We offer several types of insulation including fiberglass, cellulose, and spray foam for a variety of insulation projects. Whether you want to make your home more comfortable or reduce your office's utility costs, Miller's expertise since 1985 can help. During the summer and winter months, there is an exchange of heat flow from areas of warmth to areas of coolness.
Because of this, your home's heating and cooling systems must work harder than usual to maintain an adequate temperature throughout the house. To reduce the hardship and increased energy costs, we recommend the addition of insulation for your home's walls, attic, basement, and floors.

Fireproofing
Report
Increasing numbers of contractors are seeing the benefits of passive fire protection over active protection - sprinkler systems - when constructing a new building. Spray-applied fireproofing systems are always ready to protect the building's structure and the lives held within. Life safety plays an important role in the design of commercial buildings in today's modern construction.
Commercial
Report
Whether you are building an office building or school, hospital or convention center, you are probably going to need professional commercial insulation specialists. At Miller's Insulation, we provide a wide array of services for contractors including: insulation, fireproofing, sealing, and fire-stopping.
Adding Insulation
Report
When correctly installed with air sealing, each type of insulation can deliver comfort and lower energy bills during the hottest and coldest times of the year. Insulation performance is measured by R-value - its ability to resist heat flow. Higher R-values mean more insulating power. Different R-values are recommended for walls, attics, basements and crawlspaces.

We are extremely pleased with the service we received from Millers. Paul Schultz was a breath of fresh air, he is very professional and very knowledgeable. He explained every detail to us so we could make the right decision for our pocket book and our home. The team that came to install insulation in our attic were polite and got right on it. Before the job was totally completed a team lead came by to inspect the work.
Once complete I went up for my own inspection GREAT JOB! Our house is so much warmer now. Our experience with this company was top notch. We will recommend this company to anyone who needs there service.

Last year January 2020 we had Paul S. come out and give an estimate to blow insulation in the walls and do the attic over the living areas. We arranged to have them come out March of 2020 and do the work. The house was always so cold and drafty in the winter. Oh my goodness, I wish we had this done sooner (been here since 1993). It stayed warm and toasty and cut down on the outside noise.
It's wonderful! We had Paul S. come out today and give an estimate on blowing insulation over our garage. Paul knows what he is doing. It's a pleasure doing business with him along with the great job they do.

Critical: Professionalism I am not going to hire them. Their prices three time higher than others. Paul came to give me a quote and did not even ask what needs to be done. We were planning to do insulation in one room only instead he started measuring my house and kept saying that he knows what he is doing. I consider his behavior very RUDE!

Use anyone else for insulation but, if you must, make sure you inspect the job before paying. On Feb 3 I employed Miller's to install insulation under my house via a crawl space access. The crew was over 1.5 hours late to begin the work and no one from Miller's came to inspect the job. That evening I noticed my heating system making a strange noise; every time the furnace would shut off there was this loud clatter in the ducts.
On February 11 I had a plumber come to my house for a separate project for which crawl space access was needed. My plumber notified me that my heating duct work was dismantled and laying on the ground beneath the house (pictures attached). I also came to find out that the down-draft vent in my furnace closet had been completely obscured by insulation and there was concern expressed over the lack of strapping to hold the insulation in place.
When I contacted Millers my sales rep, Paul, initially tried to argue that they were not responsible for the damage, however, Paul finally acquiesced and sent out an HVAC company the same day to repair the damage done to my property and the down-draft vent was cleared. I was told by Paul that someone would be coming around to inspect the project. Meanwhile, I received the bill and heard nothing further from Millers.
I finally contacted Paul on Feb 25 to have the job inspected so that I could pay the bill. A crew was sent out on March 3. When Paul arrived at my home I answered the doorbell, Paul opened the screen door and walked straight into my house with another man I'd never met and who was not introduced to me. As these two men walked past me through my house Paul briefly explained that they had to look at the vent in the furnace closet.
After showing them to the backyard crawl space access I returned inside and locked the door, which I am grateful for because later Paul tried to come in without knocking to talk about their inspection. Ultimately, the inspection claimed that proper tension strapping had been installed but they elected to install more, per my concerns and, what was intimated to be, a kindness extended to me.
I expressed my concerns over the quality of the job, the damage to my property, and the poor response time in getting the final inspection completed. It was explained to me that they are very busy and that my crawl space is small so the job was difficult, but ultimately a 50% reduction in the final bill was agreed to in order to "make me feel better". I wish that I had asked for 100% reduction.

I wish I could give zero stars for the worst customer service received by Mr. John Jelso who is the estimator. He is condensing, rude and above all he is so arrogant and belittling. If you are looking for good customer service from him then I suggest you not go to him. I do commend the owners for calling me back and sincerely apologizing for his actions.
Never in my have I ever dealt with a person that must hate his job so much that he takes out his aggression on a customer. I won't go into details but can tell you that no human being should be treated this way.

Miller's Insulation is THE company to use! Paul Schultz is my representative, and his knowledge, experience, reliability and fair pricing through the years is formidable! I own a small high-end remodeling company in the Albuquerque area, and we ONLY have Miller's Insulation work on our jobs. All the teams are fast, efficient, and thorough. They show up on time, complete without surprises, and even clean up after! And, I'm not the only contractor that uses Miller's exclusively. I typically request scheduling 2-4 weeks in advance to anticipate their continual backlog of work.

We had Millers insulate our ceilings and walls with blow-in fiberglass. Paul is extremely knowledgeable in insulation and has been friendly and professional. The Millers crew performed the insulation in one day as promised and I can definitely feel an improvement. We have had 95 degree days and the house still doesn't get over 77 degrees without AC. If we ever re-insulate our garage, I will definitely call Millers.

I was having an issue with cold air coming into my house from the garage. I thought I had an insulation issue. Paul came out with his insulation sensor wand and showed me my walls were insulated. I had a design issue on my home that was allowing cold air to come in. I appreciated his honesty for not allowing me to spend money on more insulation which would not have solved my problem. Thanks Paul!
