Baum Cleaning

I contacted Baum carpet cleaners on Monday morning. They are no longer in Gladstone, but in Lenexa. I asked if they still worked north of the river. The receptionist said they do, and claimed they don't charge for the drive. I got an estimate based on how many rooms. It seemed high, but considering the favorable reviews on line, I figured they must be worth it.

Later that evening I received a message saying that someone named Jason had upped the estimated from $460-$490 to $510 with no reason given. She told me about a $30 off coupon on their web site that I could use, which 'magically' brings it back down to the original estimate range. The receptionist also said they were available Tuesday or Wednesday next week.

I called back the next morning and left a message. I accepted the estimate, and said either day was fine. I also asked they call me back with which day and morning or afternoon. No response on Tuesday. I called back again and left a similar message on the other phone number she gave me. No call back on Wednesday. On Thursday morning I called and left the message to cancel, and if they came out, it was on their expense, not ours. Also, I said I would be posting a negative review.

I got an immediate call back with an apology. However, the receptionist 'claimed' she didn't get any of my previous messages even though my third message (that she was returning the call from) was to the exact same phone numbers I had left the first two messages. Don't hire!

They did a wonderful job and my carpet looked great. I didn't even want to walk on it and made company take their shoes off.it even feels clean when I finally walked around on it.loved it! I will definitely be using them again and recommending them!

I too used Yelp to find a carpet cleaner back in December 2014. I chose this company because of the reviews. So glad I did! Best carpet cleaning I've ever had! I had always used Stanley Steamer and last time I used them the tech's smelled like smoke and it took forever for my carpets to dry. So I tried Baum and was so happy with the results!

Not only did every stain come out, the carpets dried faster! He was able to get out stains and help some worn areas better than I thought possible! Will only use them in the future! Thanks for such great service!

With the help of fellow Yelp reviewers I called and compared various offers to clean the carpet in my home. I had some quote me a astronomically high price to do our 1750sq ft. Spoke to the folks at Baum's and they gave me a price of almost 1/2 of what some of the others did. The reviews were good so I signed them up. They were on time, in fact called about an 1 1/2hrs before my appt to let me know they were running on time. When they arrived the work they did was fantastic. Will not have to look for anyone else the next time we need a cleaning. These folks are top notch!

A great owner operated business. Technician showed up early even after a last minute scheduling on my part. Fast and very efficient. He made funky old carpet in my last rental look brand new. He even took the time to get out a few stubborn stains that my wife couldn't get out. Will definitely recommend to anyone seeking a cleaning service. I'm sure their other cleaning services are as good as their carpet cleaning.

We are very pleased and impressed by the carpet cleaning service provided by Baum Cleaning Systems. And, let me tell you, when it comes to properly cleaning our carpets, we are very picky! Over the years we have used many different carpet cleaning companies: some were adequate and some were terrible. A couple did a pretty good job but charged ridiculous prices.

The worse are those who quote you one price over the phone but the price quickly escalates when they are in your home, set up to clean AND. of course. you have company coming the next day. We found Baum to have reasonable pricing. Very important to us: they treat their customers right. The Baum team is very professional, knowledgeable and reliable.

Best of all, they did a FABULOUS cleaning job on our carpets. Their cleaning system is so powerful that the carpets were completely dry within 1 hour and looked beautiful. That has never happened with any other service. They will be our "go-to" carpet cleaners in the future and we highly-recommend this company.

The very best carpet cleaning service - period. They get your carpets clean - period. So glad I found them (using Groupon or LivingSocial or one of those)! We have light-colored carpet throughout the house, and get it filthy quite easily. We get carpets cleaned at least once, if not twice, each year. I've used Baum two times now, and I won't call anyone else. They're incredibly thorough, getting out stains that other carpet cleaners left behind. They always show up right on time (which is pretty unusual from what I've experienced) and they are very professional. Can't recommend Baum highly enough.
