Had Chris come out 10/8/20 to inspect floor flooring zone installed was told floor was under warranty and someone would contact the following week to setup apt left voicemail, texts Emails no response have texts from Chris someone would be out beginning of January to fix we where set up for 1-27-21 to have repaired no one called no one showed up texted Chris 18:57 1-27-21 he texted news to me let me find out today 02-03-21 no one has contacted me left numerous voicemails texted Chris nothing they never call back text email nothing

This place is a joke the owner will not return my calls, texts emails came out in and looked at my floor in oct 2020 almost a year later will not respond at all floor is pulling up and separating owner will not respond at all when he did respond months ago it was always excuses he lost his phone employees out of country suppose to come over twice now to fix no one ever showed no calls texted owner his response need to me and that's it avoid this place the work they did was good just want my floor fixed I understand stuff comes up the reason this place is a joke is the owner will not respond to you and just hopes it will go away but it's not going to

I had Chris Cheney (sales consultant) come out on 10/15/20 to inspect flooring for warranty issue. He promised that someone from the office would contact me the following week to set up an appointment. No one ever contacted me. I've called multiple times and have left several voicemails. My husband spoke with him on 11/13/20 and Chris stated that. someone would be out to repair it within 2 weeks.

No one contacted me. I left a message on Chris, voicemail on 11/16/20 and he replied that he was in a meeting and would return call. He never did. I understand that these are unusual times. But this is unacceptable customer service.

Before you choose this company read the petty and unprofessional responses he leaves for unhappy customers. The owner doesn't wear a mask in the grocery store.

Had our floors refinish. Project from *#%. Horrible service they refuse to return my emails and phone calls. Damaged our walls, new refrigerator, stain all over our white trim. And dust will be cleaning up for months to come. They don't actually don't do the work they use subcontractors. Did not preform the work as stated in the agreement. Need I say more!

Worst company to do business with and if you absolutely must use them make sure you don't pay them upfront. They are dishonest and cannot be trusted. I hired them to repair a baseboard and install new vinyl in my bathroom. I have own my home for almost 20 years, I have done business with many other companis including new flooring for my entire house except the bathrooms, I have replaced my roof very big jobs.

I have always made in a point to pay upfront. Big mistake with this company. They took my money and its been going on two months, they have destroyed my bathroom flooring and damaged my carpet and to top it off they have lied to the BBB stating they have made arrangement with their entire staff to address the problems. Never happened. To this date they have cashed my check in the amount of $923 pennies more than the quote given and the job is still incomplete. Sad!

Since I posted this comment it appear the owners have been stalking me. For one I got a written quote from you and the amount on the check represent that quote. Two the flooring is falling apart. You can see baubles all over. My toilet is never the same since you had two elderlies tore up the flooring. And last I am keeping tabs on all your threatening comments and will hire an attorney very soon. You are a con artist.

Awful communication throughout the whole process and when I try to contact them they have refused to answer me. They took my money and kept delaying the installation time due to bogus reasons.

This company was very professional and incredibly helpful throughout the whole process! Installed great looking hardwoods throughout my home for a great price. The customer service was great and I would definitely hire again.

The Flooring Zone will take your money and never deliver the product. We've been waiting on our upstairs floor to be installed for 5 months. We were originally told by Miles that it would be installed by June 11th. That date came and went with no contact from Miles. After I reached out for an update he told me it'd be July 13th. That date has also passed.

After leaving a negative review on the company's Facebook page the other co-owner, Chris, reached out and told us that he would be taking things over from Miles. He told us we should have never been allowed to sign a contract without all the wood available to install. Chris has stopped returning our calls and even after sending a certified letter has not contacted us.

There is no accountability from anyone in the company. I would strongly advise everyone to avoid this company at all cost. People deserve to be warned about The Flooring Zone's bad business practices.

I'm going to try and be as fair as humanly possible because I also run a small business going on 15 years. I've owned different homes and properties, and worked with many contractors. I will verify that the impression many people get of these folks taking your money up front and dropping off the radar is absolutely true. Chris Cheney is the head sales guy and Co owner.

His wife Tiffany is the office manager and Miles Duchanois is the scheduler. Miles may do some of the work himself, but they hire out all subcontractors who they claim to have been with them for years. My first experience with Chris was on Thumbtack and he was highly responsive online and with an estimate. He was willing to work with my budget and process a contract quickly.

After the contract was paid 50%, Miles takes over and that's where the constant delays and excuses come in. The first delay was for weather (they tell you they cannot do Epoxy Garage floors in lower than 50 degree weather or rain - understandably). After the first delay, they rescheduled and on that very morning, Miles calls to tell me his crew is having van trouble but will be out later.

The afternoon passes and no show. I had to constantly text, call and email with no responses except from Miles. At this point, I'm ready to cancel and they tell me they're going to keep 25% of the total job fee for "restocking". Restock what? This isn't a hardwood floor or tile. It's epoxy, primer and filler. All raw materials that can be returned with ease.

So I called my credit card company to report them and Chase Bank backed me up. They removed the money from Floorong Zone and all of a sudden I got calls and emails from them quickly. I told them when they finished the job to my satisfaction, i would pay in full by check. To their credit, their crew was very nice, courteous and knew what they were doing.

I was ultimately happy with the result and the floor, but the customer service and business ethics are beyond horrible. I would not do business with them again for the same reasons everyone seems to be reporting.

Great company. Excellent service, dependable, honest and fair price. And they show up on time!

I could not be more pleased with the quality and service provided. My installation was difficult because of a 35 year old glued down wooden floor. It took them much longer than anticipated. They hung in and came back the next day to finish up. they did a 5 star job.

Well done ~ This time last week I was looking for flooring for my rental property. I would have never imagined that in less than four days I would have chosen, purchased and have installed a whole house of flooring. I was planning to purchase carpet but had enough left over in my budget for the kitchen, bath and foyer (slate and vinyl). Great valuegreat service! Thanks Tiago. Well done!
