It has continued to be a family owned and managed business since it's humble beginnings in a small one room office with one installation crew and salesman. Commercial
Report
Recognized as one of the most durable and economical fence materials, chain-link is also the most popular type of commercial and residential fencing. It is available in a standard galvanized finish or a vinyl color coated finish (Black, Brown, or Green).
Residential
Report
There are many reasons why property owners like getting chain link fences to enclose their backyards. For one, they are among the cheapest types of fencing material available, so if budget is an issue there is always this option that you can run to.
Metal
Report
There are many advantages that property owners love about metal fencing. One pro would be that these types of fences are the most cost-efficient there are. They require a pretty low upfront fee compared to other types of fencing materials. Another advantage with metal fences is that they tend to be more durable and therefore, last longer than picket and bamboo fences.
Installation
Report
Fence installation can be a tricky task and you have to be familiar with how they should be done, which usually depends on the type of fencing materials being used.
Aluminum
Report
Before one gets into worrying about how to get the fence installation done, there is something else that needs to be dealt with: what type of fencing materials should be used? There are a lot of different materials to choose from: wood, vinyl or PVC, steel, chain link or aluminum fences.

I have been trying to get my fence repaired for over two months and they don't return calls and they are very dismissive No call back, no nothing. I have been doing business here for years but I won't anymore. I can take my money elsewhere. After trying to contact the company, they no longer wanted any business because of an honest review, instead of trying to resolve the problem. they do great work, when they decide to do it. But time frames are unreasonable. But that's the economy.

Allsteel installed a chain link fence around 4 years ago. The fence is great but I had a problem with a 6 foot gate that was sagging and difficult to open and close. Called them and they came out and came up with a solution. When the guys came out, they were very professionial and answered all my questions. Corrected my gate problem in no time. The men were very nice, courteous and quite helpful. I would highly recommend them. I'm a verified customer.

Tried to get an appointment- filled out appointment request online. Had a guy call me last week- said he would get out Mon-Wed and I said that's fine, just call before hand. Wednesday came- haven't heard anything so I called to check. Was told by the office I would have to call back that number. I told her I didn't have it (I have 20 numbers call a day, I just didn't know what one).

I told her the name and she said she would get him to call me back. Come Friday- still nothing. I called up there- was told the appointment guy was already gone, but he was already 2 weeks out. I told her just forget it. I don't feel like they wanted my business or at least be professional enough to update/care about a future customer.

I was once a customer of All Steel Fences Company and I am not pleased with the outcome of the company Customer Services. Taking advantage of people is not the way to run a business. That is why I pointed out my concern to notify the Owner / Management of the company to do an on site visit, in order to see for himself the botch job, thinking that I'll get some result in this matter at hand.

The process fail me trusting in a tradition company. Being a Retired (20) yrs. Disabled Veteran deployed overseas fighting for our country, then turn around to see a company that's been in business for over (50) plus yrs take advantage over me. In the beginning all line post didn't have concrete poured in the ground surface and the ones with concrete didn't go down further enough and most of them back-filled with dirt instead of concrete, which made the line posts weak, plus I call Mike Dye once I returned back off deployment to have him come by in look at the the botch job. Mike Dye (Salesman) gave me the run around, because he knew that I was only home for a few days before I deploy back overseas again, so every six months I came home this was the process from Mike Dye beating around the bush.

The fence was not install properly from the beginning. I installed / inserted those chain link fence slats after the fact. The two guys you sent out Micki and Chris observed the same. Their words exactly was who done this job, because it's messed up. Even the four feet fence along the driveway didn't have concrete in the surface wholes, plus the four feet fence along the roadway didn't have concrete.

When you sent Chris and Mickie out to survey, they notice, plus snap picture's, video and fix the problem with the (4) Ft fence areas. The (6) ft area wasn't never fix properly. I've spent ($ 4,822.00) for an botch job. This is not the way to treat the residence of Fairfield, Midfield, Hueytown, Lipscomb and Brighton, Alabama surrounding areas. All above mention is unacceptable.

In closing I am requesting All Steel Fence to perform an on the spot correction to finish the unfinished job, by refilling the line post areas with concrete that was already allocated for through payment. This is the rule of thumb, which I believe wasn't performed. In general, holes should be at least 3 feet deep for posts that extend 8 feet or more above ground level. Posts that extend 6 feet above ground level should have at least 2 feet deep. Please assist in this important matter at hand, as of now this is a 1 star testimonial customer review ratings.

I contacted this company in early February (nearly 30 days ago) and they assigned Alex Jones of the Tuscaloosa office to quote my McCalla/Bessemer job of 200 feet of fencing and an automated gate, because our property was on the way home for him. He surveyed the job promptly and then never sent the quote to my email address. I followed up with him each week for THREE weeks with no response. Finally, I contacted the main office to request another estimator and was told that I needed to contact Alex when he returned next week from a conference.

I told them that response was unacceptable, unprofessional, and that I would both never do business with them in the future and would do what I could to discourage others from receiving such poor service.

Very reasonably priced and got the job done quickly. The quote was exactly what I paid and I am very happy with my fence!
