Dan and his team have always done a great job for us over the 20 years we have had our house. Things come up like rats, snakes, water under the house, termites, spiders, ants in the kitchen and Wine Country Termite and Pest has always done a very professional job and explained the options thoroughly. I'm a real estate broker covering the western portion of Sonoma county, and Dan at Wine Country Pest is my absolute go-to for all pest inspections. Dan is honest, thorough, patient, and professional. Judy, who handles office scheduling, is always courteous and helpful. Great team, my favorites in the biz.my sense from reading some of the surprising negative reviews, is that these reviewers do not understand what a formal pest inspection entails. Pest inspectors check for rot and water damage in addition to pests, so this may have come as a surprise to one reviewer. And, after literally hundreds of pest reports ordered through this firm, i have never had a disputed finding. Dan has worked with numerous contractors in conjunction with property reports, and I have found a good collaborative can-do spirit associated with these consultations.

It is true property owners don't want to hear the news Dan delivers, but his assessments are honest and fair. These are good people, delivering sometimes difficult to hear news. I trust them with all my sales- Pamela Bernier, West County Realty

I agree with several of these reviews. The owner is a hot head! I had a contractor come out after the pest inspection, which I did not order.it was ordered by my agent without asking me. The contractor came out and disputed everything this guy put in his report. Dan used his poker and poked right next to a nail in our bathroom window frame causing a big hole that now needs to be filled in! I would never use this guy if I had the choice. He was forced on me.

The owner is hot headed when you have simple questions on the report. I don't recommend him.

Dan made huge accusations discrediting my property to buyers that had no relation to pests. He was hired to perform a pest report, instead he incorporated many items that don't pertain to pests. He over reached on his report that caused a stigma on my property and tainted buyers. He does not hold the proper qualifications or licenses to be making such assessments, comments or recommendations in regards to the building structure.

In an attempt to conduct a civil conversation in regards to his assessment of my home, he became extremely defensive and escalated himself to the point that he hung up on me during mid sentence. He had no intention to reasonably discuss or work on the significant issues at hand. He also quotes service work to drill imto concrete walkways, patios & etc. for $1200.

The State of California Contractors Board states that anyone performing services exceeding $500 must hold a valid contractors license. This company does not have a contractor license. I would be extremely cautious working with this company.

Very professional and thorough. He has performed three inspections for us and we are confident in his findings. He works hard, does not shortcut his inspections and looks in every possible nook and cranny and explains his findings. He has a lot of experience to fall back on too. Highly recommend him.
