Consistently late to perform services and instead of being apologetic about wasting their customers time, they blame traffic for being 30 minutes late to an hour window appointment. How is traffic my fault? It's called planning ahead. God forbid you have the audacity to complain about your time being wasted that they call you back to say "now I don't like being spoken to that way" are you kidding me?! THEN sending their worker out and instructing them to remove everything regardless of the current contract.
They refused to honor the service contract and show up and take everything away when a strong independent woman actually demands folks show up on time and to perform services that were agreed upon by a contract. This worker who showed up was tall bald and fat and argumentative, coming up to my face, and wouldn't leave when asked until I called 911. What ever happened to, customer service?

I had Laughlin's out originally ten months ago. I purchased the year service and couldn't be happier. It took three trips to find all the entrances the mice had. The service man was diligent and blocked all the entrances. I haven't had a mouse in nine months. I am calling them today to help take care of the mouse infestation at my father's house. I would highly recommend Laughlin's.

Kevin is the absolute best! He is always responsive, informative and helpful. I have never had such great service. I'm so pleased and couldn't thank Laughlin's enough. I completely moved my quarterly care over and I recommend them to everyone I know. Thank you for taking care of my home and making me feel safe and comfortable! Services: Spider extermination, General pest inspection, Ant extermination

Apparently, I signed up for a quarterly service, however, I thought that I had the option to cancel the service before they come out. They called me, left me a message stating they would like to come out and do service. I did not receive the message and so didn't call them and confirm the appointment. But, they decided to come out anyway and do service on my property without my consent and then charges me $135 and wants me to pay.
I don't believe any business should come out unless you get the consent of the owner even if it is under a quarterly service. Even after telling them what happened, they are still wanting me to pay full price. Not a good way to do business and will be losing my business with them.

I had them out yesterday to investigate some scratching I had heard in the attic over the weekend. They were prompt in communicating and returning my call Monday morning. After about 30 seconds in the attic the guy was quick to confirm I didn't have a mouse or squirrel problem and was mostly guessing that it was a bat but he seemed pretty ill equipped to deal with it as he had only done one before by his own admission.
He essentially left with telling me that there was indeed some droppings in my attic, but he couldn't tell how long they'd been there or that there was a problem at all. After doing a little research I can pretty much say there's an issue with Bat's but I'll be doing business elsewhere to remove them. If you have squirrels or mice, they're probably just fine.
The only reason they're not a 1 is because they got back to me promptly and were on time. But given the quality of "inspection" I received I feel like I may as well have used my $100 to as a torch while I crawled around my own attic.

I have been a regular client for 3-4 years now and highly recommend. I had a terrible problem with mice and used other services but they were unable to resolve. Laughlin's was very client focused, empathetic and responsive. They were very engaged, thorough and diligent.and they made recommendations that really helped cleared up our issues. With their help we've been pest free for the last two years.

I heard a mouse in a wall today. The first pest control.place I called said no openings for three weeks. Laughlins was my second call. Although their busy time I asked is there anyway. I just got home from the hospital. The owner was wonderful. They had a serviceman in Woodbury so he said he would speak to him and call me back. I had a callback in 2 minutes.
The servicemsn, Chad was at my house in 2 hours. He was polite, thorough and explained every step of the process. I really can't say enough about the level of service and professional assistance I just received. He left me his card and told me I can call him 24/7. I signed up for their service plan and suggest you do the same. Absolutely 5 star.

I contacted Laughlins originally because we had some trouble with ants inside the house as well as in our yard. The first guy that came out was great. We walked around to the problem areas and made a plan. He talked to me about their maintenance program to help keep the ants at bay, which I signed up for shortly thereafter. He came back a few more times- sprayed the ant piles in the yard, sprayed around the house, and hit the hotspots inside of the house where the ants come in.
Then we get a different person because our original guy left the company, which I understand. People don't stay in the same job forever. But when I told the new guy "Please don't come unless we are home. We have problem areas in the house and I need to be here to let you in." Over and over again I would have to call them back and tell them to come back to my house because they came at a time I wasn't home.
Sometimes they would leave messages on my phone saying a random day or time when they would come by, even though I told him I always needed the same day at the same time. After awhile I was so frustrated that I told them I wanted a different technician, which they agreed to. Now we have a new guy who was kind enough to write down in my account that we only wanted services on days when we were home.
Except I started noticing that they no longer sprayed the piles in the yard. Only around the house and where I asked them to inside. This seemed ok because we hadn't had many ant piles in the yard, so I thought maybe the problem had resolved. The last time the technician came, we had family staying with us so I asked him to only do outside. He only sprayed around the house- not any of the huge ant piles on our walkway in the back yard.
Of course, this is my fault because I didn't tell him we needed attention there. I call to ask them to come back to address it. The person on the phone tells me that the maintenance program only covers spraying around the house! Why on earth would I have paid over $100 per appointment to do something that wouldn't have addressed my main issues anyway? There is way too much inconsistency in their technicians and no one seems to care about actually addressing your problem. Oh, and we still have ants everywhere.
