Overhead Door

I just had a great experience with Overhead Door. They were able to come quickly and give me a very honest assessment of the issue and present a reasonable path forward. I won't hesitate to call them again. Also, I appreciated that the original technician who looked at my unique issue referred me to Senior Tech Stan Tate-I respected the original tech's honest assessment that a more experienced tech should weigh in, and Stan was awesome in explaining everything to me.

Amazing! Technician was running late due to a larger job ahead of ours. Got to our house and diagnosed things really quickly, fixed it in less than an hour. My wife and I felt bad because he then had to turn around and drive another 45 minutes away due to an emergency call at 9:30 at night. Highly recommend and will always use for any garage door needs!

Overall I had a very good experience with using this company. I was able to book an appt on a Friday for the following Monday. The technician that came to my home was very nice, knowledgeable & was able to resolve the issue. I gave 4 stars because the tech was a few hours behind schedule & no one contacted me to notify me he was going to be late. Other than that, great service & I would recommend their business.

I am so disappointed with my visit. While scheduling was good and the tech arrived in the window, the pricing was sketchy at best. The price of one spring replaced was multiple hundred dollars. Ridiculous. It was like the threat of a return visit for a working part pushed me to spend more than I needed to. $100 more if I replace both springs. If I have to come back it will be another several hundred dollars.

The prices felt like just want he wanted to tell me. Said they were standard but there was no for with prices, website or tablet with app that showed me any "standard prices". Also, offered a part to fix where the door connected to the opener arm. Then when he brought it from the truck told me it would be $50 for a part that looked to be $20 retail at best. Yep way more than I wanted to spend for 2 springs. Next, my garage door is screaming when it opens and shuts much louder than before it was touched. Lastly, one spring of the 2 replaced, looks twisted and cranked when compressed while the other looks straight.

I have filled out 2 surveys. UPDATE- manager called. Sent a tech back out to adjust door. Tech was very nice. Manger said they should have offer to show me the standard pricing they carry with them. Also offered to help me feel like I did not overpay. I declined and just thanked him for calling me. I feel better about this company now.

Casey showed up after normal business hours to fix out door that had come off of the track due to an issue with a bolt coming off. He was efficient, friendly and honest. To be honest, he could have told me I needed a whole new door and I would have spent the money. I appreciate him not trying to give me the hard sell and fixed the issue with minimal time. I also appreciated that he was concerned with safety when on the ladder, parking and wearing gloves.

I was pleased to speak directly with a human being when I called the phone number. Same-day appointments were not available when I called just before noon, but my request ticket was flagged as a priority due to my car being trapped in the garage. I received a call about an hour later to offer me an appointment window that afternoon, and Stan the tech called me awhile later to let me know he was en route. Stan was courteous and efficient and had my garage door repaired and working in short order once I approved his quote. easy payment via credit card with an email receipt. Recommended, would hire again.

One of the springs/coils on my garage snapped. I attempted to fix it myself based on using a few YouTube clips. The situation only got worse and, at times, dangerous. My wife, after two days of letting me try it myself, finally convinced me to call a professional. I hesitated because my neighbor paid a tremendous amount to get the same issue fixed.

I called Overhead Door and they came out early the next day (a Saturday) and fixed everything within 30 minutes and charged me $400 less than what my neighbor paid to fix his. The technician was not arrogant and very friendly. He was kind enough to even make me feel better about what I did accomplish and he did not "upsale" me on anything. In 2022, this type of efficiency and kindness is extremely rare. I will definitely turn to them first for any future issues.

My Home Warranty company had sent out a different company that then disappeared and didn't follow through. I very easily scheduled an appointment with Overhead Door - They we're on time, courteous, professional and actually taught me a few things about my garage door to keep it running smoothly - I will never use a different company. Overhead Door Company of Atlanta is consistent, high quality and fairly priced.

I have used this company for many years. From original install in early 2003 to just recently. My service calls are few and far between due to the quality of Overhead Door products. The response is immediate, courteous, and informative. The repair is done right the first time! You the customer are important to them. Highly recommend.

We've been using Overhead Door now for a number of years and they have been a solidly good and reliable company for us. Just used them again last week during the holidays for an emergency problem with the garage door. They booked us for the next day and the problem was diagnosed and solved. The technician was skilled and well spoken and did a wonderful job for us. Good company!

Garage door starting limping, then this morning was unable to walk at all. Called Overhead door about noon, and Gary Nash showed up about 5:00. Had me up and running in about an hour. Was very knowledgable and courteous.

Ordered a door and a new opener from them on Aug 17, 2016. The door arrived at their facility on Sep 16 (Fri). I had made arrangements for them to do the install on Sep 23 (Fri). I got a phone call from them on Sep 22 (Thu) to let me know they were on track to do the install the next day, and that I would get a call from the Installer when they were on their way.

James Rodgers with Overhead Door Company of Atlanta is awesome! Thank you James. In less than a minute he spotted the problem and then fixed it very fast! Super nice gentleman with a great sense of humor.

Having just pulled in to my garage, I heard an awful bang and found that the garage door spring had broken. With the car in the garage and no way to get the door back up, I felt lost. I called Overhead Door (it was Sunday evening) and talked to an actual person who set up an appointment for a service call the next morning between 8 am and noon.

My garage door was not working properly which I did not discover until close to 4:00 in the afternoon. I was put on the scheduled between 4 and 8:00 pm which I was so thankful. Joe called closed to 8 and said he would be at my home within 30 minutes and he was.

Really appreciate Mr. Joseph Keim, for his patience to communicate with me on paper & pen to write back & forth due me being deaf. Good to see them to work as professional not like others to hurry working to mess up & end up not working right.

Excellent customer service from my initial telephone call ( believe I spoke to the business manager) to the assessment of my issue (technician - Matthew) through the completion of the work (technician - Devan).

Everything was excellent. From your salesman, Winfield to the installer. I LOVE my new doors and openers. It is a night and day difference from our old ones. I think I have said to my husband every day since the install I Love the new doors.

Another happy customer. I called at 5pm with an emergency - could not secure my business without repairing an overhead door that a vehicle had backed into. The technician arrived sooner than promised, got the door put back together and charged less than what had I had been told to expect.

We had a great overall experience with OH Door of ATL. The sales person laid out the different options nicely and worked with us to find just the right solution. In addition, once the door arrived, we were able to work with the installation team to get the door delivered a day early so we could paint the trim color to match our house.
