Van Martin Roofing

Jim Honious came out from Van Martin and gave us a quote. He is a very knowledgeable and easy to talk with person. After we agreed to use Van Martin, we had a major storm on a Saturday night, resulting in water leaking into out bedroom. I contacted Jim and he came out the next day (Sunday) and fixed the issue until the new roof was installed. The workers worked extremely hard in 95+ temperatures and installed the roof very quickly. They did a fabulous job! My experience with Van Martin was A+++.

We had our roof and skylights replaced by Van Martin. They were great to work with from beginning to the end. Mario and his crew performed spectacularly and when they were done our property was cleaned up so well, we didn't even find one nail. We had one thing we didn't like, black flashing against our light gray house. Brandon worked with us and the team replaced the flashing with a light gray that looked so much better. Hats off to Van Martin for an overall great job.

I had storm damage and called several companies. I chose Van Martin directly for their professionalism and direct communication through text, the price is decent as well. They were always in contact with me and kept me informed every step of the way. The work is excellent and I recommend them. Van Martin Roofing did a door and siding project for me last year and it has been great. But to go further, this past week, a piece of my gutter came off during the wind storms. I emailed Dustin to find out if they would quote a small job or if they knew a guy for this type of thing. So, the response I got from Dustin, well, was not what I expected.

Instead of a quote or phone number. He told me he would be in my area in the next couple of days and that he would just fix me up. 2 days later the gutter is good to go. That is what I call customer service. Thanks again Dustin.

We had our flat roof replaced and the crew was excellent! We are very pleased with their workmanship. We were also impressed with the communication and flexibility to fit our smaller job in between larger jobs as they watched the weather. Contacted Van Martin after noticing missing shingles from wind storm. Jim Honious handled all my needs dealing with claims adjuster and helping me choose the product that is perfect for my home. Brandon Archer was my project manager and kept me informed on when the work would be done. Everyone has been quick to respond to any messages or concerns that I have had. After receiving roof damage from a tornado I was put in contact with Jason Taylor. He was very knowledgeable and up front with what repairs need to be completed. He took care of contacting the insurance adjuster and worked very closely with them to insure all the necessary work was covered under my policy. If you are needing any repair or replacement work done Jason would be the person the contact.

We had some storm chaser come by and try to talk us into a claim. We DID NOT go with the storm chasers who said that we for sure had damage but instead reached out to Van Martin. Dustin Karl with Van Martin came out was very respectful and explained about storm chasers. They tell everyone they have issues in hopes that one or two will actually get approved.

And homeowners don't realize that a claim is a claim regardless if work needs to be done. The storm chasers don't care. Thanks to Dustin with Van Martin, we did not have any damage and do not need to place a claim. Dustin also fixed three small issues on our roof at no cost to extend the life of our roof and gave recommendations on when it will need to be replaced. Recommend Van Martin and specifically Dustin Karl to anyone in need of a new roof.

I needed new soffits on the front of my house and larger 6 gutters to handle all the rain and leaves. I chose Van Martin to do this work based on their reputation and BBB rating. Although the process took longer than I expected, the work was completed to my satisfaction and everything looks and works perfectly. Van Martin does take a personal intertest in you, so you can rest assured that the work done is of a high quality and will last for years.

Actually had a few clay tiles that broke off from the front of my building. Jason Taylor handled our account and was excellent in following through from start to finish. He had to jump through hoops to located singular clay tiles, but took excellent care of us, and communicated throughout the process. Would highly recommend! 5 star service!

Dustin came out as scheduled and on time. He listened to our concerns and after showing him the area of the leak he was able to quickly diagnose the problem and repair it. I really appreciated his honesty and professionalism. I would highly recommend Van Martin to anyone looking for a trustworthy company that puts the customer first.

Mathew J was great to work with! He was on time, very respectful, and answered all of my questions. Also it is worth mentioning that he was very honest. Honesty is often hard to find when dealing with contractors. I am very thankful that he didn't try to sell us products or services we didn't need. We will definitely be working with him in the future.

The crew did an excellent job removing the old and installing the new quickly & efficiently and the clean up was very thorough. There were some issues with the installation of the skylights but they were all resolved to our satisaction and the whole project was completed in less than a day. We are very pleased with the new roof and skylights.

Besides how long it took to get the gutters installed they look good and are doing the job. The installer was knowledgeable and did a good job. He did however, leave his drill and some screws behind. I'd use this company again. Service: Gutter installation

Everyone I've come in contact with has been knowledgeable, kind, professional. They fixed our roof after we got taken in by a storm chaser roofing company and we have had no more trouble with it! Dustin was just amazing! Fixed our gutters while we talked, made it feel like having coffee with a friend! And, we just met Jim who was also kind and efficient. Van Martin never disappoints!

Best roofers in Dayton. We had originally hired another company and that company resulted in our insurance claim being denied. Adam and Dustin, of Van Martin, went above and beyond. They went back and forth with the insurance adjusters several times and we received a brand new roof, fully paid for, by insurance.

An excellent, expert gutter/downspout/leaf barrier installation was begun this morning and professionally completed this afternoon at my home. Van Martin's initial representative for the free estimate was thorough, offered sensible observations and provided a comprehensive estimation along with warranty explanations.
