Probuilt Patio Enclosures

4/2020 we went into contract with Probuilt Pool for a pool install. A part of the pool install was an agreement that they would stub for a future slide and possibly tile install. 4/2021 Tile and Slide was installed and Chris the owner told me the cost of tile would be $X (have text showing that) and he told me a couple times $Y for slide. He billed me 4/2022 a year later for these items an amount significantly higher than what I was told on a backdated and unsigned addendum.

I paid him the agreed upon amount for the slide and tile which I have two statements via email that he would accept those payments 4/25/22. I was hesitant to pay for the slide as it is leaking. It has been leaking since install and Chris and his partners have tried fixing but never fully completed. He is demanding money for a product that is not fully functioning.

Now due to sloppy install of the pool slide, his crew back filled my retaining wall the wrong way as to now it is starting to lean forward. The owner who installed the retaining wall even noticed the issue a few months back when he came out on a separate bid. I spoke with him a week ago and confirmed the reason to the wall leaning. Chris agreed to the prices we just spoke about, has my money, and is now going back on his word and will not agree to ZERO out my invoice and come fix the Slide. Probuilt committed to providing me a full use pool and slide.

As the slide is useable and we love it, I would like for the leak to be fixed permanently. They state they stand behind all their work 100%, but yet he seems to not be holding up his end. The tile that was installed I have a statement from the owner on the cost. In regards to the slide he told me one cost and went back on his word. I paid him the amount for the tile that he stated.

I also paid him for the slide that we both agreed upon yet he claims I have not made payment. Any comment about him giving me a year to pay is not my issue as we were waiting for them to send invoices out which took them over a year to do. When we did get invoices he was paid in full on the amount agreed upon in a few days. I have in writing that he agreed to these payments.

I made the mistake of not getting these things in writing as Chris likes to tell you what you want to hear. Get everything in writing from him in a timely manner and make sure everything with your pool is working correctly before paying.

ProBuilt Pool & Patio did our fiberglass built pool construction project. We had a referral from a good friend who spoke highly of their experience with ProBuilt, so we gave them a call. We spoke with Chris (owner) and had a positive conversation to start us off. After the call, Angie showed up at our property with a positive attitude to discuss our project.

All information was up front regarding costs, payment schedules, etc - no high pressure sales stuff (she was great). After that meeting, Chris invited us to his house to see his pool and all equipment options. During our meeting, we mentioned other companies we were considering. He was not offended and asked us who they were. When we told him, he suggested the only one of them he would use if we didn't decide on ProBuilt - amazing that he would recommend a competitor if we didn't choose ProBuilt.

He sent us to a project ProBuilt recently completed, and that customer had nothing but positive things to say about their experience. We signed the contract and once the project started, we encountered some significant complications with the city (Liberty) regarding property and easement issues. Chris worked with us as we worked through those issues, even offering to reimburse us if the project needed to be cancelled due to these issues.

He kept us at the top of the project list, working other jobs past us as we worked through the city issues. Once all issues were resolved we met Dallas, who walked us though all layout and construction aspects of the project including recommendations, & costs involved so their were no surprises (retaining wall, extra concrete, pump equipment automation, etc) - again, outstanding!

Next we met Alex and his crew for the pool excavation. It was determined we needed a small retaining wall, so we met Eddie who completed that piece of the project - great job to all those guys and their crews including clean-up every day! After the pool was set (Chris and Dallas were there to oversee this critical piece of the project), we met Alonzo and his crew who completed all the concrete patio work - these guys are the best.

They were able to blend our new pool patio seamlessly into our existing patio - looks fantastic! Weather and pool equipment suppliers have been challenges this past year for this industry and Chris has consistently communicated in a straightforward manner regarding these issues which we greatly appreciated. I can't say enough about how satisfied we are with Probuilt (professionalism, communication, sense of humor, customer service, etc)! I wish all our experiences with construction work were this positive - simply put, their the best!

I do not know how our project would have been completed without Probuilt. We needed a sizable retaining wall that no one else wanted to tackle. Additionally, whenever we needed something outside the traditional scope of work for a pool project, Chris and team were quick to help find a solution. All in all, very happy with how the pool turned out.

Probuilt Pool & Patio met all of our expectations, and then some. When we started our search for a company to assist us with our pool project, we researched several companies online and asked around for recommendations and Probuilt was one of three companies that we decided to contact. Out of the three, Probuilt was, by far, the most responsive and provided the most detailed, step by step process of what we could expect from start to finish.

