Custom West

Custom West has been fabulous for me. After moving here to Missoula 10 yrs ago, I came across the aggressive house spider/hobo. I have quite the big fear of spiders so I quickly called Custom West. I have used them religiously for the mo the of March thru November every yr and I rarely seem those 8 legged creatures now thanks to them.

I was so impressed with the quality of people at Custom West Pest Control. Trust is an understatement. Keep up the good work Nate and crew!

We had Custom West come out to assess our issue of hobo spiders in the basement and they were not only quick and efficient, but we haven't seen any spiders since their first visit. Both of the professionals they have sent have been very professional, courteous, and friendly, and they set up a custom plan for our budget and needs. We've been using Custom's service since last year. The first time out they not only sprayed for insects and bees, they removed a live hornet nest the size of a soccer ball! Eric Lindauer was our Tech both times.

The pest control guy just left so should be ant-free in 48 hrs. It appeared he did a thorough job and he explained a lot to me about the products used and answered all my questions.

As a residential customer, I can tell you this: While I was trimming my bushes back this summer I noticed a loud buzzing noise in the yard. A closer inspection found that I had a tree that was absolutely filled with bees. I made a call to Custom West Pest Control and they had a technician there the same afternoon.

Prompt response, always comes out in a quickly & timely manner. Friendly and flexible. Always an easy going occurrence when we deal with these guys. Nate (owner) was very knowledgeable and helpful with getting our situation under control.

We have been using Custom West Pest Control for almost a year now. We were looking for a company that could provide a preventative maintenance program on a regular basis, as well as responding to any occurrences that popped up in an efficient manner. We made the first call and they had a technician to us the same day, within one hour.

I've been very disappointed with Custom West on multiple occasions now. We initially called Custom West a couple of months ago after we spotted some mouse droppings in our garage, basement and a couple places throughout the house. On their initial visit, which cost $150, they placed four bait stations and said that they would be calling us back to schedule a follow-up appointment in a month.

They never called back. After almost two months, my wife called to set up the follow-up appointment, which they told us we would not be charged for since they failed to schedule the follow-up themselves At this point, two gentlemen came back out, let us know that we still had "some action" and that there were not the correct or enough bait stations placed during the first visit almost two months ago.

Roughly a week after they stopped by, we were, of course, charged for this visit. When we called to let them know that the office had informed us that we would not be charged for this visit, we were all but called liars. Fast forward another month, and this time they call and give us a fifteen minute heads-up that they were in the area and would be stopping by for our next follow-up.

After this third inspection, over three months after the first, we apparently still had a lot of evidence of mice. This technician did nothing but check the bait stations for evidence of chewing and then left. This cost $45. I literally could have done what he did in five minutes and called the company to let them know myself if mice had chewed on the bait stations.

We won't be continuing business with this company due to their unprofessional scheduling, apparent lack of knowledge about certain infestations and their inability to remotely rid us of our mouse problem. I would avoid Custom West, and assume that any option in Missoula or the surrounding area is better.
