Home Networks, Electric & Solar started out as a computer services and network cabling business in the South Bay Area with a C-7 low voltage classification. Because of the frequent requests for electrical services, we incorporated a C-10 electrical classification in early 2000. We integrated Smart Homes with our knowledge of technology and electrical.
As the economy tanked in late 2008, our customers were interested in energy efficient fixtures and alternative energy solutions. We then evolved to who we are today: Home Networks, Electric & Solar which holds a C-46 solar classification.

Obtained around 6 different quotes for a rather complicated installation of a NEMA 14-50 outlet in my garage (from an outside panel, through about 30' of attic to the garage) for an EV charger. Their quote was extremely competitive with the others but the people really made the decision for me. Everyone from the receptionist, to the office manager, to the owner and the installers gave 5 star service and were a pleasure to work with. The work looks great and I have no doubt will pass city inspection shortly (here in Las Vegas). Highly recommend.

I called around and spoke to various Tesla Powerwall installers. Randy by far was the most patience and knowledgeable when it came to the Powerwall technology and installation process. Once I decided to move forward, Randy's team was equally great! They were transparent, knowledgable and professional across the board. I would highly recommend Home Networks with your energy needs!

I contacted HNES and talked to Randy regarding powerwall installation and the used of the SGIP program. Randy was really knowledgeable and provided all answers to my questions. Unfortunately after Randy researched, I would not qualified the SGIP equity resiliency program. Thank you Randy and HNES team.

Just purchased a Tesla from a friend and had to make the difficult decision as to which electrician I should select to install my garage charger. My friend had used Home Networks, Electric & Solar to install his garage charger so I decided to call them too. Spoke to Randy Garcia, the owner, and he was professional and knowledgeable, explaining everything in non electrician terms.
What really made the experience a winner was Branden Dunn, the foreman. He was the primary guy doing my installation. He presented various options as to where the new plug should be installed. I could really tell that he was very experienced and confident. Everything Branden said about the set up made sense. He spent time explaining to my wife and I how to utilize our charger in the most efficient way, all the dos and don't's.
It was such a relief, getting the job done by an electrical contractor who was well versed with Tesla. I have absolutely no reservations in recommending Home Networks, and specifically Branden, to do your installs for your garage chargers.

We found Randy on Yelp and we hired him to change our electrical panel, install an electrical car charger and to wire our whole house for cable, internet and phone. Home network and electric is a one stop shop for both electrical, low voltage and internet installation. On the day of the work, the team showed up promptly on time. I was surprised to see 4 electricians!

Randy and company were the subcontractors on a solar installation for my home in the Belmont hills. They were all very professional and careful with my property and did their work quickly and efficiently. What's more, they were very friendly to me and my family. I would not hesitate to use them again on any project here at my home. They were an unbeatable team! -Greg O.