They walked us through all available options within our price range and were very transparent about the timeline and what we could expect in the event of weather and other unforeseen changes throughout the project. Chris, Shelley, Dallas, and Aaron were always available to answer any questions we had through each step of the project and they always kept us informed of any changes that might impact the timeline. Probuilt's team and contractors were always very courteous and professional and made themselves available to answer any questions we had and they always ensured the site was clean and tidy after each phase of the project was completed.

We have been nothing but pleased with the Probuilt team and the contractors they selected for concrete, gas, and electricity and would definitely recommend them to anyone that is considering a pool project in the future. We look forward to enjoying our amazing pool this year and based on the quality of the entire project, for many years to come. Thank you Probuilt for making us feel like we were your only customers. We could not have asked for a better company to help us with our project.

The entire team at Probuilt who installed our fiberglass pool was great to work with. Chris and Dallas answered all of our questions up front and through the entire install. They also had great design ideas that were incorporated into the project that we used. Eddie's crew was fantastic on the dig and the retaining wall. They are the best in the business building retaining walls.

It has been mentioned in other reviews that about Alonzo and his crews' concrete work being artwork and it is! Simply amazing! They are meticulous in cleaning up the work area and any dust or rock off the street. We are very happy with the crew that installed the auto cover as well as the folks who hauled away the excess dirt. Excellent job done by the whole team! We definitely recommend Probuilt and would use them again!

I will be the first to admit that I am very particular when it comes to my home. After looking at several pools and getting bids from 2 companies we decided that ProBuilt was who we wanted. I knew from watching Aaron go about his routine of digging and setting the pool that we had made the right choice. His attention to detail was the first thing that got my attention.

I was very appreciative that he never got annoyed by all my questions. The concrete job by team Alonzo was icing on the cake. You might have to pay a bit more for his work but the end result is a finish like I have never seen before. My wife and I highly recommend going with ProBuilt if you're thinking about getting a pool!

When we made the decision to install a pool, we asked many of our friends who they used. One common answer. "We used (blank) but we wouldn't recommend them." Seems everyone had bad experiences and no one wanted to recommended who they used. Fortunately we chose the right pool company. We experienced quality installation, fair pricing and great customer service.

I contacted Chris at ProBuilt the summer of 2020 after moving to the KC area from Southern California. We wanted a pool at our new home and vinyl or concrete had at least a two year wait period to get started. I started doing some research and found ProBuilt online. Chris talked to me for almost an hour answering all my questions about fiberglass pools and invited me to watch a pool being placed that day and to see the one at his own home.

After searching all the fiberglass options (Probuilt works with lots of vendors) we ended up putting a contract in Jan '21 with the intent of the pool being placed by the end of Summer. To no fault of Probuilt, our original pool manufacturer ended up not being able to fulfill our order so the original timeline was pushed back. That's where Chris came through.

He came up with several options and even started searching other available pools in the area. We found one that suited our family needs and within a month our pool was being transported and placed in the ground. In a time when everything is delayed, Chris got us back on track with our goal of getting things completed by end of season. We had the pool delivered mid-September and it was completely done by mid-November (and that included some weather and permit delays).

Everyone we worked with at ProBuilt was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Dallas oversaw our project and answered every question and helped us figure our proper pool placement, concrete options, and overall pool timeline. Alex and his crew were super reliable, showing up daily at 7am ready to go, kept the work area clean and tidy and answered all my questions about the dig and pool details. Alonzo and his concrete crew did amazing work and made the entire pool/patio take shape.

We used DirtWorks to haul our extra dirt and Jay and his team were great guys too. All of you reading this have experienced poor service from a company as a result of COVID.no call-backs, long delays, being kept in the dark on a project, etc. ProBuilt set appropriate expectations from the start, was super responsive and communicative throughout the process, and made sure we were absolutely satisfied with their work no questions asked. We definitely would recommend ProBuilt and would absolutely use them in the future for a sun room, patio, deck, or hot tub needs. Thank you ProBuilt!

From start to finish, we couldn't be happier with our experience with Probuilt. My husband and I went and looked at pools by every other builder in the area and nothing compared to the attention to detail and product that is delivered by and that comes with the Probuilt experience. There is absolutely no question that they are top notch in every aspect. We absolutely love the outdoor oasis they have helped us build and know we will enjoy it for many years to come. ProBuilt was amazing to work with. We called several pool companies when getting bids, and ProBuilt was the only company that explained the process and the price in a way we understood and trusted. During the construction phase, they were quick to respond to our questions and communicated well about next steps. Their staff and contractors were always courteous and professional.

