Relief Tiles

North Prairie Tileworks reliefs reflect a variety of styles representative of different sculptors that have produced relief tiles during the 18 year history of North Prairie. Many of our reliefs utilize the tube-lining technique while others utilize the bas-relief technique; whichever is most appropriate for the subject matter.
Glaze Palette

There are over 150 glazes to support the Arts & Crafts designs in the North Prairie Tileworks color palette and over 1,200 glazes in our restoration and color matching library. The wide ranging North Prairie glaze color palette is supported by five different clay bodies and the use of several electric kilns and our cone 10 (2381 degrees Fahrenheit) reduction gas kiln.

Just great! We thoroughly enjoyed working with North Prairie Tileworks in every regard. They are creative, professional, and did things in a timely manner if you consider that everything is done by hand. I know some people on here have had an issue with the timeline, but you have to realize that everything is made individually and to order. We are thrilled with the outcome! Can't recommend them highly enough!
