So happy to find Pryor Lock, when they make you a key, it works. Even had to hand make a key for a display case, interesting to watch and voila it works, nice to have a spare. Keyed our daughters entire home so one key works all locks, super convenient. Helped with safety ideas too. Communication and customer service are excellent. Hubby went there for a lock issue and was happy with the results and customer service. They are professional and reasonable.

I haven't personally used their services. Though I've heard alot of great things coming from this company; they apparently don't want quality workers even though they always say they're hiring. You see, I get a "you gotta know the owner" vibe here. I have personally walked in a couple times and even filled out their application. For some reason I can't get past the customer service desk to speak to the owner. Veteran, great communication skills, Awesome work ethic. I might be a shade or two too dark I guess. Smh

Very happy with the prompt service I received from Pryor! My locksmith, Mark, was quick to get to me. He worked diligently for almost a half hour, trying everything he could to get my lock-out done until it finally gave way on the last try! A big thank you to Mark and Pryor Safe & Lock. I would highly suggest them to anyone in need of their services!

We had a very old safe that we needed help opening. Larry came in and within 30 minutes, had it open. He was on time, courteous and very professional. Great prices, outstanding customer service and technicians. If I need safe services in the future, I will be sure to ask for Larry! Service: Safe locks

My son locked himself in his room b/c the door knob wouldn't work. I tried every google/youtube trick in the book to no avail. I finally called an hour & a half later at 7:45am on a Tuesday - Larry answered, told me they didn't open until 8:00am but he thought it sounded like an emergency & could come right over before the dispatcher even got in the office.with no additional emergency penalty fee!
As a single mom, I am most grateful. Larry was so nice when he showed up, he got right to work & he was on his way 20 minutes later. Give this guy a raise, Mr. Pryor : You have a great employee!

Larry is the best. He came out to fix the lock on our door. We needed a part that had to be ordered. He fixed the lock enough that it was functional while we waited for the part. He came back as soon as it was in and fully replaced the handle/lock. He even fixed a few other things around that we had issues with. Very friendly, thorough, and a great value.

I tried for two weeks to get the to fix a gun safe. They showed up once and had the wrong lock. Louis said he would go back and figure it out and call me the next day. No response. Two days later I tracked him down. He had not had time to find the correct lock. Originally they said $156 for the lock and dial and $125 per hour for labor and it would be about an hour.
I tracked him down on Friday and he said he would call me back Monday. Monday I tracked him down again and he had not found anything but it would not be $750 to get it fixed. I asked if he had tried the manufacturer to find the key pad. His reply (texts saved) was no but since you have the safe it would be easier for you to contact the manufacturer to try to get it.
Now he had already been here once and had seen the safe. He had the same info I had. How did he come up with the $750 price? It wasn't as easy as he originally thought and he did not want to make the effort. Extremely unprofessional, had to keep trying to get in contact as he did not do what he said, and flat out did not make an effort. No a chance I would trust them with any type of work.
I also asked them to not contact me again and I still got another smart response from them. I finally had to block their number. I contacted other Locksmiths this morning. The MOST expensive one I found was $420. WAY below what they tried to stick me with and they actually will do the work.

Larry was ridiculously good! I told him where my motorcycle was parked and told him I'd be right down. As I came out of the house he already had the locked helmet compartment (with my key in it) of my motorcycle unlocked! Another locksmith spent 30 minutes failing at what it took Larry 30 seconds to accomplish. A1 great guy! Service: Car lockouts

The work at our house was strictly routine. We have several rentals and have had similar work done by others. We're ten minutes from their shop. Be warned--get an estimate up front and shop it around. Their fees are stupid high. $$89.00 driving labor PLUS.95 per mile. $$$120+ just to show up. You wouldn't pay your lawn care crew $89.00 and.95 to come to your house weekly and I can assure you the lawn crew has way more equipment overhead costs. No other locksmith ever ever charged us fees that high. I repeat--get a frim estimate up front then go shopping.

We had the pleasure of Ron coming out to our business to clean two of our safes. The outer safe was a little difficult and took him longer than I think he expected, but he did not give up until he finished the job and made sure it was done the correct way. He was extremely polite and did a fantastic job.

I have a classic Mustang and need some keys made. I bought the keys blanks from a Mustang parts dealer that specializes in original parts. Took them to a locksmith that was recommended and they would not cut the keys with my blanks. Said that they did not know what kind of metal they were and it could damage their equipment and told me no locksmith in town would cut keys with my key blanks. Called Pryor Safe & Lock and they said they would do it. Was done in about 2 minutes and only charged me $4. Great people and customer service. Will us Pryor Safe & Lock for all my locksmith needs in the future.

We were told by neighbors that Pryor does affordable work on old house locks like ours. Part of our lock problem was that it couldn't come out of the door because some parts were jammed, but Pryor does make house calls. While I didn't ask for an estimate up front, I assumed it would be reasonable. The issue was able to be resolved in about two minutes with special locksmith tools, at which point I was informed that the residential minimum was $75. Seeing how shocked I was, the technician then decided on $50.
It was a little weird, and he also made some semi-condescending comments that I don't think he would've made to my husband. I certainly bear some of the responsibility in this situation for not asking for an estimate up front. When I contacted the business about these concerns, they apologized for not providing the price up front and actually said that the residential cost is $89/hr (one hour minimum) plus mileage.
I think that everyone should know about this $50-89 minimum (I guess it depends on who you talk to). As of March 2016, this info was not on their website. In an interesting turn of events, the original issue with the lock was resolved, but in the process, a new issue was created. When we discovered it a few hours later, the technician did come back out and fix it (at no additional charge).

I used Pryor Safe & Lock to open a safe that was about a century old. Both the contact in the office and the service technician who came to the house were very helpful, service-oriented - and they opened the safe with minimal damage. I thought the charges were very reasonable, given the level of expertise needed, as well as the research they did in advance to try to determine the safe manufacturer and age, etc. I was glad I them, and would definitely recommend them.
