Empire Floors just completed our kitchen floor: refinished & re-stained our existing hardwood, and we are extremely satisfied with their work. Ray was our contact person; he was very responsive to all phone calls/emails. He made follow up phone calls and answered our questions timely. He even came back to move the fridge back to its location. Jorge did the actual floor refinishing, and he did a fantastic job. Customer Service is excellent. It is so wonderful to walk in and get the help immediately. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, they listen carefully to what your needs are and are able to guide you to the necessary inventory that will work for your needs and budget. They are very quick to respond to questions or issues. I am so pleased with my experience at Empire. The installers were outstanding, professional, hard working and very respectful. I am so grateful.

The service lady came to my house. It was very unpleasant as she gave me one price but I was told a cheaper price over the phone. I was on the phone with customer service when she was at my home and had him on speaker. She started to get very mouthy with me in MY HOME and he had to tell her she was WRONG! 2 years later here I am wondering how to fix my carpet bc it has 2 wrinkles in the front room now. Limited warranty doesn't cover that after 1 year.

The owner John is great. He really has great customer service. When I had a concern about the edges of the real hardwood floors we had refinished, he came right over and looked at and assured me it was normal. It just looked to me like the edges didn't completely get the stain. But I'm very happy with Empire Floors! They made our hardwood floors look flawless and updated.

Love the color I chose. Which is aged barrel. It's goes with our "San Francisco Fog" accent wall so well; literally obsessed! Our home has a modern feel now and the quality of the finish was well worth the 2,400$! If your looking for a great flooring company, look no more, GO HERE! Trust me you'll be happy you did. And I really only write positive reviews. Very seldom do I put a negative review unless the customer services are lacking or disrespectful. See before and after photos belowturned out so pretty!

We engaged Empire to refurbish the hardwood floors on first floor through out the house that were damaged during the fires in fall 2019. They sent out a representative to prepare an estimate within one day and were able to get in very quickly to do the work after their representative sent out the fee estimate. The work was completed on schedule and they did a great job. We would use Empire again without question and recommend them to anyone needing work done on hardwood floors.

I used Empire for new carpeting. This was pre Covid. They were prompt and professional and did a great job. I would definitely use them again.

Rude sales person. I'll never recommend or do business with this company. All I wanted was a written estimate to fix some floors and he essentially didn't want to give me estimate. only if I came in store and bought the flooring. I wish there was negative stars because I'd give them that. F%#^ this place. HORRIBLE! Call Floors FX or somebody else!

Quite possibly the worst customer experience I have ever had. The one guy working the empty store laughed at my wife when they started talking about our budget and pricing options. There are several other stores in very close proximity with better prices, more competent employees, and a better customer experience. This guy just walked $15000 of business out the door because of his attitude. I can't help but wonder how often this happens and how much business he costs the owners.

I called Empire to try and match a floor color and style from a manufacturer that they sell. Was told by woman answering the phone that both estimators were busy and that someone would call me back within the hour. I gave her the particulars for the floor. 1.5 weeks later, no callback.

Bad overall service. No accountability or follow up from their end. As the customer, I felt like I had to act as the sales person as well throughout the entire process. very ironic as there are far too many companies in Santa Rosa that would love the business. Ultimately, we took our $25k+ hardwood job elsewhere

Ray Cataldo and Empire Floors are the best in the business! Our floors look brand new! Ray walked us through the whole process and even came by during the install to make sure everything was going as planned. The install team (Gregorio and Alfonso I believe) was friendly and professional. They worked really hard and arrived on time. We couldn't be more pleased with the results and highly recommend Ray and the Empire team to anyone looking to refresh or install new flooring!

On recommendation from friends we went to Empire Floors on Piner Rd. For our needs, the sales person suggested LVT which stands for Luxury Vinyl Tile. There were many marble and granite patterns we liked and the difference between our old floor and the LVT was how real it looked. We had a wonderful installer, Paul, who did a great job and was very pleasant and cheerful.

We are so happy with the service from Empire Floors as everyone was so nice. When our salesperson was not in, another one was happy to help, the whole store cared which was a great feeling.

One newly installed floor and several rooms of refinished wood floors look beautiful. It all went smoothly.

Great service from the beginning, there was an issue with their supplier who delivered two different color woods for our stairs conversion, Josh and Team were quick to come up with a solution and offered their service to sand and stain one of the woods. Install was done by me but as a supplier they were great!

Best flooring store around! Al provided amazing service, as did the store management. they were able to help us the same day! Amazing example of caring for your customers, good job!

My partner and I tried to look into getting new carpet for our home. Apparently we don't look like we have a home of our own to carpet. The gentleman working had no interest in helping us, even after I explained that we don't even know where to start, since we've never bought carpet before. We'll seek help elsewhere. Thanks for nothing.

Ray Cataldo was fantastic at helping us with Shaw Classic Regal Oak Laminate flooring and Shaw Soft Shadow carpet and pad in the bedrooms. The Laminate flooring looks fantastic as does the baseboards. The carpet pad is nice and thick and is a joy to walk on. The service and workmanship that we got was over the top. SHOP LOCAL!

