These guys are THE BEST. I called up and down the valleys from Missoula to Kalispell looking for help in my area and these guys definitely came through. I was impressed by their professionalism personable customer service patience and most of all efficiency. They were in and out - did an amazing job - we couldn't be happier.

Brought in a mirror to have it resized because it was damaged in shipping. Mirror was to be cut down roughly an inch on four sides as well as its backing then re-adhered to its backing. The mirror was not reattached to its backing when i picked it up but the shop still attempted to collect full price. "Cut baker board to match size of mirror and re-install" is literally itemized on my bill.
When i asked about it the lady rudely gave me 10 dollars off. Secondly the mirror was supposed to be taken in about an inch along the edges. They said the mirror ran when cutting it so the mirror was reduced in size SIGNIFICANTLY. Again they attempted to bill full price. When i asked about it the woman said it was not their fault because the mirror was damaged.
Well the point of resizing the mirror was because it was damaged. I had to hagle with the lady to recieve another 10 whole dollars off. She said, "I'll do ten but no more" The glass cuter was standing in front of the mirror looking at it when i was given the quote, they understood exactly what the job and situation was and proceeded to fail to follow through on two counts and then proceeded to attempt to charge me full price, twice.
The glass cutter couldnt even be bothered to come to the desk and explain to me what had happened when i picked the mirror up. I watched him tell the front desk attendant to give me 10 off for failing to reattatch the mirror as he sat in the back. Mind you this was my great grandmother's mirror i was having cut for my grandmother. Highly unprofessional to the point i was insulted.
If you attempt to bill someone for a service you blatantly did not perform you are attempting to steal from them. My experience with this business and it's employees i could only describe as pathetic.

I dropped off a piece of smoked, beveled glass that had an etched groove down on side and on the top and I wanted it cut down to fit into an end table. I was told that it would be no problem and I could pick it up the next day and it would only cost $10.00. Mike called the next day and told me that when he cut the glass it shattered into a thousand pieces because it was tempered glass.
He told me that he had another piece of regular smoked glass that he would sell me for $20.00. I took my matching piece of glass from same entertainment center to a competitor and they were able to cut it with no problems.hum. I have come away from this feeling alittle smoked.

I wanted glass shower doors in a "french door" style that would not require a metal pole across the top. After being told by several other local dealers that this would be impossible; garden city was able to install exactly what I was asking for and they are beautiful. They used side channels to mount the glass and hinged the doors off the mounted piece. Everyone that comes to my house compliments these doors.

Last spring I brought 2 windows in for garden city to reglaze with tempered glass, and with the hopes to get new windows that would match in style/color. I was told it would be no problem to get the new glass installed, and that they could order new windows to match the ones I already had. Very regretfully I ordered the windows without verifying how well the new color matched because I was told by Tanner that "if it's not an exact match it will be so close I wouldn't be able to notice the difference." When my windows came in over a month later that was far from the case.
The shade of green of the new windows is much darker, and stands completely in contrast with the original 2 windows. Those 2 which I had reglazed were returned to me damaged, which I didn't notice until I went to install them this summer. One window had a huge chip in the frame around the glass, and the opening mechanism was also damaged when they switched the glass.
I also had a code requirement that one of my windows be a means of egress which I specifically mentioned many times, and when the window came in the screen was built into it so that one would have to destroy it to get out. Anyways after spending nearly $3,000 garden city paint and glass I am way less than pleased with my experience. Next time I'm in need of windows I will take my business somewhere else.
