Bowles pools did a fantastic job helping us turn our back yard into our Florida paradise. I highly recommend them and know you will feel the same way. Craig and Victoria are both a pleasure to work with and very attentive to your needs. Services: Inground pool installation, Custom Swimming pool design

We had the most amazing experience with Bowles. Daryl especially was super patient while we decided what we were going to do and when we were going to be able to do it. He listened to me with my crayon design, and brought it to life. The quality and workmanship are above board and the contractor were extremely nice and pleasant. Every person who came to our property we knew what they were doing. Victoria and Patty in the office kept us up to date on timing and expectations and at no time did I feel like I was bothering them when I had a question. Everything came out better than I thought and we are so happy that we decided on Bowles. I would refer them to anyone looking to build a pool.

We could write up a laundry list of the problems that we experienced from Bowles' lack of project management to include, but not limited to, not following the agreed upon design, the timeframe being tripled what we were told, the damages to our property, and the nonexistent communication. I never even met our "project manager" over the course of 6 months.
To my knowledge, he came to our property a total of 3 or 4 times. Instead, I will focus on one specific experience with the owner, Mr. Bowles. His team built the walkway from the pool deck to our detached garage too steep, which prevented our hinged garage door from opening more than 8". This obvious error, when shown to Mr Bowles, was defended with a condescending tone and downright disprespect.
What I then realized is that it is obvious that Mr. Bowles attempts to prey on consumers with the hope that they can be tricked into paying additional money for Bowles Pool's mistakes. Despite all of the project's troubles, what's most concerning is the lack of an integrity at this company.

I really wish I was giving a 5 star instead of a 1. We have had a nightmare experience with this company. Everything seemed good until we signed the contract. If you do choose Bowles-document everything. They do not follow through on their word and still demand money. They also do not disclose extra expenses you will incur that other pool companies pay for and handle.
They were not our cheapest bid, but we thought by paying more we would have a better experience and quality. This, unfortunately, was not the case. Overall, I believe any construction project will have delays and challenges. It's the nature of the Industry. Perfection was not my expectation- but good supervision, realistic communication, and follow through on things that were told to us- were my expectation. Unfortunately, Bowles doesn't have any of those.
Here are some examples of challenges we encountered. Sorry for the length, but when you are spending mega bucks on a huge project, I wanted to give as clear a picture as possible! -quoted 10-12 weeks for construction- it's been nearly 24 weeks since breaking ground (10 months since first call) and items are still outstanding -poor supervision of construction; I was continuously sending feedback in of things needing to be fixed instead of the project manager; he didn't follow through on multiple items which delayed project and caused me added work as customer; the office admin ended up communicating with me more than PM.
There is a huge disconnect with the info she has and what's actually happening in the field. So a lot of things fall through the crack. -when you do have a concern the office staff has very vague "feel good" customer service lines they will say repeatedly to you but nothing ever changes -subcontractors damaged several areas of our property; some were fixed by Bowles, others I had to do myself; Mr Bowles himself tried to make us pay to have one major error corrected. Apparently, The poor culture and deceit starts with the owner himself. -despite outstanding damaged issues on my property they would not finish the pool until I paid all $$ owed.
They wouldn't even put in writing they would fix them prior to paying, which they still haven't. -They will also refuse to put a project completion date in writing. Once the 12 weeks passed I asked for it in writing and they just "beat around the bush" and would never commit. I was told "2-3 more weeks" for months! -most construction projects have a punch list walkthrough with builder and customer, esp at this price point-they do not offer this.
We haven't seen the PM in months, literally. -designer included features on 3D image as well as construction plan, but later backed out and said it wasn't included and we were required to pay another company to finish it, very misleading! Poor leadership, communication, and project manager execution are at the root of this companies issues. I hope they can correct this to prevent other customers from experiencing what we did. Hopefully, we can start making fun memories in our pool to erase the nightmare that it was to install! Good luck!

I am a first time pool owner. I choose Bowles based on a few factors. 1. They are a locally owned family company. 2. I personally work in construction and a few colleagues have had personal experiences with Ken (the owner) 3. The reviews. Let me tell you what an amazing experience this has been from beginning to almost end! Paul (my salesman) was wonderful from the beginning he met me at my home within one day of my initial call, he gathered the necessary information and got an idea of the design I was interested in.
Within a couple of days Paul called me and let me know the design was ready for me to come in and review. I attached a picture and it was exactly what I was looking for. I went in to their office during the first week of March (please note construction takes 10-12 weeks from approved permit) I was hoping and asking for possible completion before the 4th of July. Bowles beat that by almost 3 full weeks.
The communication with this company specifically Victoria who was my "inside rep" was absolutely amazing. I was informed of every step along the way. I am so very happy with this entire experience and my POOL! It is beautiful and everything I had ever dreamed of. Thank you Bowles Custom Pools & Spas! - Nicole L

ABSOLUTE PERFECTION! From the moment we started working with Bowles Pools we know we were in good hands. We had many friends who had gotten pools recently and did our homework. Once we met with Daryl we instantly knew that it was a perfect fit. The pool design was perfect and EXACTLY what I had envisioned. The quality of the materials and the professionalism of their team (Larry) was always top notch.
We love the look of travertine and are SO glad we ended up going that way because it really makes a statement. Our little oasis is more than we expected and we are thrilled with our whole experience with Bowles. THEY ARE AWESOME!

I have already shared my experience and a business card with a new neighbor. I had a wonderful experience working with the crew at Bowles. They were professional, timely, and communicated with me every step of the way and even offer assistance after the job is done. I have received so many compliments from passer-byers and neighbors.

This could not have been a better experience. The Bowles Family built us the most beautiful pool ever. He (Daryl) gave us a 10-12 week time frame for completion but he had us swimming in 9 1/2 weeks. Sub contractors were always very nice and did amazing detail work on our pool. The job site was kept clean and they always communicated any delays which were very few as you can tell by how fast we were done.
I promise you will not be disappointed. My pool is gorgeous and everyone that sees it says it is one of the nicest pools they have seen in a long time. On top of all that the Bowles family are the nicest people you will ever work with. If you have any issue at all they give you 0 attitude about it and get it fixed the way you want it. Cannot go wrong with this family!
