Colorado Deck & Landscape provided great design ideas for the deck and backyard to help us dial into the right improvements. Very good responsiveness and communication throughout the process. Installation crew was timely, productive, and kept the worksite organized and cleaned up each day. The deck is spot on and will last us many years to come.

We had a trellis/privacy wall installed made of composite deck materials. It was a small project so it took several months to be added to their schedule but we were pleased with the outcome.

Due to COVID and the City of Denver's Planning Department delays the project was not on time. However, we were kept appraised regularly. In the winter of 2020 I contacted Colorado Deck and landscape to build pavers, a fire pit, and a pergola. Joe came out within a week and provided great service. While other contractors typically send less experience representatives, it was refreshing to work directly with the owner Joe who is extremely knowledgable. I was attracted to the quality of work of CD&L and I wasn't disappointed.

The project started March 2021 and went through about May. The crew was extremely professional and I can't say enough good things about Trevor, Mason, and Devon. The attention to detail was fantastic and I was happy with the final product. I added pictures for reference. Additionally, 3 months after the project was complete I noticed some minor issues (sprinkler heads misfiring & slight imperfection in the pavers) and I called CD&L to fix the issues.

Without any delay they came out and fixed the problems and didn't charge me a dime. Superior service. At the end of the project I noticed the final bill didn't match my records in terms of what was being charged. I sent an email to Joe about it and he concurred that my financial figures were correct and he updated the invoice and we were all square. On one of my projects, I had stop work order due to zoning issues and building codes from my previous unlicensed deck company. After searching a licensed professional deck company on the internet, I found this company. They helped me to solve this issue and carried the whole process. I can't thank them enough to actually redo the brand new deck again.

We worked directly with the owner, Joe, for consultation, design, pricing, and oversight. He diligently worked with us so we got what we wanted, we were happy, and it was the best design with the materials and our budget. Our project manager, Trevor, was very responsive to questions and coming to site if we had concerns or questions about the process or next steps.

The crew worked with us to make modifications to improve our design through the process or correct any oversights we noticed. Any concerns we encountered were dealt with professionally and with dedication to our project. The end result was a two level deck and pergola that completed our vision of a low maintenance, zen outdoor living space with built in benches and planter boxes. We had Colorado Deck and Landscaping come to our home to give us a quote. On the phone we had discussed doing pavers, though we were interested in discussing putting in a composite deck, pavers, or concrete. When Joe arrived, he was very rude and said he couldn't give us a quote for concrete, and could only give us a quote for a composite deck. He was dismissive of our ideas and very condescending the entire time.

The way he treated us made us feel like we were wasting his time and that he wasn't interested in our business. He then said he needed to take some measurements, and left without saying a word. This was our anticipated top choice before having them come to our home, and because of the poor customer service, they are not even a consideration. That, and the fact that they never sent us a quote (for the deck we didn't want) or have their concrete guy give us the quote Joe couldn't give.

The other companies who gave us estimates were all able to give us quotes for all three types of materials, so not only was Joe rude, but it gave us pause that he couldn't quote us for a service they offer and that he simply wasn't interested in any kind of follow up.

Joe and the crew did a fine job. They added on to my existing deck that was built by the home builder and it looks like original construction except for the quality. CD&L's quality was way better. Other bids I got wouldn't guarantee they deck would match the existing deck but Joe put 'match existing' in the contract.

Crew did a really great job. Turned out better than expected. Excellent detail work. Very, very happy. All I spoke with from salesman to the crew that did the work were very friendly and accommodating.

While the guys were on time and worked hard every day of the project, there was not much communication. When they left for the day, they just left.and left the garage door open. Our estimate went out the window when we added a deck skirt. While this would be expected, the skirt was something we talked about from the beginning and should have been included in the estimate.

The material we originally chose was no longer manufactured, and we had to chose something else (at a higher cost). All this said, we have a lovely deck that was completed in record time by competent workers. And I would recommend them.

We wanted a quote on a composite deck ( 900 sq ft.) Just a little concerned that without seeing the property and from just a description of the size of the deck I was quoted $45K for the project. That is just a big expensive for a composite deck in my book. I said no thanks, that's way over our budget.

I scheduled an estimate with Colorado Deck and Landscape for 1/22. It snowed, so they contacted me to reschedule. Then, 30 minutes before the rescheduled appointment, Joe called and said that he'd just reviewed the information I'd provided over a week before when I requested the estimate and he said that he wanted to make sure I knew they have a $5,000 minimum.

They hadn't communicated that to me during the scheduling process, but the project will be above $5,000. I told him that but said if he didn't want to bid it I wasn't going to try to talk him into it. He said "I'll pass" and hung up. I wasn't rude - I was simply giving him an out if he wanted it. He couldn't have been less professional.

I work during the day and took time off to be home for estimates. Colorado Deck and Landscaping had plenty of time prior to the scheduled appointment to review the scope of the project and ask any questions about the size before they scheduled. Cancelling so rudely 30 minutes before the scheduled time was stunningly unprofessional. If you're looking for a company that treats people with respect, you may want to go somewhere else.

We spent the entire summer lounging poolside and relaxing in the beauty of our garden hideaway. Your design has created a peaceful grotto that makes us feel like we are on vacation every time we step into it.

After having several other companies give us the run around or not being able to give us a design that we requested, we found Colorado Deck & Landscape. Joe was prompt in his responses to us and returned a lovely design and kept us in the loop as to the start date. Their hard working employees were on time everyday and were very respectful and knowledgeable.

The project was completed very quickly and completely, they ensured each item in the yard was installed correctly and they even replaced a light fixture twice when the shade was cracked. I would highly recommend this company and look forward to working with them for our deck and front yard needs soon!

We had our deck removed, a patio and arbor installed October 2016. That process/project was excellent. There were 2 Wisteria planted around the arbor. I contacted Joe one month after the wisteria were planted and let him know that the twigs did not look healthy to me. He came out and looked at them and said they would get better. I was diligent in watering the plants through the winter.

I contacted Joe in April 2017 and again in June 2017. There are clearly 2 different plants, I'm not even sure if either plants are Wisteria. When I asked Joe if the plants we have were Wisteria, he said he didn't know the different types of Wisteria. I did major fertilization to both plants. One now looks ok and the other looks awful. Basic patio work was very good, but would not use them for landscape. Sad, when a simple "fix" of replacing a plant can't be done by the contractor.

Joe and Allen, along with their crew at the time, did an outstanding job on deck and backyard landscaping. They worked the project consistently and seemed have all of their deliveries and any sub contracting well coordinated.

We are really enjoying our deck and patio. It is beautiful and adds to the value of our home! Thanks for doing an amazing job.

They were nice when I spoke to them on the phone however when they came to look at my yard the guy didn't give me the time of day. I was wanting to put a pergola in and some rock in my small side yard. Definitely will be going with a different company.

We have hired them to make a design for our backyard. My husband was not totally hot to hire people (we can do it ourselves) also the 900 usd for plans is steep (but about the same than other landscapers i called). Anyway, after meeting 3 landscapers, i chose them. Mainly they have at their office a little yard that is beautiful, i want that. Anyway, Guy came on saturday to shows us the first draft of drawings and it was wow.

Husband even admitted that we would have never thought about stuff like that (reshape the patio, boulders here and there). We still don't have an estimate (and i have a feeling it's going to be up there with the number of digits) and we will see what we can afford, but just for the 'think out of the box' it is worth it. Also, note that the 'design' price will be reimbursed if we use them for the work above a certain price (number that they have not given to us either yet).
