2.5 stars. Started good, ended less than pleased. Short answer: make sure you give them very exact measurements and tell them you want those exact measurements, and measure the piece before you leave. Longer review: Our outdoor table is a metal frame with rectangle glass set in but not notched in. To avoid taking the frame in, they provided a large sheet of craft paper to trace the table and they'd cut it to the pattern. Great. Taped the paper securely to the table and traced inside the metal frame, then cut inside that line.
Set the pattern inside the frame and a little 1/16th inch leeway all the way around. Wrote the measurements on the pattern. Gave them the pattern, glass was ready in a few days. Great. Pick up, they load in car, great. Get home and on table.it is too wide by 1/16th of an inch and 1/8th of an inch bigger than the pattern. Contact them to say we need it trimmed down.
They say they made it to the pattern, but bring it in and they'll trim it like I want. Drop it off and they insist they made it to the pattern, and didn't know I wanted cut to specific measurements. Guess I wrote those on there for my own fun. Pick up re-cut glass and again they insist, repeatedly, they cut it to the pattern. That I had fit inside my frame.
They ask if is still doesn't fit can I bend the frame? Cannot and will not. Icing on the cake: They scratched my bumper loading it in the car and hadn't even cleaned the smudges off the glass. Do not recommend unless you have a compelling reason to go to them.

My wife and I had several windows that needed replacing. I did a Google search and up popped Jack Smith glass. My first contact was with Tristan. The process was easy. We set up an appointment. Within a short period of time the estimators came out and a short time later we had the windows installed. We would absolutely recommend them in a heartbeat. Super nice people and competent. That can be difficult to find in this day and age. Nice job Jack Smith glass! Sincerely, Tyler and Jan C

A quality product, but frustrating customer experience. Very, very difficult to coordinate scheduling and installation of shower glass, and further delays due to repeated measurement errors. We made 10+ phone calls over several weeks; virtually all of went unreturned : Apparently staff are not empowered to make scheduling appointments nor have visibility into the calendar themselves, and instead rely on a system of "post-it notes" left behind for someone who doesn't return calls.
When we finally succeeded in scheduling an appointment and had our "install" day, one of the glass pieces was the wrong size. They had to re-order, and. once done, we then began AGAIN the process of trying to schedule an appointment. On the second install attempt, the piece was - yet again - the wrong size. Although the constant screaming and cursing of the install tech was mildly entertaining, it was also unprofessional - seemingly par for the course in working with this company. We continue to wait for our finished product.

Hands down, the most professional, courteous, experienced and knowledgeable glass company locally or otherwise. From initial inquiry to completion of the job, the owner, office staff, and top-notch installation crew were exceedingly understanding and helpful. The installation professional, Russell, was timely and highly skilled. He was able to complete the repairs to our large, heavy sliding door perfectly.
No question or concern was too small. Jack Smith Glass & Sash is most definitely second to none, and we will be hiring them in the future for all our glass needs and would never consider referring our family or friends anywhere else. Thank you, Jack Smith Glass & Sash!

Attempted to hose me to put on a shower door they installed a few ago for over 2k which is around the total cost at the time. Takes the guys 2 hours so they are charging out $500 a hours.per guy. Won't buy anything from these guys ever again. Go to Santa Rosa Glass or B&L as reasonable, won't rob you and courteous.

We had a cracked window pane in one of our bedrooms and needed to get it replaced. It was only a few days to get someone out to get a quote, and two weeks from that, our custom window was ready and installed very quickly and easily. It looks great, I would definitely recommend Jack Smith Glass for any window work needed. Service: Window repair

Horrible service and predatory pricing. We used them for our shower doors a few years ago and recently did again and re-tiled our bathrooms and needed our cleaned up shower doors reinstalled. They balked, didn't want to reinstall the same ones they installed before, would gladly take our money for new ones and updating the hardware although wanted to charge us 2K. which was essentially what our shower doors and previous install was, said if they break the glass which is 3/8's glass so they'd have to intentially break it we'd still have to pay and were completely rude and unprofessional where I will never use them nor recommend them to anyone and will tell all to go to Santa Rosa Glass, B&L glass or most likely any of their competitors who were friendly accomodating, reasonably priced and respectful. Shocked how bad they were and are to a repeat customer. Never again!
