Peak Alarm

Consumer beware! Don't trust the reviews on this site. There is no question they are fabricated by Peak. We have never been so frustrated with a subcontractor in our 40 years of being a general contractor than we are with Peak Alarm. Their service department is a joke. We continue to have the same problems that we started with over a year ago. Now they won't service the job unless we pay them $150 per hour to fix the problems they created. We have a critical front door that won't lock and transients and strangers walk through it every day. But our Peak system tells us the door is locked.

The Team at ADP responded to alarm issues by sending out a tech same day even when they thought it would not be possible. The tech was friendly, professional and efficient. It was a relief to be able to secure the business and not have to worry about the alarm system not working.

I hired Peak Alarm to install a new camera security system in my gym. During installation the technicians cut ALL of my existing CAT5 wires in the attic without asking or telling me about it. One of the wires they violated was our WIFI to the back section of the building. I started receiving numerous complaints from our members and our treadmills (which run off WIFI) went down.

The salesman from Peak Alarm suggested it was my internet provider and called Xmission and got me a quote for new service. I ended up switching service providers, which was 3x more monthly than my old provider. I had to bring the fiber into our building and purchase a new router. This process took about 4 weeks. Once the switch was made, I thought everything would be great, but it wasn't.

The WIFI still was not working. It took hours of trying to figure out the problem and we had to purchase a toner to test the wires. Once we discovered the cut wires, I called the Peak Alarm salesman right away. He said he'd contact the owner of the company. With no response from the owner we went and bought new CAT5 wires and ran it ourselves. When the owner did reach out, his response was to have my IT department run new wires and send him the bill.

After sending him a message of everything that we went through, he replied with "I don't know what to say ". That's it and I haven't heard anything since. I will never use this company again.

I enjoy working with Peak Audio and Alarm because their staff is so knowledgable and they are so professional. Daren, my contact/sales person is spot on with his responses to me. He is knowledgeable about his company's products but takes all the information back to the design engineers to make the project complete and accurate with options - which I appreciate.

The installation and service is beyond anything I have experienced as a customer in many, many years. This company wanted to do right by me and kept costs manageable while providing me the best equipment. Daren was beyond responsible and knowledgeable and Ron, who headed my installation project was extremely competent and reliable. I appreciated that the sales deferred to the installation person, Ron to know exactly how to implement the engineered design. Such a professional company with complete followup. I highly recommend working with this company

They have been alright to deal with over the years as long as nothing is wrong. I just got a phone call saying "we need to upgrade the cell booster in your panel to 4G". I told them that's fine and to go ahead. Long story short if I wouldn't have asked she was going to charge me $99 and then said there will be labor on top of it? She said I'd be forced to do it within the next few months! What a joke! Turning into the same BS that big companies are today! I'll be switching to another company when I get back from vacation!

Answer phones and help customers to deal with their alarm problems! Peak Alarm is one of the worst in customer service - always giving people the run around whenever there is a problem to be addressed.

I use Peak Alarm at my office and my home and my experience has been excellent overall. From the initial contact with the sales person to the couple service calls I've had. Everything has been great. I recommend this company.

My alarm installers Eric and Devin were amazing. They showed up on time and when the part that had been ordered for my system was incorrect, they drove 30 miles to go pick up the correct part and came back to finish the job, staying well after hours. They were polite, showed me how to use the system and thoroughly answered all my questions and even moved the motion detector that was originally installed (by someone else several years earlier) in a place I didn't like.

I wish more service and installation technicians at other companies and other industries could deliver this type of service. Thank you Devin and Eric for making my night better and helping me feel good about the alarm company I chose.

Ryan was very helpful, knowledgeable and patient to do all the troubleshooting and testing to reassure me that our newly updated system was working correctly. Definitely the best technician I had the experience of working with at Peak Alarm. I worked with two others previously, and my experience was night and day! I will ONLY work with Ryan should the need arise again for onsite technical assistance. He is amazing & represents Peak Alarm with flying colors! Thank you Ryan, it was a pleasure working with you!

I just had a service person come out for a contact that wasn't working at our site. He was absolutely stellar. He was very friendly and polite. He was very quick to assess and repair the troubled Zone. At one point I actually saw him jogging back and forth to provide quicker service. Now that's impressive! Peak alarm is superior! Trust me, we had a previous alarm company, Stanley, and I also tried to work with others, but until I found Peak I was beginning to lose hope in the prospect of quality security companies. Peak truly does care about their customers and provide outstanding service. Thank you Peak!

One of the best security companies around. They have excellent technicians and they do everything they can to make sure that I was happy with the level of security for my home.

These guys actually KNOW what they are doing. My job has required me to move from state to state and I have needed to get security at my new residence every time. Peak's people actually answer their phones and they know what they are talking about. Hands down.
