There are not enough positive words to describe our experience with Jack and his team, but honesty, quality, and class are at the top of the list. They were prompt, efficient, their work was nothing short of exemplary, and Jack's team left our property cleaner than it was when they arrived. We received our quote on a Friday and the project was completed by the following Friday. Jack was involved in the project through its completion and repeatedly contacted us to ensure that the work was progressing in accordance with our expectations.

Perhaps the best illustration of the care and concern they bring to their work was that his team removed a Blue Jay nest from one of our old downspouts, installed the new downspout, and then replaced the nest so as to not disturb the chick in that nest. If you need to have work done on your roof or gutters, do yourself a favor and contact Jack - I am confident that you will be glad you did!

We had five estimates for a composite cool roof, and although Straight Line Construction was one of the two highest bids, we chose them as it was a more thorough bid, longer warranty and included more of what we wanted. Jack listened to our need to reduce heat loads and offered excellent recommendations. The crews were very professional, polite and did great work.

The old roof and some facia had a lot of dry rot caused by a leaky rooftop solar pool heater and the carpentry folks made the visible parts look great. Jordan and Dave did the roof installation and worked great as a team and obviously took great pride in the quality of their work. Jordan was extremely patient answering my constant barrage of questions. The new roof looks great and was completed just in time for the first Sacramento heat wave. We are very happy with the finished product and the quality of their work

We had straight line roofing put a new roof on our house. I cannot say enough great things about this company! Their professionalism, customer service, and follow up are impeccable. We had to have them come back out to repair parts of the roof that had been damaged by a solar panel installment and they worked well with the solar company and the repairs we done quickly and professionally. Again, cannot say enough great things about this company. I would recommend this company to anyone who is going to install a new roof or to do repairs on an existing roof. They are simply the best!

From the first call with Cassandra to the estimate appointment with Sean to the project completion with Alex and crew this was a positive experience. Everyone I had contact with was professional and focused on what my project required. The finished product is a roof and gutters that look great and undoubtedly added curb appeal and value to the house.

We used Straight Line Construction for major roof repair of our tile roof. We are very satisfied with the excellent job they did. Communication throughout the process was very good. Every person we dealt with (the estimator, the office staff, the project coordinators, and the repair crew) was very friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and understanding of our concerns. The owner Jack came out to give me an estimate on our roof, and I was extremely impressed with him and the company. He called and text me, informing me of his departure and expected arrival time. He showed up on time and was very professional. This is the most inclusive I've ever felt during an estimate and Jack did a great job explaining each expense and alternatives for cheaper solutions. I had two roof leaks, so I called several businesses in the area to get quotes for repair. The first one to come out was professional, had some ideas to help me, but ultimately did not want to bid on the job. Then Jack from Straight Line came out- this guy is a real roofing expert! Super nice, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Jack took a detailed look at my issues, he even climbed up on the roof and did some patching for me while he was out.

Absolutely fantastic customer service, I would not hesitate to work with Straight Line if you've got any roofing issues. For my job, you couldn't beat their prices either. Scheduling/customer service was beyond expectations as well- I wish every company was as good as Straight Line.

Long queue time but worth the wait for quality service. Phil repositioned broken titles when he did the estimate so no water would penetrate the roof while in queue for repair. Second time I used Straight Line, so obviously I used them twice and would use them a 3rd time as a preferred contractor if needed again. Likely my most recent recent roof issue was the result of painters breaking tiles. but the house had to be painted and roof access was needed.

I called on a Thursday about a persistent leak, knowing there was a storm coming on Monday. Our first surprise was that someone could be here Saturday. I thought to myself "this is going to be expensive" as they answered the phone, and they're coming out quickly, on a Saturday no less. Jack, the owner, called 20 minutes past his scheduled arrival.

He apologized and said he was a half hour away. He inspected and found some possible issues. Second surprise, he fixed them on the spot. When showing what he did on his tablet, I told him I would get my checkbook, when we got the third and ultimate surprise. He said it would be no charge because he felt bad about being late. OMG - this is an attitude you just don't see any more. Because of this incredible service, Straight Line just earned a customer for life.

I am a foreman at Straight Line Construction, I have worked at a few different places over the years and I just would like to say that I love working for SLC. They take care of their good workers and really make it a pleasure to work for. Working for this company has given me something I can take pride in, I truly enjoy what I do and feel like it allows me to make a positive impact in peoples lives.

Jack came out to my house in Folsom to give me an estimate. Jack was very professional and was very good at explaining the issues with my roof. He even took the time to temporarily fix some areas (no charge) that I was having leaks since we are in the middle of winter. Overall great experience and would recommend him to anyone in the future.

I really wish I could give a better review here as everyone I dealt with was nice enough and was responsive when I reached out. This will be longer as I hope the business and future customers can learn from my experience. The job was repair for concrete tile roof with new gutters and dry rot repair as well. Timeline for job was initially said to be one week and project started 10/11.

After multiple delays, initial completion was the week of 11/1. After I took a visual inspection I noticed things were missed. Per my request, PM came out and agreed there was work to be done. Official completion ended up being not until 11/30. I get things come up, but expectations on timeline needed to be different here from the get go or else the customer feels like their project is on the back burner.

Beyond the delays, during the biggest storm we've had in years on 10/24, I was told I was 'water tight' only to find two leaks above my garage. Due to my attic layout I wasn't able to see if other areas by eaves specifically were leaking but very stressful situation to go through. Nobody can control the weather but it felt like if I didn't say anything, I would I have potentially been in worse shape.

This was a huge contributor to my review. In addition, there were multiple times I had to quality control on things that were missed. To add, in about 10 minutes, I picked up about 100 nails around my property that were dropped during the project. I get you can't get every nail, but in my opinion it's a small thing that shows a greater lack in attention to detail.

In summary, the customer shouldn't have to constantly be checking on status or quality of the work completed. I prompted a final quality inspection with the PM that led to additional work, otherwise it didn't seem like there was going to be one. There was one PM physically on the job and one in the background. The latter would communicate with me via phone or text.

These two PMs didn't seem to be on the same page for my job. Unfortunately at this point, can't say I have a lot of faith that everything was completed correctly. Overall disappointing/stressful experience, can't say I'd recommend to family/friends.

Jack came over to determine what was causing a water spot on my living room ceiling. He did a thorough job and took a video of the condition of the roof and what was likely the cause of the leak. He made the repair for me free of charge. Based on the video he provided and his knowledge and expertise, I asked him to provide me an estimate for a long term solution to my problem. He provided me a few different options with no pressure or up selling. I highly recommend their services!

Jack really goes above and beyond in his free consultation. He came to our recently purchased house to examine the roof due to several things pointed out by our home inspector. He listened to our concerns attentively, spent significant time answering every question and came up with options for us to consider under different scenarios. He is thorough and professional. He thinks for you and keeps your best interest in mind.

Although extremely busy, the owner came to my place to examine some roofing issues I was having the day after I called. He was very helpful in explaining all of my options and even did a minor repair for free to alleviate some immediate needs. He was honest, fair, and genuinely concerned about making sure I had my needs met - even went so far as calling a potential competitor company to see if they could assist.

I would highly recommend Straight Line. As an aside, the water remediation guy I called the day was the one that recommended Straight Line - he said there was no other roofer he trusted.
