Don't trust just any company with your pool repairs. In Florida it is state law that a company must have a Certified Pool Contractor's License to perform any repairs. Hiring an unlicensed or uninsured company to perform your pool repairs could result in thousands of dollars in damage to your equipment or medical liabilities due to injury.

Avoid at all costs claims he has been in the industry 18 years but acts like he just wants your money and couldn't care less about anything else terrible work ethic terrible attitude I would hire this company to ha dale my worst enemies pool contacting bbb as well if your looking for a pool company I hope this review saves you from this mess of a company

I recommend to stay away from this company if you don't want your pool to turn green like mine. When I confronted Roger about my pool turning green, he claimed that his pool guy made a mistake and has not been servicing my pool for few weeks (which I was paying for). That was a clear lie because I had their service cards and I did show it to him. Also, they replaced the Display Board on my pool system with a wrong part.
When I called Rodger and notified him that their employee replaced the board, he simply denied and hung up the phone. It cost me over $1,000 to get the correct part. I think that is the definition of stealing. Roger is liar and dishonest business man. His personnel changes frequently, they lie about their service and deliver poor quality work. If you want your pool to stay clean and nothing gets stolen from your pool system, then I recommend to look for another company.

Our pool filter system was old and constantly leaking. Called Roger of My Pool Man and he sent someone out the next day. They recommended we get a new filter holder due to the old one not functioning properly and also because it was not sufficient for the size of our pool. Knowing these things can easily run for $800 and higher, we were kinda nervous. Roger gave us a great low price and had a new one installed the following day. thank you for everything.

I've used several "highly rated" pool repair companies and have had dismal experiences. But MyPoolMan has been a great experience so I'm surprised to see many negative reviews here. Communication was very fast: I was texting with MyPoolMan and when I was ready to take a call, they called within a minute of me saying so. Assessment of Repairs was next day: This impressed me the most.
After explaining my issues, they showed up the next day to do assess the system. Rodger was very polite, knowledgeable, and understanding and showed me fixes and tricks on the spot. I liked this because with other companies you can get an engineer who isn't polite or isn't willing to explain. The assessment was free, which is not my experience with other companies. Repairs were competitively priced: My pool had many issues wrong with it from leaking pumps/valves, past-due maintenance, and "hacks" left by previous engineers who couldn't figure out its problems.
When Rodger estimated the costs, I was very impressed with the value. The actual bill came in higher but extra things were needed and it was still more affordable than lesser work I've had done by other companies. The repairs happened THE NEXT DAY after the Assessment. One tiny detail that emphasizes the quality of service: I had to run a lawn hose into the pool to fill it back up to level and lazily left it in the pool.
When the engineers came to work on the pump, they coiled up the hose and placed it neatly to the side of the house. That little unnecessary action made me take notice of their superior customer service. They even spent time scrubbing the spa which was littered with debris because of recent storms, even though they were here to do repairs and not cleaning. I've used the highest rated pool repair companies in the Orlando area and they've all been poor experiences while MyPoolMan was by far the best.

This company replaced our pool system to Salt system last week of March. We have had bad readings on the panel since the first week and we never know if the salt level is fine or not. They have come out to try to fix it a couple of times but it goes back to poor readings and the check cell lights low salt on permanently. I have been trying to get Roger to help me file a Claim with the Warranty and he ignores my texts, calls and VoiceMails. I have 2 girls that use the pool on daily basis and I feel it is unacceptable that I can't get any help to get the system replaced by the warranty.

My Pool Man (Roger Dubois) and his team have been servicing my pool for the past seven plus years. They are consistent in their service as well as professional in the manner with which they provide us with weekly service. They are professional and knowledgeable and have provided excellent consultation with respect to equipment and all things related to the pool, chemicals and pumps.

Roger and his crew have been taking care of our pool for 3 years. We actually sold our previous house, moved to a new house, and continued our My Pool Man service. They are always prompt and leave a note about what services were completed at each visit. If anything is going on with the pool equipment, they quickly address it and charge a reasonable rate. I'm surprised to see negative reviews on here, hence my review!

I wish I could give this zero stars. He came out for an estimate, said $250. No big deal, but we called a week later to tell him we'd be using his service, he said he'd call us back. A week later, still no call. I call again and tell him we'd like to use his service. He says to text him. Yes. Text him. And he'd put us down for service. 3 weeks and he never even showed up!
