Super Floors Of Alaska

Super Floors came out to do the vinyl in my new apartment before I moved in 3-4 weeks ago. When I got in my new apartment I noticed the seam in the vinyl hadn't been sealed. I called the leasing office and they said "Super Floors will be out tomorrow to fix it." Day 1 no call/no show, Day 2 no call/no show, Day 3 no call/no show. And they were adamant they would be out each of these days and we were promised they would be here on Day 3.

Day 4 I come home to discover that they came and sealed the seam. I don't know what they used as an adhesive but it is not seam sealer. It is something that was clumpy. Now the seam is worse than it was before. I constantly kick it and snag my feet on it. This will ultimately lead to floor chipping at the seam and ruining the flooring and when that day comes you have to pray they still have the same style of flooring or a repair isn't an option, it would have to be a full replacement.

I tried to fix it but had no luck. I even tried running an iron over it with two layers of damp towel to see if they used hot glue but had no luck. Very disappointed with this service. Went to tell friends about my experience and a few of them asked if it was Super Floors that installed my flooring. They obviously have a reputation. I'm very frustrated.

The reason I'm writing this now is because I just snagged my foot on it again and decided to write this review. If you live in Alaska stay away from this substandard craftsmanship and customer service. It's kinda hard to get a picture of but you can see the white line where the seam is. That white line is the under layer of the vinyl showing.

I went in looking for stair treads. As soon as I walked in, a sales lady came up and asked what I was looking for and how she could help me. I told her i wanted treads for my stairs. She said they would be very expensive and would have to be custom made and that I would have better luck elsewhere. So I ordered 100% New Zealand wool stair treads, custom made, from Oak Valley Designs in GA.

They made my stair treads and shipped them to me. The best part is, they didnt try to manage my finances for me. They just sold me what I asked for. I highly recommend people shop online first.

Three years ago we used super floors and they were great. Our most recent experience installing a pretty simple laminate flooring was not so good. The installer did a poor job. And then Laura despite all her efforts couldn't even get another installer in there to fix the job.

They gave us the best service. They also have fabulous floors. Took some samples home over the long weekend to make up our minds. Absolutely recommend this place.

Just finished having the carpet replaced in our home. This was the third time using them. Superfloors was once again fantastic to work with. Super helpful and very prompt when they came out for the free estimate. The prices were very competitive and the selection was awesome. Start to finish we had another amazing experience using Superfloors. Dustin and Kevin did an amazing job.

Very thorough. I have an old banister staircase and they made it look great. They were really great to have in my home making it look great. You can't go wrong using Superfloors.

We worked with Jessie. I called a competitor first and was a given a price quote on flooring we were purchasing for the rest of our house. We did half our house a couple of years prior. The competitor wouldn't negotiate on price and we almost purchased it online and paid ridiculous shipping because it was significantly less expensive. So I called Super Floors.

The quote they gave me was less than the online purchase would have been including shipping and $1 less a square foot than the in town competitor. Bonus was we didn't step foot in the store once! We were able to complete the purchase through email AND they provided free delivery in about 2 weeks! It was the best experience I've ever had purchasing home improvement items. We will definitely be repeat customers.

Very pleased with the service the whole way through. Sales person was wonderful. Estimator knew his stuff and arrived on time & installation was flawless. They were willing and able to work with my unique space and needs.

Positive experience and staff was polite from the beginning of asking for an estimate. they installed over 1k sq ft of carpet in my rental property and cleaned up after themselves. With customer service and professionalism like that, I will be a continuing customer.

Very nice showroom. Love how active they are in the community. They don't lure you in with low prices like the box stores do. Instead they find out what you need and work out a price from there.

It was courteous and great service. Not to mention cheaper and they actually had the tile we needed on hand. Will use them again and recommend them to all of my friends.

I was very happy with the superior customer service and prices that Super Floors of Alaska, LLC., provided me, when working on remodeling the interior of my house. The Owner, Tom Leonard, was a very knowledgeable individual with lots of input on what would be quality products for my house. Upon coming out for a free estimate, he had a fast turn around and was very well priced for the different types of flooring I was looking for and recommended.

When it came around to picking out products for my master bath, I worked with I believe was his daughter, Jessie, and she was wonderful to work with. Her enthusiasm and expertise to help design what my vision was, along with providing her own input as to what layouts and styles would work best in my master bath, was a blessing. I went into this remodel feeling like it was going to be a real headache, but with their superior customer service and knowledgeable staff and expertise.

My project moved flawlessly and was under budget. I will be recommending them to all my family and friends, and I thank them tremendously for making my house, the home of my dreams.

Another Alaska great price gouger. I went to their web page and it has no information or prices on products what so ever. I feel if a company has to hide the prices of their products than there is a great chance of price gouging and shady business deals. I personally will not deal with a company that keeps their prices a secret until you go to them. I want their prices to take me to them not the other way. I do not recommend this company to anybody.
