Services
Installation
Report
We offer cost-effective and professional installation. Our foreman and crew have been with us for over ten years. Modern equipment and an experienced team allow us to minimize time and labor costs. We constantly compare wholesale plant prices. We take pride in using the best methods to install the highest-quality plants in the correct method and location.
Stream Restoration
Report
Streambank erosion is a problem that's rapidly growing in Western North Carolina as population grows in our beautiful mountains. Roads, parking lots, roofs and other impervious (non-absorbing) surfaces shed stormwater into nearby streams, and the rushing water carves soil away from vulnerable streambanks.
Stormwater
Report
Erosion caused by stormwater runoff is destructive to your property and to your neighbors'. It's a serious concern here in the mountains, where so many homes and businesses are built on steep slopes or bordered by streams. Water is increasingly valuable - it costs a lot to water a landscape from a tap.
Stonework
Report
Ambrose Landscapes specializes in attractive outdoor stonework. We have built stone patios for hot tubs, woodland paths, driveway walls, stone water sluices, and more. We also specialize in decorative stone edging, stone fire pits (both modern and Native American), fireplaces, chimneys, walkways, sidewalks, steps, rain gardens, and dry streams.
Garden
Report
April, 2005 -- A beautiful old house with large, established maple trees in a historic section of Asheville had just been remodeled and painted. As often happens, the yard had been used as a parking lot for many months to accommodate the work trucks. The owner wanted the yard to be private yet inviting, so we used colorful azaleas in the front that will top out at 4 feet.

Ambrose landscaping did an excellent job installing a flagstone patio, wall, and water drainage system in our yard. They worked with us to make our vision come to life. After recent floods they returned to help bolster the system and clean out debris from our neighbors yard. Would use them again. Service: Stone masonry

Steve at Ambrose landscapes is one of the few licensed landscapers out there. He helped me understand how rainwater/stormwater could be safely channeled on my property and builds "to die for" stone walls and stone pathways, etc. I would give him three thumbs up, but I only have two thumbs.
