Urban Prairie Landesign

Very pleased in our experience with UPL! Bobby and Dylan are very organized, creative, smart landscape designers and we made the right call waiting it out to get on their schedule. They designed a backyard pool and landscape for us, and we will continue to use them for future landscape needs. We've also been impressed with their follow-through on questions or issues along the way. Fair pricing and excellent quality!

Bobby and team were fantastic! Very responsive and easy to work with. Bobby came out to home to assess the patio project and created a fair proposal. Project was completed on time, with a very attentive crew. I would highly recommend UPL.

We really struggled with Urban Prairie. Good design but bad service. They were upset we couldn't keep some sod watered and didn't understand it was because they were the ones that cut our sprinkler line, which took them 3 months to repair. We had a weeping beech die in June and they told us they couldn't replace it until the following Spring because it was sold out.

I went to Mulhall's and found it for $125. They said they didn't buy from there (this is after we paid them $23,000). So I paid to replace it. The picture below of the white pine was the second time they replaced this tree. They told us it would "grow in" to match the other trees - hahaha. That was it, they never followed up again. We have given up on Urban Prairie and are paying another landscaper to replace it.

Urban Prairie Landesign has been our landscaping specialist since 2010. They have provided services to our 9 locations, including spring/fall clean up. As well as overseeing and maintaining all of our landscaping needs. The services we have received have been excellent and we would recommend them!

We have been working Urban Prairie since its inception and Bobby Monzingo since 2000. They have done an incredible job designing an overall landscape plan that we have implemented over a number of years. Bobby has been great to work with and with the addition of Christine Karloff who now manages the maintenance crew all of their services continue to be first class. We just had our Spring clean-up and walk through last week and Christine was back to us in a day with pans we requested to rework our front entry beds. Great job as always.

We are so happy we found Urban Prairie. When preparing to install a pool 2years ago we had many concerns about location, flow etc. Our contractor recommended Bobby at Urban Prairie. He was not only able to find creative solutions to all our concerns but, prevent problems we hadn't foreseen. His crew did an amazing and efficient install and we have a whole new living space.

Since the install they have stayed in contact to make sure all is well and Christine does an wonderful job maintaining and tweaking to make sure it stays beautiful and functional!

I've used Urban Prairie since our new home was completed in May 2016. From the beginning, I've had a great experience working with Bobby. That experience has involved designing a master landscaping plan for our home, implementing the plan, and then maintenance to keep the landscaping looking great. Bobby and the employees at Urban Prairie have been amazing to work with.

They are easy to get a hold of. They provide accurate estimates for landscaping and for maintenance. Their quality of work is second to none. I have no reservations at all about recommending Urban Prairie to all family and friends that have landscaping needs!

We were fortunate to collaborate with Jeffrey Mink on the landscape plans for the house we were building 20 years ago. We have a beautiful landscape now with multiple trees and flowering bushes. The courtyard that he planned is a joy today. In all of the projects we've done with him and Urban Prairie, we've been impressed with the excellent work detail and design elements. We, also, must give a 'shout out' to the crew.

They are polite, professional and work very hard. We continue to contract with Jeffrey and Urban Prairie for seasonal clean up, maintenance and multiple projects Our expectations are met beyond our imagination.

Craig and I are very happy with Urban Prairie. We have been working with Jeffrey Mink for about 20 years. He is very innovative, has excellent vision and can't imagine doing any of these projects without him. Jeffrey is very patient by taking his time explaining everything. He has become a good friend over all these years. His projects include designing a beautiful deck and patio overlooking our lake, our waterfall in backyard, stone walkway to front porch, fire pit in backyard and many bushes and trees in front and back. All deadlines and budgets were met. His workers are always clean and respectful of our property. We will always use Urban Prairie for our spring cleanup.

Had them come out to create a design and provide a quote for a patio w/seating wall and firepit, and never heard back after they visited. Guess a $20k+ job isn't worth their time. Gave my business to someone who actually wanted it. Poor customer service and follow-up
