Surprised to see any poor reviews of Goggin Energy. They did fantastic work on two of our heat pumps and serviced some issues in a very timely manner. The technicians were patient and really helpful and Greg was super friendly by phone the few times he came out to our Munjoy Hill property. A really fantastic company and the best I've worked with to service and install heat pumps.

We recently had a heat pump installed by Goggin Energy. We are extremely pleased with the installation and the responsiveness of the entire team who worked with us! Every employee was focused on providing excellent customer service. We confirmed our installation date a few months prior and it happened on time, in spite of the heavy work load all of these companies are experiencing after the COVID lull in the spring and subsequent surge of work this fall!
The technician who came to our home was extremely careful to follow the COVID-19 protocols, which we truly appreciated. He was very skilled and completed the job in record time. Goggin suggested installing a whole-house surge protector which we would not have known about otherwise. Their electrician was fantastic! We know that so many companies are overwhelmed with work right now, so Goggin's excellent communication, customer service, and integrity are doubly impressive! Five stars and two thumbs up! In June 2015, our Heat Pump was installed. Multiple times since that time, the coolant needed to be added. As new Heat Pump users, we didn't realize that the coolant was leaking and this shouldn't have happened. Finally in 2019, a leak was found and repaired. However, the unit stopped working a few months later. The installation of this unit was improperly done and Goggin Energy is unwilling to admit their mistake or run new lines between the inside and outside units, without charging us a hefty fee. The unit is under warranty until 2027, but this doesn't cover the installation or lines.

Goggin Energy has been a great company to do business with! They just completed heat pump installation in our old (1907) house, which included a needed upgrade of our electric panel. Nothing is easy on an old house - but these guys were amazing and so pleasant to work with, literally every single person on the job. Big shout out to Ray who led installation and stayed until 6 on the Friday of a holiday weekend to make sure we were all set. Highly recommend!

We have contracted with Goggin Energy twice over the past several years. the first time was to insulate our home and the second was to install heat pumps. It is without reservation that we give them a five star rating. They were professional every step of the way from the initial inspection-price quote to the follow through after the work was performed. Goggin Energy took the time to do the job well (with no rushing through so that they could get on with their next job); courteous; efficient; thorough; and reasonably priced (after getting quotes from other providers). We built a new home near Willard Beach in South Portland. The objective was to construct a very energy efficient home utilizing heat pumps powered by electricity from a 32 panel solar array. We wanted to achieve a net-zero house. Goggin designed the HVAC system and performed all aspects of the install. The same holds true for the solar component. We were and remain very pleased with the Goggin team's participation in our project, and highly recommend Goggin Energy to others seeking energy assistance.

We had Goggin install a heat pump at our house. Everyone we dealt with at Goggin was professional and friendly. We are very pleased with the work that was done and the performance of the heat pump (Mitsubishi). We got a bid from another company named after a tree that was close to a $1k more for the exact same model heat pump. The only negative of the process was the heat pump was not installed during the initial time frame quoted due a host of COVID related delays. I would recommend Goggin without hesitation.

After getting multiple bids to install heat pumps and a heat-pump water heater, we chose Goggin because they were by far the most knowledgeable about the technology and transparent about pricing. They worked with us to price out many different options and find a solution that was within our budget. We could not be happier. The complex installation stayed on schedule and they were communicative every step of the way. The new heat pumps and water heater work like a dream, even in the very cold temps! Best of all, we genuinely enjoyed interacting with all the Goggin employees.

Buyer beware! Goggin installed a heat pump in my home summer 2016. They promised reliability and efficiency - I got neither. The product they installed was defective, breaking down every other day for 3 months. They were at a loss how to fix it and would not replace it. They finally got it running but now it costs more to run than my old oil furnace!
Contract requires mediation to resolve dispute, which costs more than the heat pump condenser is worth. Take my advice and stay away from Goggin energy! Worst business experience of my life, and I have been a building contractor for 35 years.
