Sunlight Solar

Because of This company I have have high blood pressure. They installed 29 solar panels for me on February 2020 and they make me download a APP to check if those panels are working properly. Few days later I check it, it shows only 15 panels working and I called the company they check on their system and they found only 15 panels are working. They told me they will send technician to check it out I was waiting waiting waiting never came i even called them no answer.

Until 18 months later I received a email from the company told me only 15 panels are reporting 14 of them not reporting. I told them you guys new that from the same week of the installation. They send 2 technician to look at it and they told me they found a cable wasn't installed properly. I said that's why my electric bill didn't go down that much they said ok we'll be back next week to fix it. and they came back fix it after 18 months now my electric bill go down significantly.

I asked the company for some refund because i was paying the loan for the panels and my electric bill wasn't go down much until after 18 months. Now they asked me the copies of my electric bill from February 2020 to January 2022. I sent those copies to the company they told they received them I haven't heard from them since. I called i email them still not heard from them. Now I'm working with my lawyer about the lawsuit against sunlight Solar company.

I waited to submit this review in order to capture my level of satisfaction with their product. I am pleased to say that I recommend this company, they were knowledgeable, offered a good value, installed in time, offered good incentives, and stayed on top of the entire process. My solar panel system has surpassed my expectations, even with an EV! There were some mishaps during installation; gutters and vents were accidentally dented. However, they sent contractors who repaired/replaced damaged pieces to my satisfaction. This business is ethical and family owned, which is important to support. Thank you Sunlight Solar!

Your people seem to do a great job. They were very courteous and professional. Their work was neat and thorough. Your crew did a complete system removal in preparation for a roof replacement. Please save yourself a headache and do not use this company. They have been nothing but a headache. Their products are awful and I found this out because they refused to service my solar AC after it broke about a year after install. I had to call my own solar AC repairman who stated the unit was a cheap unit meant for use only in Asia. The solar pool heater is also a hit or miss.

My solar AC broke yet again and is showing an L1 error message so I tried calling Monique Anselmo for help but I guess she blocked my number because now it only goes straight to voicemail. I also called the customer service line and they told me they no longer service the unit they sold me. Stay away they are just AWFUL.

During the first visit the work I thought would be performed did not get done due to a misunderstanding about someone being at home to authorize repair work. However after speaking with the owner about the issue they have agreed to come back out to complete the repair with no additional trip charge. Cant ask for more than that. Will be adding additional stars after work is completed. Thank You Sunlight Solar.

Recently we have solar system and solar water heater by Sunlight that was a really nice service by the time was at our home they did exceptional service and very fast installation, they worked at my house less than 8 hours to install both systems. Both service passed in the inspection in the first time and the inspector was impressed with the quality of the service. We really recommend this company. Willians And Silvana

They did an excellent job of communication and service. They also cleaned up well when done. They did not drive over any sprinkler heads either.

Gabriel Solares was very professional and knowledgeable about our solar requirements. He has kept in touch and was even present for the installation. He then followed up with me to make sure I was happy with the installation. The installation team was also a bunch of hard working and trust worthy guys. All in all it has been great working with everyone at Sunlight Solar. I highly recommend them if you are considering a solar installation.

This crooked company charged me $8,000.00 ( $13,242.00 w financing) they promise an hybrid water tank and gave me a cheap electric one( about $300 online) and charged me for work to be done at the attic( even after my wife and me told them 20 times we didn't have an attic. The representatives, said we are professionals, anyway the " professionals"never came to the house to check the attic but they charged for working at the imaginary attic anyways.

Long story short, a $300 tank is costing me more than $13,000. Anything to say about that Monique and David? So now I'm editing my own review ( about a month later) still waiting for a response. Looking through the other reviews, you answered in one of them to another customer (as shown on the pictures sent)Mrs. Anselmo how come I didn't get any pictures of the completed work done at my house? Oh wait, I know why you don'thave any. A4nd tell Ben I'm still waiting for him to take me to court. This is the US not Cuba. I believe in the legal system.

Worst company they installed 39 panels and almost 2 months later called to say they needed to remove 8 panels due to an error, The county inspected the panels which were 39 and all paper work say 39 installed. The HOA also approved it once again for 39 panels. STAY AWAY. Do not hire them to install your panels.

This company is a fraud. The sellers avoid info just to sell the systems and you cannot cancel contract because they saying you only have 3 day to cancel after the installation info nobody explain to you plus at the end you still getting a huge bill from your electric company because the system is less from what you need. Really bad customer service I don't recommend this company is a fraud be aware.

I had a solar panel for my swimming pool leaking. I called Sunlight Solar and they did an inspection of all my solar equipment. I ended up having to replace 3 panels sensors and rewiring. Costed over 1.6K, but I think it's worth it. They did a good job in one day. Had to reevaluate my review. About five months after the first inspection and repairs were done, one pipe moved out of place.

