One of Arlington Custom Builders founding owners is Alan Anderson. Alan got his start in contracting during high school and college working for his father's company - EG Anderson Construction in Arlington Heights, Illinois. In 1985, the family moved to Scottsdale and founded Arlington Construction Company, now known as Arlington Custom Builders.In 2008, Arlington Custom Builders was recognized as one of the top remodeling contractors by Ranking AZ - the smallest company ever to have been selected for that honor. In addition, Brenda is considered one of the top kitchen and bath designers in the state.

Arlington Custom Builders has had plenty of experience with Arizona custom homes. We love creating spacious, elegant homes, from the ground up, including a 17-house subdivision, which we took from raw land, changed the zoning, and ran all the sewer, utilities, water and roads. Then we designed the houses, colorized them, and then built them.

I hired Alan Anderson and Arlington Custom Homes for an extensive remodel and was thrilled with how it turned out. Not only did the finished home end up better than I imagined, but the bid was lower than competitors, they finished on time and there were no surprises along the way. When we decided it was time to remodel our kitchen, laundry room and bar area we started by looking at appliances. The salesman referred us to Arlington Custom Builders and owner, Alan Anderson. Alan and his wife Brenda met with us at our convenience in our home. We expressed what we wanted and they made it a reality. Brenda's design talent and experience guided us in the right direction and Alan and his team of subcontractors brought the vision to fruition. Alan discussed with us daily on every phase of the process so there were no surprises.
His team of subcontractors were on time and very respectful of our home. We love our new kitchen, functional laundry room and bar area and looking forward to our next project with Alan. My wife and I hired Arlington Custom Builders to renovate a foreclosure home we purchased in Desert Mountain. Alan and all of his subcontractors did an outstanding job. They completely transformed our home. The renovation included the addition of an elevator, new flooring throughout, new appliances and accompanying cabinetry, transforming a bathroom into a complete handicap accessible bathroom, new French doors across the entire back of the home, Custom built in bar, and refinished garage with cabinetry and countertops.
I cant say enough good things about Alan and his workers. I would definitely hire them again and recommend them to my friends. Thank you Alan for transforming our house into a home.

When it's time to remodel your home, you want it done competently, on time and at the right price. While this may sound easy enough, it can be much harder than you think. Arlington Custom Builders and owner, Alan Anderson were the right people for our job. We wanted to do a significant remodel of our home. The project scope included gutting 2 bathrooms and a complete re-design of the master bath and closet configuration.
In addition, we replaced all of the flooring and some of our kitchen cabinets. Right off the bat, Alan was flexible. He allowed us to dream and request every feature. Then as we made adjustments to fit our budget, Alan made a clear effort to help us balance our plan against our pocketbook. Despite the fact that it was more work for his team, Alan accommodated our desire to move to a different section of our home while they worked.
The extent of our changes required Alan to bring a variety of craftsmen to handle various components of the job. Everyone that Alan brought into our home was courteous, responsive, competent and pleasant. Like us, Alan paid attention to the details of the work. If we weren't 100% satisfied, Alan made it right. I would highly recommend Arlington Custom Builders.

We have employed the services of Arlington Custom Builders on two occasions. In the first remodel, a load bearing wall was removed between the kitchen and the family room. New windows were installed and travertine floors were laid in the main living areas of our home. In the second remodel, the master bathroom was gutted and completely done over. The results were outstanding!

Alan Anderson of Arlington Custom Homes has been the general contractor for a number of large remodeling projects for us over the past 9 years or so. Master bath, office addition, closet and sitting room addition off our master bedroom, repainting, rewiring, tile work, plumbing, refurbishing our garage, installing wood garage doors are among them.

The design and workmanship were first rate, his crew was professional and the job was finished on time.
