Garden State Fence

2018 built house and Statewide did front fence n gates. Lock on one gate never worked.called and someone came out told us it would be taken care of and never was. Fast Fwd 2021 busy with jobs kids dogs but worried about thefts in area call Statewide to inquire about the lock. Jerry comes out from company and tells us that they never installed the lock (lie) anyway we felt since was 3 years we would pay to get fixed. 5 months and no proper lock fixed, have paid now twice, no further along. Jerry has been less than helpful has never returned calls only responds when i call or threaten legal action on text.

The girl that answers the phone is beyond rude.i have asked to speak with Mandy Manning on multiple occasions. I will never ever use this company or refer anyone.im absolutely flabberghasted at their lack of customer service.

From the initial meeting, to job completion we were very satisfied. Mike Rastiello walked us through every aspect of the job and held all the dates we requested. The installation crew was very professional and punctual. I would certainly recommend them to anyone.

I just had a cedar fence installed by Statewide Fence. The experience was a positive one. Mike R. was very easy to talk to. The installers were pleasant and hardworking. They came a day earlier than scheduled, which was great. The fence and gate install was exactly as promised and looks great. All work areas were cleaned of debris. I would highly recommend Statewide.

Jerry was incredible. They did a great job with the installation. Fence looks beautiful. With all the snow we had. The weight dislodged some of the slats. Was referred to Statewide from word around town. They have a strong reputation and sponsor a lot of the local clubs and events; so figured to give them a shot. The salesperson, Mike gave me a call, set up an appointment; and was timely when he arrived. He gave me a solid recommendation that was perfect, and we drew up a contract. The supplies ended up being back-ordered; but Mike kept me informed through-out and made me feel comfortable.

We ended up doing the install within his estimated window; and the job came out amazing. It's a professional job, and it looks it. I am very happy with it, and would 100% hire them again. I had a few questions after, and Mike was very helpful. Definitely recommend!

I have had a great experience with Statewide. We had our fence installed 9 years ago and it still looks great. Recently when a contractor was taking out a tree, they dropped a huge piece on a fence panel and smashed it to bits. Reached out to Statewide and they quickly responded, replaced the panel and post and made it look like it never happened.

Statewide Fence had a high quality product and great workmanship. The crews worked quickly and in an effective manner. Vlad was great to deal with and he had a drive to get the fence installed. Had a rep come to provide an estimate for a small job on June 5th. Was told I would receive my estimate by the end of day. Understanding that spring/summer is a busy time of year for contractors I waited until today and after hearing nothing I posted to the company FB page. Within an hour the rep called me.spoke ever me, was rude and then hung up on me.

A simple and quick follow-up to me would have been sufficient. I guess.and it seems by the other reviews I read, this company wants nothing to do with small jobs. It's unfortunate. because had I been satisfied I would and always recommend good businesses to everyone. They could have potentially made thousands of dollars in referrals but oh well, their loss.

Our experience with Statewide fence was excellent. Not only were they continuously in contact with us, they were competitively priced and on time. They were also able to accommodate several design changes we requested at the last minute and at no additional cost. The crew that installed the fence was quick and careful with our landscaping. Definitely ask to work with Mike.

Had an awful experience with this company from a customer service standpoint. I had a new fence installed in my backyard, was told the project would take a day or 2 at the most and someone needs to be home to meet the workers in the morning and also to approve the final work. Fine, no problem for a day or two if necessary someone can be home however, the job ended up taking closer to a week with one or two guys showing up for maybe a few hours here and there per day.

I was a little annoyed but willing to accept it however, after a week not one call from anyone at the company to tell us the job would take longer than expected or to check in on the progress. Now here's the part that really annoyed me, because the job was taking so long my wife and I couldn't continue to take time off from work and frankly stopped waiting around for them to show up of course within a few hours of the job being completed I receive a call from someone at the company requesting final payment in a very accusatory manner like I we were avoiding paying them.

I told them because the job took longer than we were told we couldn't continue to stay home and wait, I also told them a check would be in the mail and you will be paid in a few days. The second day after the job was completed I again get another call requesting payment explaining a check was sent I was told that if they do not get paid immediately a lien would be placed on my house by tomorrow. Yes, THREE days after the job was completed I was being threatened with a lien on my house.

I never once told them I wouldn't pay them a check was genuinely on it's way. The workers who came were very nice and worked hard, I don't blame them at all for doing what they're told however not receiving any communication from the company until final payment was due really annoyed me and then on top of that, the threat of a lien made matters worse.

On top of that, someone did have to come back because the door of the fence wouldn't lock due to improper installation. There's plenty of other fence companies for me to take my business and I would not recommend this company to anyone.