They quoted me over 640. including a service call. I argued that the first inspection should have discovered those repairs. The repairs were not done properly and the water pressure pushed the pipe out of place

Sunlight solar is truly amazing. They were referred to me by a solar panel manufacture after the original installers made some errors. Sunlight solar explained the work done throughout the process and followed up with me after to ensure my satisfaction. After using two different installers in 5 years I found sales pitch is one thing future follow up/ satisfaction is another. Staff at Sunlight solar from (customer service, installers, management) have shown they pay attention to my installation needs. I'd be happy to work with them again.

I would highly recommend this company. I was in a bind when my dad passed away and I found out he had been scammed into a 25 year solar lease from another company. I need to sell my parents home but in order to do that I had to get the solar system off the house. These guys gave me a very fast and fair solution. They even took the system to storage for me as we will be returning them to the scammers.

They were professional, polite and very understanding of my situation. This is no mom and pop company. These guys were in uniforms and had very professional equipment. They explained everything I needed to know after taking the system off. I really cannot express enough how kind and professional these guys were. Thank you to the team that came to our home!

The work performed by the technician from Sunlight Solar, exceeded all of my expectations! Jean F. was a thorough professional. The entire removal & installation process was all performed in a timely manner and the testing of the new system and the clean-up was completed expertly. My wife and I are extremely pleased with all stages of this project! I would highly recommend Sunlight Solar to neighbors thinking about going solar.

We had you come out two times. The first time the panels had to be replaced under warranty. The second time was because there was a leak. The first group was very pleasant and did the work and we paid them for the installation. The second time the gentleman that came out was fantastic. He found the leak was not a big problem and it was something that needed tightening.

He also noticed that flashings were never put under the panels and he suggested that it be done so that the roof shingles would not wear when the panels moved. He also noticed that the mechanism that controls the temperature was broken. I asked him to fix both items. He did the flashings and then he found the temperature control did not need to completely replaced so he replaced the faulty item.

He asked about the remote control or app to control the temperature control and I said we never received one. Your company did not do the original installation. The lady in the office tried to see what the name of the control company was so I could look it up but she could not find it in the original invoice I sent her. She was nice enough to give me the number of the company that originally did the work and I will have to call them. The second gentleman that came out was wonderful.

I had them replace parts on my solar water heater and after a month or two I noticed a part not working correctly. Once they received the part which was under warranty from the manufacturer they came and replaced it. I am very happy with them. They called and said they would show up at between 12-4 and they did. Everything is working great.

I the solar pool panels I have are FAFCO with 12 year warrantee. The original installer had the panel leaning against my bathroom vent with 4 tubes pushed almost 90 degrees. I called and they were going to send someone to plug the leak that developed this would have taken 5 or 6 tubes out of service and voided the warrantee on the panel. They would not be able to get out until a week and a half and if that did not work for my schedule the next appointment was in a month.

I called FAFCO and they said to call Sunlight Solar. They sent a crew the next day took my information, pictures and charged $98.00 for the visit a week later they came on the day we had agreed on and installed a new panel, spacers moved the panels away from the vent installed the tie downs and charged $50.00 for labor and covered the spacers and clamps. The only reaon t is not 5 stars was they did not tell me the $50.00 labor charge and failed to confirm the appointment time. They were on courteous and professional.

This turned out to be a horrible company, wish I could rate lower. Pool heating solar system installed Jan 2017. Salesman said they would fill building permit requirements during installation. In response to direct question about system's ability to withstand hurricane, told us system had superior strapping, system rated at 140 MPH. System failed during Hurricane Irma - winds never topped 80 MPH in our area.

When informed of damage, the company said they only rated systems to 140 MPH when installed near the Florida coast. In Orlando, systems only rated to 105 MPH. However, stated that they are NOT RESPONSIBLE for any damage caused buy "natural causes" of any kind. Investigating damage, some of the large screws we were told would be screwed into the roof joists were torn out, apparently only secured to the plywood.

Orange County Building Permit Inspectors office told us that no building permit ever secured, Company denies they told us about ratings, strapping or other implied superiority of their system to withstand wind. In BBB complaint response, they claim they offered to inspect and to fix at my expense, This was most expensive we looked at. Purchased because of these assurances.

If I could give a ZERO Stars I would. I WASTED half a day-only day off waiting for these people. On a Saturday-that they are conveniently closed-so you can't call them. After waiting 3 hrs in the afternoon-decided to e-mail them. Got this --Lie of a response. 'We did show, no one was home. On our first email I asked for a different phone number as the one you gave us was not yours.' First, No ONE showed up.

There were two cars at house, 3 people, and a Dog that Barks at EVERYTHING. There is no way they even came close to pulling into driveway or lawn. It should not matter about phone #, they never showed up. Second. Sometimes People type phone # in wrong, and did not correct it.but if you want my business.don't waste my time and LIE saying you showed up at my home and no one was there. Just Show up DON'T Trust them, WON'T Use them. I guess My job was too small for them

Did a great job, despite having to deal with the ridiculousness of my cities building department.

Great Company to work with. The quality of work done at my house was beautiful and fast, I definitely recommend them to anyone or family.
