GreenSide Landscapes, LLC was started by Eddie Brown because he recognized a need to bring a professional landscaping company to the Charleston area. A graduate of Appalachian State University and Wingate University in NC, Eddie has over 15 years of business management experience. Since most plants have lost their leaves, you can more easily determine the branches that should be removed.Be careful to ensure that you don't remove buds for next spring's flowers. (Those plants should be pruned in the late spring.) If it does not rain for extended periods, your turf and plants may still need to be watered even while dormant.

The free initial consultation will allow us to understand your vision for your landscape. We will help you determine the best plant material and layout. Based on the complexity, we will provide you with a detailed itemization of our suggestions and / or a 3D plan. Once we agree on the final plan, our professionals can then install and maintain your landscaping.
Fertilization

These extras can really make a difference in the look and feel of your lawn. Both traditional and organic options are available for fertilization. Ryegrass seed is used to overseed the dormant lawn in the fall so that you will have green cover during the winter months. Core aeration loosens compacted soil to increase water and nutrient availability.

Mulch is a simple but important finishing touch that almost every landscape requires. Depending on your landscape and personal taste, we can help you select mulch that meets your needs. Prior to any initial service, a well defined edging of all beds and tree rings and complete weed removal from all beds can be completed.
