My experiences? We now have solar panels on our house. As a note: this purchase started around Feb 2020. I am not happy with the electrical panel work. It is sloppy, amateur and unfinished. We will wind up hiring a professional electrican to redo the whole thing so it is at least more pleasing to the eye. There are plastic zip ties expose to full sun south side of house holding on to yards of copper ground wire to old conduit.
How long does ANYONE think that will last? We had some rewiring done that would require some kind of weather proofing connectors that are left wrapped in electrical tape only. These are the major wires going in/ out of house electrical panel on the roof, exposed to the elemnts. I inquired of the sales person about how we use electricty prior to buying solar and how our usage might change.
I was given an anwser that I thought at the time seemed to not make sense. I trusted the reply. So, of course now our bills have doubled. We were told our design was challenging, ;small house and trees, but there seemed to be no aesthetic to the installation. If it was such a challenge or could not met expectations I would have much rather had that anwser.
There are more specifics, however this would be a book No one will ask me "Who did your solar?" And if they did, I wouldn't recommend this company. It is such a shame to have this experience. This is new technology and people are excited about having this alternative. I want to use this renewablle energy but not with this company.

I really meant to give '0' star instead of the '1' here, but the Yelp review software did not let me to put '0' star, so I am giving '1' star here. I would not recommend SunHarvest Solar to anyone, if fact, when my friends, relatives, and neighbors asked me which Solar co. is recommended, I told them that they can go far any company except SunHarvest Solar.
When I had my solar system installed in 2014, the sales guy was my neighbor, and he took very good care of me, then unfortunately, after my neighbor moved to CA, then I had to deal with the owner Brandon by myself, or the receptionist who answered the phone did not know what she was doing most of the time. I do not want to write down all the things that I am not happy with SunHarvest here, but the one thing that upset me the most is the fact that after the panels were installed, there was water leak started happening in the bed room ceiling, so every time when there is a heavy rain, the leak happens (please refer to the picture), I had to pay Brandon to come up and do the diagnostics, and he found out it was the birds that built nests underneath the panels, and all the bird poop were clogging the drainage, therefore the water instead of flowing down along the roof tiles, it goes straight down to my bedroom.
I hired a pest control co. to clean the bird poops, then I paid SunHarvest to install some bird Critter Proofing, which is some nets to prevent the birds from going underneath the panels for activities, Brandon hired some contractors to do the work, and I painted the water mark on my bedroom ceiling, and I thought this nightmare was over! Guess what?
When it rains again, the leak happens again! I ended up climbed up to the roof by myself and checked it out, what I saw shocked me, please look at the attached pictures, the contractors from Brandon did a bad job on installing the nets, they left the big cracks and big holes under the panels, that is why birds are still able to go under the panels, it is basically the nets has been installed, but they are 'useless', if Brandon's contractors would have done a better job, the birds would've not have come back.
When I complaint to Brandon about this recently, his reply was very 'harsh' and not friendly at all, basically he stated that they don't offer warranty on pest proofing, and this is the pest control issue and not the solar panel issue, and I need to maintenance my house roof by myself. So instead of begging Brandon or fighting with him on this, I decided to share this stories in yelp here, so do yourself a favor, please do not pick SunHarvest Solar.
And please also read other reviews in the '# other reviews that are not currently recommended' section in Yelp, once you read them, you will know how other people describe Brandon.

We interviewed many providers and chose SunHarvest based on these interviews and extensive outside research. Frankly, we were not convinced that solar was the way to go. Nevertheless, we made the leap and my are we pleased. SunHarvest was quick and seamless on the install and kept us in the loop, even though we were away for the summer. The best part - electricity generated exceeds amount used, thus giving us negative bills. Knowing what we know now, we would not hesitate to give SunHarvest the highest recommendation!