We have been shopping for a hardwood floor since July. Everyone at Empire Floors has been so helpful. We felt bad we kept coming in and checking out samples as we couldn't make up our minds. They told us to think of their showroom as a library. Finally we decided on a hickory floor which was the first one we looked at but every time we walked in the store everyone smiled and was glad to see us.

They would say "take your time, it is an important decision." The floor turned out perfect. We felt like we got to know everyone including the installers who were so thoughtful. Everyone who comes over can't believe how much larger our house looks now. We are very happy.

Came in last Sunday to look at Vinyl planking. Just bought a new house and want to replace every room with this type of flooring. At first I felt overwhelmed as they do have a huge variety of flooring. I was helped by Jon. Wow he was great. Funny, knowledgeable and so helpful. Other customers were coming in and he would help them but always came back to me to see how things were going. Ended up leaving with some samples that he recommended taking home Thank you Jon!

Went to Empire Floors after shopping around at several different stores. What was different at Empire was the education that I received. We came in looking for oak wood floors and had no idea how many different types of wood there was. Their showroom is like a gallery of wood and you can take anything you want home to see how it looks in your own house.

Because of the knowledge and information we got, we switched from Oak to Hickory after learning about the the different hardness ratings of wood. The hickory floors were installed and look amazing. We have gotten so many compliments from family and friends. It has completely changed the look of our home and has such a warm glow. I would highly recommend Empire Floors if you need your floors done or were like me and in need of some guidance.

Several years back Empire Floors put in our hardwood floors. We were very pleased. When we recently bought new furniture we thought we might change the color of our golden oak floors to a darker stain. Empire came out and sanded down our floors and then did several stain samples on the floor. The floors turned out so beautiful. The guys were really friendly and courteous.

They put up plastic and kept dust to a minimum. Our salesman Jon has always taken time explaining things and has been real helpful. They have also put in our carpets and advised us which carpets would do better with our pets. Very happy.

I cannot adequately describe our satisfaction with Empire Flooring and how amazing our floors look. We were especially grateful to work with Jon Rapollo. He was calm, approachable, funny and extremely patient. Jon also saved us thousands of dollars when he recommended we keep and refinish our hard wood floors instead of installing engineered flooring.

Good thing, too, because we ended up with STUNNING red oak floors throughout the home. Everyone who sees these floors are bowled over at their beauty and the difference Empire made from dingy to beyond spectacular. Empire Flooring crew was THE BEST - extremely efficient, clean, quick, knowledgeable, and respectful. They took great pride in their work and didn't get so much as a nick on any walls. Jon even gave us a free cleaning kit to keep our floors gleaming for years to come. Empire Flooring was without a doubt one of the best remodeling experiences we've ever had and we are excited to use them for my mom's house this summer. I promise you will not be disappointed if you allow Empire to show you how beautiful your home could truly be!

The floors are beautiful! We love them! I can't wait to see everything back in place on the new hardwood. Thank you for the smaller carpets too. I made a phone call for a quote and was told I would get a call back, never received one. Went into the store. The help and knowledge was wildly mediocre at best but I read reviews that this was a good company so I still scheduled an appraisal. A guy comes out to my house and once again was not the most knowledgeable person nor helpful with questions.

After he was done he gave me a card and said he would give me a call that day or the next. Never received a call. Over two weeks later I received an email asking if I had made a decision. They might be good at laying floors (I wouldn't know, we never got that far) but terrible customer service and punctuality. I would recommend elsewhere.

We went with Empire Floors because of their quick response time and affordable price on sanding our main floor. We actually found an old sales receipt from them when we first moved into the home (13 years ago), and the price at that time was pretty close to what we just paid in July 2016. Some minor negative points had to do with the job completion; lots of sanding dust and some areas where tape wasn't removed from the baseboards. They did a great job of fixing some cracks in between planks of wood and the finish was very nice. Attractive to potential buyers.

Ray did a great job helping us with our new floor covering. We had a water leak that spread through a large portion of our home. We needed to coordinate flooring with existing flooring and wall colors. Ray was very helpful sending us in the right direction. His expertise was evident from start to finish. We are totally happy with our new floor and would recommend Empire to anyone.

We used Empire a few years ago and called them back to do a larger job. The crew showed up on time and finished the job a day early. More importantly they did a great job on the dust control and clean up. They were not the lowest bid but we would use them again. Floors look great

Jeanette Beaubier you are amazing! After having an awful experience with a San Rafael Carpet co., I needed to have my carpet redone. Jeanette went above and beyond to help me. She was super professional and answered all my questions. Empire floors did an amazing job of removing the old carpet and installing the new. It was a low pile pattern, and every corner of the carpet is aligned perfectly. I love when I find a place with this rare kind of customer service. I will definitly use Empire again and recommend then to all my friends. 5 Stars!
