Foster Electric Corp. was founded in 1987 by Brad Foster in Colorado Springs CO, USA and has grown to a firm of over 50 employees and over $7 million (US) in annual sales.

Many of these employees have been with the firm for over ten years. In addition to electrical contracting services for the education, military, retail, and health industries Foster Electric Corp. has completed projects for national restaurant chains, including Bubba's 33, Outback Steakhouse, Macaroni Grill, Joe's Crab Shack, Texas Roadhouse, and Rock Bottom Brewery.

These people need to learn how to drive! I just saw a work van on Powers headed north cut accross 2 lanes of traffic, in between 2 sets of cars to get into the turning lane of S carefree or N carefree, I couldn't read the sign in time. Lame!

These guys are the best in town. Wire Nut cancelled a long standing appointment on me 4 days before I close on my home and they were able to get me in for an emergency appointment the same day. Prices were extremely fair, the guy they sent out to my house (I wish I could remember his name!) was very professional and didn't waste any time tackling the tasks at hand. They communicated very well, too. Highly recommend!

Our regular electrician was unable to get to us so they suggested we call Foster Electric. Foster got us an appointment the next day. Our problem was diagnosed and fixed quickly. Very pleased.

Foster Electric was spot on this past month. We had several issues with lights and outlets. Their service team came out, inspected what was happening and then scheduled the work. Two days later, at their scheduled time, showed up with all the right parts and took care of our team in a very timely fashion. Thank you so much for being on top of your game.

Great affordable local business. Has been servicing our facility since the building opened in 1988. Same reliable techs for vast majority of that time, and immediate service. Great service at a very affordable rate. Can't beat that.

Lets just start off with saying that this company has horrible customer service. First, they no-showed to the first appointment that was scheduled. We did not receive a courtesy phone call to let us know. I called and complained and they stated that they were behind on jobs because of the weather, so other appointments were pushed out. Well, this would of been nice to know. Second, we were told by the technician that the service would be comp'd because of the scheduling mix up.

Fast forward to a week later, we receive a bill in the mail.$195.00! THEY COULD NOT EVEN FIX THE ISSUE! When I called I was told by the manager that we still owed them for the labor, even though the technician stated that the manager told him to tell us that the services would be FREE! We will never recommend or use them again. They were able to refer us to someone who could actually fix the problem. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

You cannot count on them to keep appointments. I called first thing in the morning to confirm my appointment. I was told that they would be at my home sometime around 1-2. Andrew called me back late morning to say that they would be here within a couple of hours. That matched. so great. At 3 PM when they were still not here, I called. Guess what?! We are not coming today! Seriously? I planned my entire day around this. Not good at all!

Where other left Companies left a mother and 3 small children in an unsafe house, Foster Electric was than immediately to correct the problem. A true example of professionalism, kindness and community. You cannot go wrong by contacting this wonderful Business.

I think Nick is mistaken. I worked for Mr. Foster for many years and had to leave his fine company after my wife's job was relocated. He treats his people better than anyone I have ever worked for and all his people will tell you so. He respects you as a person as well. My wages and benefits were better than my last job and comparably better than most other electrical companies.

I was sad to see this post, but understand every company has to fire bad employees now and then, and the employee gets disgruntled. I can assure you this company is one of the best in town to work for.

Terrific company! We are a community with 460 homes, and we call Foster for all of our needs. They are quick to respond to emergencies, diagnose problems, and make repairs professionally and correctly with ease. We have worked with several companies locally, and chose Foster for the above reasons, combined with competitive pricing. They are terrific!

These guys weren't the absolute worst contractors but it did take them about 5 trips in to get the job done (new panel, $2500). We failed our inspection twice and finally passed on the third try. What should've been 1-2 days of work went on for about 6 weeks of back and forth. I got stood up once, canceled on two more times, etc. But eventually it was all done even though I've got to patch some holes they left behind. As long as the new electrical panel works and doesn't burn the house down I'm fine with all the hassle but I wouldn't necessarily recommend them.

I purchased a coupon on Angie's List for one hour of electrical work from Foster's Electric. I made an appointment more than one week in advance and agreed to be home from 2-4 pm on Sep 2. At 4 pm no one had showed so I called Fosters Electric and my call was forwarded to the Service manager, Noel DeLuna. I left a message on his voicemail asking for information concerning my appointment.

He called back ten min later and said he didn't know what the problem was but thought one of his vans must have broken down. He promised to call back. I waited almost an hour and called back. The administrative assistant that answered the call said she had no idea what was going on and provided the cell number for Noel but added he was in a meeting.

I called the number she provided and the first two times the phone rang and then was disconnected. On the third call Noel answered and I asked him what he had found out concerning the van and my appointment. He said he didn't know who was on the appointment list for the van and that it wasn't his fault the van broke down. I agreed with him it wasn't his fault the van had broken down but common courtesy and respect for other's time would warrant Foster Electric Corp call and let the customer know the appointment would not be honored.

He countered with "Well what did you expect when you use a coupon and get the service for half price?" I countered with the fact that coupons are a way for a business to expand their clientele and set themselves up for follow-on work and added that if Foster Electric Corp didn't want to do the work for the 50% off they shouldn't offer a coupon. Customers who pay with or without a coupon deserve the same respect and courtesy.

He said I shouldn't be upset and get angry with them because it wasn't their fault. I again explained I was not upset for the van breaking down but the fact Foster Electric Corp didn't have the decency to call and let me know they wouldn't be able to do the electric work as scheduled and that I would have to reschedule. I even recommended that in the future should this occur again they have the administrative assistant call the customers and let them know.

I asked for a refund for the coupon because I did not feel comfortable having Foster's Electric Corp complete the work and I did not approve of the disrespectful behavior. Noel promised to have someone reimburse the cost of the coupon tomorrow. About 15 min later Noel called back and offered to reschedule the appointment and refund the coupon.

I was actually offended by this because if he felt I wasn't worthy of full service as a coupon customer I can't imagine what he felt I deserved as a "free" customer. I politely declined the offer and asked again for a refund for the coupon I had purchased. I have used coupons offered on Angie's List in the past and never had any difficulties and I never felt I was treated any differently than if I had been a full paying customer.

I routinely post positive reviews on Yelp and am saddened that I have to post this negative review but I do not want others to encounter the same experience without warning. I will be using a different electrical company for my needs in the future.

Very very good work. Nice paced, great deals, prices, service, everything! Very popular company so it's hard to get in sometimes, but the quality and safety of it all is very worth it.