Sun Harvest Solar OWNER Brandon Cheshire hired a sub NON licensed contractor to remove panels off of a roof. That is all fine HOWEVER THEY TOOK PANELS OFF OF THE WRONG ROOF! In process of doing so they removed TESLA panels WITHOUT the home owner's permission to even step foot on the property. They rang the doorbell no one answered so they removed the panels and DESTROYED the roof.
After trying to get this resolved with Brandon WHO ADMITTED THEY SCREWED UP wants to blame Tesla and wants us to go after Tesla. Brandon wrote me to say he would send a crew out only to repair the damage that his contractor did and wanted to CHARGE ME to do repairs. The roof needed to be completely replaced I had to file a claim with the homeowners insurance which Brandon is avoiding working with. This Company and the owner are not stand up people at all. DO THE RIGHT THING BRANDON!

Although all the employees were pleasant, and the scheduler did a great job, Brandon, the owner severely lacks courtesy and customer service. When his employees removed my panels for the roof to be replaced, they left my gate open and my dog got out. They did the job on Friday, my dog left the yard on Saturday and Brandon informed me that he didn't want to deal with this on a Saturday and it was my responsibility to watch over his workers and that I was not his client, Sunnova that I rent my panels from was his client, therefore he had no responsibility for making sure my dog was secure and the gate closed. After this experience, I wouldn't recommend Sun Harvest to work on a dog house.

The employees were all pleasant and know their job, but the owner, Brandon, severely lacks courtesy. The workers left my gate open and my dog got out. Brandon informed me that it was my and my 94 year old mother's responsibility to ride herd on his workers and, the job happened on Friday, he didn't want to be bothered on Saturday. Apparently, Brandon enjoys poor reviews. I will never use them again. Apparently, Yelp won't accept a one start rating, but that is all this company deserves.

Sun Harvest had installed our original system under contract to Salt River Solar, which are out of business now. I wanted to add some panels to the original system. Contacted Brandon and worked with him to evaluate our electric bills and size the additional panels. Also Brandon was knowledgeable on "grandfathering" in system, adding to it or installing a separate second system, very happy with his help and guidance.
Once the size and plan for the new separate system, Sun Harvest installed system efficiently with no issues. Typical delays in gettin APS to set the new meter, but it all worked fine. Had a couple questions on the new inverter operstion since the lights were little different from my old inverter, but Brandon answered all my questions! Good Company!

Brandon was great to work with. We had a large, complex solar install and ran into a few issues. Brandon was very responsive in addressing them with his team. We also had challenges with getting final APS connect approval even after APS approved all the engineering documentation and passed the onsite inspection. Brandon assisted with working with APS to get the final connection approval from them.

These guys a professional. They care deeply about sustainability and are virtual encyclopedias about ways to reduce the carbon foot print of our house. They helped me with things that made a substantial difference and not nice to have' at extra cost. I pay just a quarter for my winter APS bill than I did before. That's with much more day time use than before because we're now working from home!
We run the dishwasher and clothes dryer during the day when it's convenient instead of waiting until late in the evening. I plan to return to them for more sustainability service and highly recommend them. You'll enjoy a pleasant relationship and substantial savings.

SunHarvest Solar added on to my existing system. They sized my additional panels perfectly so that now I very rarely pay more than the basic monthly fee and I always make a little back each year. Brandon and his team were great to work with. The installer of my older system had gone out of business, so the SunHarvest team took the time to be sure that my older panels were also working their best. I highly recommend them and solar sure beats paying a high electric bill each month!

SunHarvest Solar's whole crew was professional, courtesy and thoughtful. They were fantastic at answering our questions, and were with us from the beginning of the project and beyond. We had some issues with our demand controller (not really their problem) and they were fantastic about making sure everything got resolved and the process was as painless as possible. Highly recommend for all your solar needs.

The installation went quick, from the time I spoke with them and the install was complete, and APS approved the project, was about 30 days. I have since added 5 more panels and that was done in one day. Service was GREAT and I'm enjoying my $32 a month APS bill (minimum charges). I highly recommend the company, they are fast, efficient and a pleasure to work with.

Workers came out to reinstall my solar panels. Got the job done but never cleaned panels off prior to reattaching. Guess that was not in the contact! It is a shame they did not go the extra step. "Not in their job description nor contract". I asked one worker to clean panels and they BLEW me off. The workers never notified me job was done--they just left. I had requested help in reading meter--that was not done. Guess that also was not listed in the contract to notify home owner when job is done.
