Each door we build comes standard with a solid wood face, offering the grounded beauty of traditional materials. Using specialized technologies, we apply a face that lasts and won't delaminate. At the same time, each exterior door is made with a steel core to offer durability and strength against warping.
Our steel core is the key to the door's guaranteed performance: we warranty our doors against warping for 50 years. Without question, Pivot Door Company offers a product like no other available on the market. We make pivot doors every day of the week. No one else has the same experience and attention to pivot door production as we do.

We purchased a 48 inch mahogany door it is absolutely beautiful craftsmanship is like none other these days apparently I did not read the instructions carefully enough to know how to raise the door sweep on the top I called in and they were so helpful and explaining how to do it as well as sending me a couple new door sweeps just to make sure that it took care of the problem I would buy a door from them in a heartbeat it's a gorgeous door I installed it myself I was a little nervous but it was actually a piece of cake everything is pre-drilled all of the screws and hardware you needed Just an awesome door mechanics and all I get lots of comments on the door how beautiful it is

Updated: 3.5 stars. Door itself 4.5-5 stars. Shipping time 1 star. Service overall 2 stars initially but 4-5 stars end of process. Finally received our "rush" shipping door right before Christmas (14 weeks order to delivery). Door itself is high quality and was reasonably easy for our contractors to stain, install, and seal. Ordering experience: We ordered a pivot door with two sidelights and a transom on September 17 and paid extra for rush shipping.
We had to sign a contract and were told over and over again that our contractor would need to have the space ready to put in the door the moment it arrived or the warranty on the door would be voided (because it can warp and other bad things can happen if it sits in the crate). Given that it was a big project to get the space ready for the new door (not just replacing the current door), we took their estimated ship date and started the project in time to be ready for the door to arrive.
In order to open up the entire front of the house, our contractor had to put in temp walls to close off the space for security (and to keep our house from being open to the elements). Rush shipping was supposed to happen at the 4 1/2 week point (cutting a couple weeks off the delivery time). Note they are still listing this timeframe on their website (despite it being a bold-faced lie).
We're at the 11 1/2 week mark since ordering and about ten since signing off of the drawings and still no door. They have yet to receive the glass for it and every couple of days say that it "might" be in the next shipment. For some reason, their relationship with their glass vendor is so bad that they can't find out where our glass is in the queue or when it might be delivered (the last supposed date was Dec 3 which was missed).
In the meantime, our disabled daughter is being held hostage in our house because she can't use the steps up to the garage and the flat way out is blocked off. Our house is freezing because the temp walls aren't insulated. They did finally refund the rush shipping charge (because let's face it, they haven't even met the standard 7 week shipping timeline listed on their website).
I get there are supply chain issues due to covid, but be honest about it up front. Don't lie about shipping times to get business. Don't insist upon the work being done to get ready for the door if you can't make your timelines. Don't continually string your customers along but telling them it "should be in the next shipment" when it is clearly not.
I would not have even ordered a wood door (that apparently can warp if not installed the moment it arrives) if they hadn't promised the fast shipping. Note that after submitting original review, the company got on top of things and were much better about communication and getting the door out the moment the transom glass got in (for whatever reason, the pieces of glass came in at 3 different times). They shipped Priority Fedex freight which took 5 days (Thursday to Tuesday).

Had a custom door made to spec this year, high quality all around. However, had QC problems that mattered. Specifically they were: 1) they forgot to cut my 2 blind dead bolt holes (cost me more than the credit they gave me to correct), 2) something didn't align in peep hole (dremel fixed it) and 3) jams cut 5/16 too high for their spec (had to cut them).
It's in now and beautiful. I would never pick it up from them again without insisting on a full inspection (crated when I arrived) before leaving. There is now a contractor in Albuquerque who knows how to install these, call Freeman Finest Construction.

I am an interior designer in Southern California and after a loooong 2 years of design and construction on this project, I am extremely pleased with the outcome. This stunning door is the "Pivotal" piece that leaves potential buyers with an expectation of what lies beyond the entry. It is the WOW factor that leaves a great impression on passersby and visitors alike.
I would absolutely recommend this product and this company to anyone. It was a breeze to work with them via phone and email and I'm looking forward to installing one of these beauties in my own home soon. Kudos to PDC.

This company is outstanding. The customer service is impeccable and the product quality is superb. I would absolutely recommend this company for your custom door needs even if you're outside of Colorado. We had a gigantic, custom sized pivot door sent to Oregon and the only part of the process that was difficult was getting the door off the delivery truck. Make sure you have lots of muscle on-site!
