Schuon Kitchens & Baths

Schoun Kithchens and Baths remodeled my kitchen in the spring and summer of 2020. I would never have believed that I could finish a major remodel and be perfectly 100% happy with my contractor. From start to finish Hans Schuon was creative, patient and considerate. Our project manager, Tracy, was professional and very skilled. Hans and all of his people including the subcontrators were professional, respectful, and on time.

He designed and executed a kitchen that suits me exactly and he did it on time and for what I wanted to pay in spite of the fact that were were smack dab in the middle of the COVID mess. I was also very impressed with his honesty. At one point in the invoicing I was credited several thousand dollars for demolition work that was in the original bid but ultimately unneccessary.

I would never have known that we didn't need all that had been charged for demo. He could have kept that money and I would never have been the wiser. I don't think very many contractors would have done the same. After our kitchen was complete, we had a catastrophic material failure that was in no way the fault of Schuon Kitchens. Instead of leaving me to fight it out with the manufacturer, Hans Schoun intervened in on my behalf and got my problem solved. Working with all of them was really a pleasure. I wish I had another kitchen for them to renovate.!

The owner, Hans Schuon, is a wonderful designer and project manager who takes great care with every detail. We are extremely pleased with our new kitchen. Hans listened to my ideas and did not argue with my choices. He also provided valuable guidance whenever I wasn't sure about something. He responded almost immediately and always with great ideas and attention to detail.

We worked with Hans and his team on both our kitchen and bath remodels, and we can't speak highly enough of Schuon Kitchen and Baths, Inc. We wanted a contemporary feel, and needed help to rearrange our 1980s floorplan. He not only came up with beautiful cabinet options that we could afford, but also made several design suggestions that helped our kitchen and bath layout be more functional and look great!

Our contemporary kitchen is even photographed on their website. They were very detail oriented and diligent during the whole planning and installation process as well, which resulted in a no surprise experience, with everything fitting exactly as expected. As a result, a few years later when we put our house on the market, we had multiple offers that resulted in a sale over our asking price, within just a few days. The buyers all told us the kitchen and bath made the difference. Thanks SKBI for your great cabinets and plans!

Marc Tyson did a fantastic job helping to design our new master bathroom. He did an excellent job incorporating the changes we wanted to make, and the end result was great. I would highly recommend using him for your next kitchen or bathroom project.

I was less than impressed with my overall experience (missed first appointment with me, brought child to second second appointment, weeks late in getting me a design then came in way over budget discussed, shelves were damaged when installed), however I remained polite and moved forward with them. Now, I have received a letter stating sales tax went up and an invoice asking me to pay the difference.

This letter came: 6 months after the contract was signed, 4 months after taxes went up, and 3 months after the job was finished. My saint of a contractor handled it for me (months after his work at our home was complete), but I'm still floored they they had the nerve to send this. And, nope, my contract said nothing about paying the difference if taxes went up.

Emily designed our three bathroom remodels after listening to our needs and desires. Each of them has fabulous cabinets and tile design thanks to her efforts. The lighting is well thought out and adds a lot of ambiance. We are thrilled with the outcome of all three which is due to Emily's attention to detail and color.

We are so pleased with our new kitchen-it was beautifully designed and skillfully installed. Our kitchen works-it functions brilliantly! Hans, you have a great team working with you at Schuon Kitchens.

We would like to thank you for your wonderful sense of architectural design with the renovations of our bathrooms. Each room has its own identity while still being cohesive with the rest of the house. We love them, great job! What a great team at Schoun Kitchens in Hans, Emily and Bobby.
