Capital City Glass & Screen

Amazing customer service and fast response time. We had glass door break at one of my stores in Tallahassee. I called capital city glass explained the issue and was told someone could come out within an hour. The tech showed up and promptly got the glass replaced at a very reasonable rate. I called another company before calling capital city glass and that company has yet to call me back.

They came to our house to fix a few windows that are very hard to open and to fix the leaking glass shower door they made and installed a few years ago. The man said he needed to order some parts and would return in a week or two to fix the windows and shower door. For two and a half months, I have repeatedly called their office to ask when they would return. Each time I am told "Let me find out and call right back" or "I'll call you tomorrow." I have never received a return call. I can't imagine how they stay in business.

I thought I needed new windows but all I really needed was new glass! My kitchen and dining room windows look brand new-Mike and his coworker did an awesome job.

I went to 2 Home Depot stores, 2 Lowe's Home Improvement stores, 2 Ace Hardware stores, and another company before making my first purchase at Capital City Glass & Screen. I was in severe need of help when I heard of this business. Capital City Glass & Screen not only delivered exactly what I needed, but did it at a fair price. Since then, I've had Capital City Glass & Screen perform two more services for me. It's a pleasure doing business with them.

They installed Beautiful shower doors to match my new tiled shower! Was the perfect touch to add beauty to the tile. Very prompt service, did great job cleaning up after themselves. And the doors are gorgeous! Would definitely use them again.

I wish I could give them 10 stars! When I purchased my home, there were no window screens. Capital Capital Glass & Screen came out and measured my windows and custom made 11 screens. They told me the screens would be ready by a certain date and they ended up being done a day early! After dealing with 3 different companies who never showed up to give a quote, were very rude, or the wait for my screens was 3 weeks, it was very refreshing to do business with Capital City Glass & Screen.

Every person I dealt with from this company was very friendly and professional. I was able to pay over the phone and when I picked my screens up, I had curbside service! They brought them out to my truck so I didn't even have to go inside. I got the screens home and each one fit perfectly, a seamless installation! I highly recommend this business. If I ever need any other glass or screen service I'd definitely call them first.

After Michael caused a broken window they came out 2 days later to place a board. 2 weeks later they came to install new glass and it didn't fit. "Wasn't cut correctly". I asked why the measurement wasn't checked before they came out and I was told the company was right 99 percent of the time. Hoped this was a teaching moment for future orders. Also took my screens for rescreening, when I called to find out the price we decided only to the the damaged ones.

After new glass came in they installed without me taking off work again. A friend who was staying called to tell me he left without fixing 2 other windows that were set to be repaired and without the shutter on the broken window being reinstalled. I called the shop and was told it was a different installer and he didn't know. He went back and did the work.

After I got home the screens were not in the windows so I called and the owner told me since I was trying to save money by not doing all my screens he didn't think I wanted the screens installed because it would have cost me an extra $100.00. I was speechless. Very unprofessional. The workers were very nice, just unorganized. I was surprised by the owners remark. I'm not sure if I would use them again.

What a deal! These guys are great. Beautiful job on my screens & I still cannot believe how cheap they were. I do recommend.

Because I live on a golf course, I'm prone to getting broken windows. Late one Sunday afternoon, it happened yet again. Called several companies that did not answer or just had unreasonable prices. It was going to be very cold that night and with the window being close to where I sleep, simply covering it wasn't going to do. My luck turned around when I called Capital City. Scott, the owner, answered my call and was very friendly plus he had the lowest quote of any of the companies that actually answered the phone.

It only took him about 45 minutes to show up (I live about 20 minutes outside of town) and 20 minutes later it was fixed. So in just over a hour, I was able to get the window replaced and I didn't have to give an arm and a leg to pay for it. I'd definitely recommend Capital City Glass for anyone that needs emergency glass repair or even just regular glass repair around your house. I know I'm going to need Scott's service again and I've already got his number programed into my phone!
