This company was sent to my house as part of a subcontracted job to do what should have been simple work. Instead, I had a tech arrive at my house twenty minutes late for having been given the wrong directions. Then, after telling me the work I wanted done couldn't be done, he and his boss got into a shouting and cussing match on the phone. The guy quit, got in his van and left, and all I had to show for it was two hours of wasted time and a playbook for creative use of curse words. Apparently, all the good people they had left are gone, so one might consider shopping elsewhere if this is the experience moving forward. Not impressed. At. All.

I tried A-team electric for the first and last time. I called them for a simple residential job of fixing a couple of wall sconces that were not working any more. I was told over the phone that it would be $65 for the service call and $65 an hour after that. When the electrician arrived he came with help, the 2nd person appeared to be just that, a helper and not another license electrician.
I was told again that the rate would be $65 a hour with a $65 service fee, that sounded good to me. Four hours later they finally rewired the sconces. Why that took four hour and why it took two people that long was beyond me. When I got the final cost I found out they had charged me not $65 and hour but $130 an hour for the electrician and his helper.
I was shocked at the dishonesty, why not state that before you even arrive at the house. I emailed the and asked about this but never even got a response. Stay away unless you are ok with being charged double.

The owner Matthew originally gave me a quote in early December to wire two driveway columns on my 28ft driveway that I was going to have built sometime in January 2018. He quoted me $680 to do the job after he came out and looked at it. I told him I would call him in January to do the work. When I called him in January like I said I would, for some reason unknown to me, he said he'd have to come back out and look at it again.
He came back out and looked at it, refused to come inside to talk to me about it, and told my son that he'd get a quote over to me that evening. Well 3 weeks later after I had to call him about the quote a half dozen more times, he finally emailed me a quote that somehow went from $680 to over $2,500 dollars! How does a job that he personally looked at and priced previously, somehow quadruple in price?
Especially when NOTHING changed about the "work to be performed" particulars of the job itself? The simple answer: HE PRICE GOUGED ME AS HIS CUSTOMER! I got someone else to do the work who gave me a good price and has a good reputation with customers.

Great service and great prices. These guys were professional and I could tell right away they knew what they were doing. my basement outlets had been out for 2 years. I have had 2 other electrical companies try to fix them with no luck. A-Team came in and had them working with in 2 hours. I will definitely use them again. I gave my mom their number and she is using them to fix her attic fan. Great Company! Thank You A-TEAM!

I can do minor electrical work - repair/replace switches and outlets, light fixtures, ceiling fans, etc. - but I had a problem that stumped me. I called A-Team to see if they could come figure it out and fix it for me. After I explained my problem to them they told me to try one more thing before they came out, as long as I was comfortable doing it.
Their advice was perfect - it solved my problem and saved me a service call. If they are this knowledgeable and helpful for free, I can only imagine how helpful they'll be when I have to actually have them come out and do some work. Even though I haven't yet had them do any work at my house, they are my electrician of choice in Kansas City. They couldn't have been more helpful. Highly recommended.
