Quality Roofing Services Inc. was founded in 1970 by Danny R. Young with nothing more than a pickup truck, a ladder and a few tools. Since then, Quality Roofing has evolved into a successful family owned business that employs up to 75 people depending on the time of the year. We maintain a 30,000 square foot warehouse in West Haven and fleet of 40 vehicles to best serve our clients and their roofing projects.

Quality Roofing Services Inc and Danny Young have been excellent to work with. At Parmelee Farm in Killingworth, we had a large pavilion that was in need of a new metal roof to replace an old and leaking one. They came out, gave us different options to select from and after what we decided on ( Standing seam roof), they worked up an estimate. We gave them the approval to start the job, but had to delay the start date because of a conflict with our schedule.

They were willing to work with us by delaying the work to begin. Once they started, they completed the job in the time they had stated originally. They did an excellent and very professional job on time and they did it for the price they quoted. I highly recommend them for anyone needing a metal roof.

So when they were doing business as Connecticut Roofcrafters, I hired Michael Young to reroof my home. The job was done professionally and I have no complaints about that. But.the reason for the low rating is because he still owes me for something I paid for. The job was completed in the fall of 2012. I paid for an enhanced lifetime roof warranty but have yet to receive any official paperwork on it after many phone calls and emails. Also, a protective cap on the stack vent was to be replaced because it was accidentally discarded, and I have yet to see a replacement.

It took 3 months for him to send someone to fix my microwave because debris fell down the vent opening on the roof and jammed the microwave fan. I recently filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and he does not return their calls and letters either. They are going to re-rate this business or suspend them from membership. What does that tell you?
