company completely replaced our bitumen roof with a tar and gravel roof in 2006). He responded personally and quickly, and determined likely source was a plugged roof drain. He came back with a crew, resealed the drain and, additionally, performed necessary maintenance on the entire roof.