Six months later, the owner is still available when we have questions and never makes us feel like a bother. Outside of the staff, the pool and everything that came with it is quality and beautiful. We have zero complaints about this company and their products. Thank you, ProBuilt!

Investing in a pool is something my husband and I have thought about doing for a long time. We did a lot of research on what type of pool to get and decided on fiberglass. After speaking to a couple of different companies we are very happy we went with Probuilt. Chris and his team were great! There were a couple of hiccups with the electric and the pool opening but this was no fault of Probuilt and Chris made sure it was fixed quickly.

The hole for the pool was dug in January and we were swimming by April! We have had an amazing summer enjoying our pool! Now we are just sad it will have to be closed for the winter soon. Thanks Probuilt!

The owner and the project managers at pro built pools know the pool systems and set ups very well. I was confident they would be trustworthy and knowledgeable before the project even started. I interviewed 5 pool companies maybe more but Chris came out and was honest about pricing and things to look for and know prior to install. Him being so upfront on costs and the job made me choose his company.

Now my kids enjoy the pool and I'm very thankful we decided to do the project. I would recommend pro built pools to anyone looking for an honest and hardworking company. Also I'm sure we will be contacting them to do a fireplace and extended patio.

Its been a wonderful experience. Chris and Shelley are great! Aaron and Dallas and the crews do awesome work. Then Alonzo and the concrete guys come in and cap everything off with their nice concrete work. They were always available to talk to and answer any concerns you had. We had a great experience with Probuilt! From getting all the information before deciding to put in a pool to the day they opened the pool for us--it went so smoothly. Chris and Dallas answered the many questions we had, phone calls we made, and emails we sent. The entire crew was super nice and let us ask any questions we had along the way. Chris is a busy guy but very friendly and personable and always got back to us when he said he would and never made us feel like we were a bother.

He doesn't just feed you information that you want to hear, he is straight forward and honest from start to finish.which is exactly what we wanted when deciding to go through with such a big investment! Dallas was super helpful and is very knowledgable about the entire pool installation process and explained everything that would be happening before it happened which was nice.

The day we opened the pool there was a lot of dried mud on the concrete around the pool from some other workers and they took the time, on top of the work of opening the pool, to get it swept and cleaned up so it would look nice. They not only have great pools but great service as well and they take pride in the work that they do! We would recommend [and have recommended] them to anyone looking to put in a pool!

The worst experience dealing with ANY business. Probuilt took a deposit may 2020 for a patio and deck. I asked if I could have my deposit returned after 4 months. The owner of company was yelling and cursing. He called me a dick an asshole for questioning if they still had my deposit. To even get my deposit I was going to have to pay for their attorney to draw up a cancellation letter. PLEASE AVOID PROBUILT

I setup to get a quote for the first phase of what could have been $20k worth of deck work (this wouldn't have been our first quote). In the world of sales it is the job of the sales rep to communicate. I setup for a 5pm visit. I was a little late. They came and went without calling me, leaving a card in the door. I have no way of knowing if they were 10 minutes early and simply left before 5pm or were 5 minutes late themselves because they didn't call.

I sent an email expressing my displeasure and their response was an insulting form email they didn't even bother to fix the name on from Mr. Jones (my name isn't Jones). The email placed all the blame on me. What kind of company has a pre-written email ready to go placing the blame on not making an appointment on the potential customer? I would not use this company.

They finished building our new patio enclosure and both me and my husband love it. Very polite and hardworking guys. Would recommend.

Chris is a very professional trustworthy individual who holds the highest of standards and integrity with his business. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

We recently hired Probuilt Patio Enclosure to correct another contractors faulty work. We couldn't be more pleased. They came in diagnosed the problem, proposed a solution and made the repairs. We had to vacate the premise to complete the project and when the job took more than the estimated time, they paid the additional nights lodging.

We love our new patio, fireplace and grill island! Chris did a wonderful job of communicating and making sure we were satisfied during each step of the process. They showed up when they were suppose to and let us know if they were not going to.

We hired Chris to do a remodel of a porch and deck. He did an amazing job. Was great to work with. Honest, fair and a person of his word. Everything was completed on budget. It was very easy to work with him and his crews.
