Not a customer and at this point I would never be a customer I've witnessed this company treating the employees unfairly. These employees get treated as if they were slaves. They get talked down to as if they weren't people and to me that is not how a company should treat anyone. Treat others as you would want to get treat is the way things should be.

The company also gets numerous complaints from people they have contracts with and lose them because of their poor work and poor communication. This scam of a company shouldn't even be a company anymore. Thank goodness I've witnessed what I've seen and heard and also read the bad reviews if not I would of been another unhappy customer.

If I could give less of a star I would. This company is very unprofessional they don't know how to treat their employees literally treats them as slaves. They get upset and try to act petty when the employees when they leave for something better. Not just that but they receive numerous complaints from the contracts that they have and this is why they continue to loose contracts so if I were you don't hire them at all they honestly deserve to lose the company or lose all their employees till they learn to work better and act better.

Poor communication and service response. I've used this company for over 7 years and nothing but aggravation. Save yourself time, unanswered calls and money. Go with another pool company. Very disappointed in owner Carlos.

If you read this and still hire this company, then you deserve the worst for your pool. Do not hire them! They do not keep their promises and will certainly let you down

MPT is very professional and great quality service. I've been using MPT for years and never had an issue. I would highly recommend them!

I go to La Fitness every day. This pool is awful first I complained to manager she said it was maintained by this company. I have yet to see any aaction. the same bandaid is floating at the bottom for 5 days. its disgusting fire them.

MPT goes above and beyond to take care of their customers! I have worked with them for several years, on many projects and plan to continue doing so. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for pool service or construction.

We have been using Miami Pool Tech for a little over a month. I have to say that it has been wonderful! The tech is great! He always knocks on my door to let me know he is here and is always happy! The water in my pool always looks to refreshing! Super happy customer!

For the past two months, I've had to harass the office people at Miami Pool to get someone to service my pool. Never mind that not ONE TIME in several years did the tech ever vacuum the pool or clean the filter. I put up with that because I could do it myself and didn't want the hassle of changing pool companies. However, this week, I fired Miami Pools and should have done it years ago.

They tech drove his car over my lawn, broke off three sprinklers at the main connection and then drove over my neighbors yard to get out. Did I hear anything from them? Nope. I called to tell them about it and they offered me a month of free service. Seriously.

Leasing company just began using MPT last week. First visit (6/1) and the tech did not brush pool (algae buildup was already beginning), did not empty skimmer basket or pump filter basket. All he did was net and quick vac and add chemicals. I ended up brushing and vacuuming again myself after his brief visit. Today (6/8) he apparently came by and threw chlorine powder in and left.

Nothing else done. Nothing. Algae is actively growing and leaves are everywhere and he did Nothing. I'll be contacting the leasing company and letting them know that the service from MPT is terrible.

We have used MPT to maintain the pool in our condominium complex. They have done an wonderful job for years. We never have any issues. Always clean and never strong chlorine smell. very responsive and professional.

Unprofessional, dishonest, and poorly managed pool company. Met with Frank about a new pool installation mid July after seeing his work in the Keys. He promised me a quote within a few days of our initial meeting. I had to call his office numerous times and practically BEG for the quote. When I finally did receive the quote weeks later it did not include what we had discussed, so again he promised the correct quote within a few days.

That was August 3 and I am STILL waiting! Frank talks a big game but doesn't follow through on his promises. He is unprofessional and always uses excuses like family emergencies to cover his inability to follow through on his promises. If you are excited about investing in a new pool, look elsewhere! Frank and Pool Tech of Miami are a definite buzz kill! Ps. Zero Stars!

First call 8.12.16 $85 for service call to quote. They asked me to email my address and contact information and they'd be in touch. 8.14.16 Nothing yet called back, they got the email and someone went by my location. I told her no one was ever here. She said alright they would be in touch. 8.18.16 Still no call back so I called and was told someone went to my location and looked at the equipment.

Surprised since we have a 6' wood fence I asked how they got into the yard. She took down my information again and said someone would contact me about the service needed. I think they lied to me and they destroyed my trust in them. How ownership can run a company this way is not understandable.

