Suncoast Electric, Inc. performs the electrical work and accepts responsibility for same for the entire project as outlined in each individual contract and accompanying electrical plans and specifications.We are a licensed and bonded electrical contracting business. We provide the labor, materials, and insurance for the electrical work on each project including, but not limited to, power distsribution, lighting, and branch circuit wiring.

Waited a month longer for a permit on electrical that i was told by suncoast electric owner the the permit dept is postponing. When called the permit department they didnt even have a permit on file. The suncoast electric office is a complete mixup. Also, when they send you a technician and u pay them by hour, expect them to do 3 hour job in 9 hours. Owners start to be unresposive. They schedule a job andthen noone shows up or answers calls or texts. This company is a no go for me from this point.

I work at a Radiation Cancer Center in Clearwater and when we lose power we cannot treat. Glenn the tech was outstanding! Glen was here in about a hour after I called and started the repairs. We needed parts and Will the manager not only hunted for the hard to find parts but drove to get them! Lisa in the office was great about helping get updates. Our patients and staff are grateful for their professional and personal care they gave us. Thank you!

Set an appt for 12pm - 2pm time window. Called the day before and day of to confirm their service rep was on track. Service rep called me at 2pm to say he was running behind and would update me within the hour. Hour later service rep calls and says he should be there by 3pm. 3:30pm rolls around and he calls me to say that anything past 4pm is overtime and the company, Suncoast, refused to pay his overtime rate, so we would have to pay the overtime rate if we still wanted him to get the job done. Jerked me around all day only to leave us high and dry on some very urgent work because Suncoast wouldn't pay his overtime. From a service perspective, this is as bad as it gets.

We just bought a home and it required some electrical repairs in attic due to a potential fire hazard. Sun last came right out the next business day, on time and ready to work. And because there are boxes in the garage, Jorge had the extra work of shifting those around. He was extremely gracious about doing so. He did an awesome job and explained everything he was doing every step of the way. I will definitely use them again for any future needs!

Called Suncoast and explained very clearly the work I needed. Was given a price and told it was about 2 hours of work which I knew was about accurate. the 2 hour job turned out to be 6.5 hours because the tech milked the entire day - there were no complications or obstacles for what he needed to do. when I disputed the bill the tech presented me after the work I was told I had to pay for his time to go to the supply house and his lunchtime? but they did at least take that time off after speaking to their office 2.

Scheduled a week out and were to come between 8-11am. At 9:30am I got a call saying they would be closer to the end time of 11am and would call 1/2 in advance to let me know they were on their way. I called at noon because I hadn't heard from them and now they made excuses and said they could be there at 2pm. I wasted my entire day waiting for them.
No respect for my time whatsoever. I called a different company after reading the reviews. They are coming out tomorrow between 8-9am and assured me they would be on time. I got Suncoasts name from Home Depot and I intend on writing a review there so no one else has to waste their time. Read all the reviews before doing biz with Suncoast.

The amount of time that it took was ridiculous (3 days all on different weeks, when they estimated originally it would take one day). And to top it all off, one day they came super super late I'm talking handfuls of hours late and even though they were late their boss refuses to keep them out past work hours so they left before 6pm. Oh yeah and they never turned anything back on so we were sitting there calling multiple times to try and get them to turn around and come back. Eventually they did and they are nice people but terrible electrician.

Installation of wiring for a garbage disposal. I gotta say, I do not think I have ever met a better group of people. All were professional, friendly, polite & respectful! To top it off, a fantastic job with reasonable prices! I will use them in the future for all my electrical needs! I've used Suncoast electric multiple times and they're always the best! Any time I call they send someone straight out and are easy to deal with. An electrician was scheduled to come out at 8 am and we organized our morning around this appointment only for them to not show up. After I called and spoke to the Ops Mgr they send someone out in the afternoon, spent 3 minutes with us to tell us the ceiling fan was broken and charged us $149. They had many opportunities to take care of us as customers and they failed repeatedly.

Will, the operations manager, and Mike, the main technician, are great to work with, very professional, answer phones and respond quickly to questions, and get the job done without any drama. I hired suncoat because my normal electrician did not show up and suncoast was closest to my home. I fired my other electrician and plan to use Suncoast for all future jobs.

Both Will (operation's mgr.) and Mike (technician) were excellent to work with. They were very quick to give me a proposal and started the job almost immediately. I had two other companies give me proposals each wanted to replace my entire electrical panel. Suncoast said it was not necessary and may the repair honestly, effectively and very professionally. I strongly recommend using Suncoast for a fair and honest electrical company!
