1 Stop Sod & Landscaping

Buyer Beware! I received two pallets of old sod and did not deserve the attitude I was given when I called with my concerns. I had ordered two pallets of zoysia and much of what I received was dry and yellow. Much of it was hot and decomposing from clearly sitting on the pallet for too long. When I called I was told that my yard is supposed to look like a checkerboard at first and to just keep watering, mow it in two weeks and my yard will be beautiful in 10 weeks.

He also said it was yellow because they spray nitrogen on it. He then told me that I let it sit on the pallet too long to which I let him know I laid the sod the same day it was delivered. He became more condescending and I realized how this was going to end for me. I wish I would have read all of the reviews prior to doing business with 1 Stop Sod.lesson learned.

No courtesy, professionalism and/or respect towards the customer; rudeness at its premium.not gonna continue because is not worth it; NEVER AGAIN WILL I DO BUSINESS HERE AND WILL MAKE SURE TO SPREAD THE WORD!

I bought 3 palettes of a beautiful San Agustin grass, I was very happy and surprised of how green and healthy my grass looks like. Loved it!

The lady in the front was Very Rude and Disrespectful. Worst customer service Ever and the Sod was not even That good. I will never go there again.

Whoever answers the phone there needs to get FIRED. This person was extremely rude and aggressive. I just said no about delivery and this lady went off and yelled. I'm not even considering this business, not for the business itself but for this lady. You just lost one potential client

These reviews are hilarious. Unreasonable expectations. Sod is a living thing they cannot control the grass. Pro tips- Always estimate for more Sod than you need. Water everyday for 4 weeks. Have a fert specialist spray your new sod for web worms. Some sod may not take. They sell grass not plastic. Your yard probably has the same issues that killed the grass in the first place. Poor irrigation, saturation issues, no sun, tree roots, no fertilizer, etc.

Just sad service and addressing concerns is not a strength of theirs. Made me feel like I was an inconvenience for calling! Do not recommend at all

If you are purchasing directly and have it delivered. Beware they will quickly pass off their dried up sod that's been sitting on their lot as freshly cut. Be there to receive and refuse their delivery, the truck driver is quick to unload and drive away. I will never purchase from them again. Attached is sod Nichole claimed was cut and delivered the same day.

I reccomend 1 Stop. Fresh green floratam sod. Quick service. The lady at the front office is the sod queen. She is direct, but knows what she is selling. Both times I got sod, i was very happy. Price is fair and they don't charge a pallet fee.

Please find a different company to purchase your sod from. We ordered 5 pallets for our backyard and they were infested with sod worms. Less than a month after install, the sod was completely ruined. I called to ask if they offer any type of guarantee and they do not. They said I should have known to treat the sod for pests immediately (despite the fact that no one instructed me of that).

When I purchased the sod for my front yard (from a different company), we were told *not* to treat it immediately. If their sod required special care, they should have communicated that during the purchase process. It's been 2 months now and the sod is mostly dead, looks terrible, and we're having to pay a company to come out every other month to treat and revive it. They said it would take at least 2 seasons to look good again. Save your money and look elsewhere!

This place has the best sod at the best price. I ordered six pallets a week in advance, and I got exactly what I ordered. Lush green and 99% moist and weed free. Tip: use an old serrated steak knife to saw through the turf and leave a precise cut at odd shaped areas. I would recommend this business to anyone.

Purchased a pallet of Empire Zoysia on 8/17/18. The sod was cut fresh that morning and was amazing. Solid pieces with no weeds. I ran out at the end of my project (that was no fault of 1 Stop Sod) and purchased some extra St. Augustine grass at Home Depot which was utter garbage by comparison. Purchase from 1 Stop Sod as their product is amazing. Stacy, the rep at 1 Stop Sod, helped me with all my questions and concerns and was a pleasure to talk with.

Bad customer service quoted me a price over the phone went to pick up doubled the price on me. Taking advantage of demand due to rain.

This is honestly the worst pallet of sod I have ever purchased in my life and I'm 47 years old so trust me I bought a lot of sod I would tell you that Home Depot and Lowe's on a Sunday when they're running out has better quality sod. Half of the palate is dead sod the other half is semi green however the problem is it comes off in little pieces because it was put on the palate so terribly it doesn't come off very well bottom line is do yourself a huge favor and do not buy sod from them.

I will also add that it is bone dry supposedly cut the day you get it I find that hard to believe at least 25 to 30% of the palate The Sod pieces were put on upside down who in the world load sod on a pallet upside down Roots facing up so all the sand falls out. this was the worst hundred $140 I ever spent

Holy crap, I just called this place and the woman who answered the phone was so angry and psychotically rude literally the first second she opened her mouth. I've been looking to get my lawn redone, but noooot from here. Do yourselves a favor and get a new receptionist!

Not sure whats up with the reviews but I have personally used them numerous times without any issues. Sometimes the grass has been brown but nothing a little water didn't take care of in 3 weeks. They have never failed me anyway, and as long as that is a fact, I will continue to go to 1 stop.

We bought a pallet of Bahia sod that supposedly was freshly cut the same day. However, when we got it home and tried to unload it, most of it fell apart. Plus, it was full of ants and that was a VERY unpleasant experience. And my husband waited for over two hours for sod that was promised "right after lunch time." There are many other sod companies in the area which is good since we will never use this one again!

Called to get a quote on new sod installation and they wanted to charge $65 for that service. No thanks. I have other companies coming out to quote for free. On the good side, there is a lot of good information on their website.

Dishonest. Called to get a quote on install. Frank there was clear cost to remove and install $170 per palette. I told him I was interested and wanted a him to measure as the price was great. He came out measured, I told him Id give him payment right then. He asked to come inside the house to do his estimate. I said sure but didn't know why as I already knew I wanted the sod installed and just offered him the check.

Once in the house, he began adding adding costs, it ended up over $500 per palette installed. and most of the areas had no sod so there was no removal for over half. Once I asked Frank how the price more than doubled.he just smiled (while sitting at my kitchen table) and said he'd be happy to leave once I paid him his $65.00 measuring fee. A fee he never mentioned. I paid him and told him he taught me a valuable lesson. I hope you learn from my lesson too. Chris I from Orlando

I am dumb when it comes to lawns, sod, and anything that grows. I called these guys at 1StopSod and they stepped me through what I needed to do. How I needed to do it. What I needed to consider when selecting new sod etc. Stacy was very gracious all 99 times I called with more dumb questions. Even when they were busy they called me back promptly. Steve came out and installed 7 pallets of Zoysia like a pro (well he is). My yard has never looked so amazing. Great service, great price, great work, oh and they did it on time! Hard to find these days. I highly recommend.