Miami Pool Tech has been cleaning my pool for many years and they always have a solution to every problem I present to them. The other day my pool got trashed because of my landscaping people that I hired. I called M.P.T. to do an emergency service and they were able to come out the same day and service my pool just in time for my pool party.

I really hate giving bad reviews but sometimes it seems like the only thing that will make a company responsive. During the home buying process my realtor got this company to come out and give us an estimate for installing a drain on the deck as the water was seriously pooling after raining. We came out to meet him at the house but got a phone call shortly that he could not make it due to some kind of emergency.

About five minutes after we left they called back and said he could come. A gentleman who was extremely nice came out and measured the pool deck and told us we would receive an estimate the next day. Next day came. Nothing. Days passed. Nothing. My realtor called to follow-up. They said they would get back to her. Nothing. Now that we own the home I called myself and asked if they ever did the estimate.

They said they cannot not find our measurements and they would have to come back out. Because the gentleman who came out was so nice I decided to give them another opportunity. Perhaps they don't need business because I was told he would call me to schedule an time to come out and this is the third day since and nothing! I explained to them that due to heavy rain, the water was actively on the deck so this would be a great time to see what was happening.

She said she would mark it as urgent. I cannot waste anymore time on this company. It is only fair to note that I cannot comment on the actual work this company does because I have not had the chance to use them.

My husband and I are in the process of buying a house whose pool is in very bad condition. Because we are in the inspection time period, it was very difficult to schedule an agreed upon time with us, our agents, the sellers, and their agents. I stressed this to MPT who gave their word that a technician will be out there between 9am and 10am to inspect the pool.

I paid them in advance, and then we were stood up on our day of inspection. When I called at 10am, I spoke to the receptionist and heard the other office person Maritza whisper to the receptionist "tell her he is sick". I could not believe the audacity. No one called to cancel with us, and they left all these people hanging. After I spoke to two office people, I finally called back again and spoke to Carlos, the owner, who sounded very defeated.

He said we "fell through the cracks", that it was hard to find good help in Miami. I sympathized with him, but was also really annoyed because I doubt he will take the time to talk to his employees about how they could have recovered from this cancellation. In addition, I encourage you to read through Yelp's filtered reviews which also demonstrates a more horrific case of MPT just not showing up.

DO NOT hire this company. My landlord hired Miami Pool Tech to clean and chlorinate our pool. They showed us the confirmation that services had been booked. We work every day from 9-5 so we assumed that the tech had been coming during the week to clean and put in chlorine. After swimming in the pool one day, I contracted a severe case of conjunctivitis (which cost me 3 days of work and $100 in medical bills). Coincidentally- a day later we noticed that our pool was beginning to turn green.

A few days later there were tadpoles swimming around. We treated the pool ourselves, thinking the rain water may have altered the pH. About 4 weeks after we moved in, the pool looked like the Chicago River on St. Patrick's Day. We alerted our landlord, who in turn alerted Miami Pool Tech. They informed us that we were not on their books and they hadn't come out to service the pool at all during the past month (even though we paid them upfront), and that they would get on the job immediately.

We waited patiently for 3 days for them to take action, which they did not. I am fortunate that conjunctivitis was the worst result of their oversight. People have gotten seriously ill and have lost their lives due to bacteria and microbes that thrive in water- especially in Florida's warm climate. This was borderline grossly negligent.

I had a near-bad, turned amazing experience with Miami Pool Tech. Carlos, the owner of the company responded quickly to my 'expressive' email regarding my 'disappointment' with the lack of customer service they provided after being highly recommended, and having referred many friends with pools- to their company.felt like the mistreated promoter! Haha. Carlos replied nicely and quickly and in a day, was out here to repair our pool pump issue- which in turn, relieved me of hearing the kids complain every day about the pool being broken and that they were hot and that they were going to die if they didn't get to swim in our little pool again.oh dear. Thank you Carlos for stepping up and rescuing an otherwise tragic albeit typical "Miami customer service" disaster.

If you want good quality service and unbeatable savings when it relates to pool repairs and water treatment I would recommend Miami Pool Tech. They provided me with excellent quality customer service which I prefer.
