No. A cluster-blank. Too expensive, no details on prices and parts. Just boom, a big unexplained bill. No way I will call back any tradesman when I don't have a ball park of what the hourly rate is. Especially if it's a fluctuating price. State there is a minimum hour requirement per job, for sure that is understandable. But no idea and no break down on a quote for lots of plumbing jobs!
Company is too rich for me. Anyways, the return visit which almost got missed too, was $325 for a simple faucet swap out on a bathroom vanity. No way that is normal? Especially when you talk on your phone loudly the whole time and leave a water puddle on a tiled floor behind you. And mud on the p trap? Huh? Chalked that steep price up as even-steven since the first visit was comped and time was spent to gauge opinion in all the jobs needed down.
That initial visit to diagnose a problem on a new house purchase was immediate arrival and quick answer, he even comped the visit! I tipped the tech for it! Star! This made me call back for more jobs, requesting the same tech. And then it all went haywire. Confusing calls, missed appointment, whacked booking system, owner shows up by system accident and helps not one bit at one point, slow & vague quotes, no parts for any of the jobs on his truck (like he did not want to work this day) and the topper of all.
The tech arrived with mud, not a little mud, but a lot of dried mud all over his boots, up his jeans and even on his elbow. While that was weird alone, when he proceeded to hop into my fiberglass tub with those said boots on. In that moment I knew I would NOT hire this company for anything more. He could have scratched the fiberglass, come on man, you have to know that.
Later cleaning the mess under the vanity, and puddle on the floor, I had to shake my head when I found mud dirt literally on the p trap. How did that transfer even happen? Maybe this is Covid over confidence. Not caring cause business is booming. I dunno. Not taking the chance further. Attention to details lacking.

I found a recommendation for MNS on Nextdoor.com and gave them a try for a small job (maybe? who knows?) replacing an outdoor shut-off water valve. Mark was responsive, on time (actually a few minutes early), professional, worked quickly, gave us some free advice on our water heater, I can see why others recommend this business.

MNS Plumbing responding to my emergency immediately and sent a technician over the weekend to address the leak in my ceiling. Appreciate Dax's relentless search for the source of my problem, which he did discover and resolve. Would recommend MNS Plumbing to anyone in the Valley! Service:Leak investigation and repair

Mark's favorite number is $375. My folks paid $375 to have a toilet installed that they purchased and had shipped to their home. TODAY THEY HAD IT INSTALLED CORRECTLY BY ANOTHER COMPANY! I paid $375 to have my house smoke bombed and his little helper wasn't even in the right room to tell him where the smoke came from. He did not do it again to really figure out what was going on in my house. Beware!

Second time I have used them for my house and now they are my go to plumber for my clients as well (Property Manager). On time, great alerts to know when they are coming, can usually arrive within 24 hours of calling, probably faster if you needed it. Professional, intelligent and efficient. HIGHLY recommend them! Services:Outdoor plumbing system repair, Faucet repair, Plumbing pipe repair

Wae've done business with Dax several times, he is extremely progressional and respectful. He does nice clean work and is super efficient with his time. One of our valves that he replaced was bad and he returned to replace it with no problems. I appreciate the app he uses to communicate when he is on his way and to confirm appointments. I would recommend Dax hands down.

I always appreciate working with Mr. Dax Reed. He has been our plumber for years and has always done a great job. Being a homeowner has its downfalls, but knowing that there are people like Dax out there to help eases the sting quite a bit. It's good to know there are reliable, helpful, and affordable folks still out there.

We had an emergency leak in the attic at 3.30am that was pouring down into the walls and laundry room. We called at 3.45am and someone was out within hours, on a Saturday, the day after Christmas. The issue was explained to me and some other plumbing tips, very helpful to have some insight instead of just hearing the job is done. The issue of the improperly installed and mounted soft water line was fixed. The peace of mind of getting someone to our house when water is pouring out of roof vents was priceless. I would definitely recommend MNS.

We have used Mark several times in the past at our old house. We recently bought a house that had homeowner type repairs. All the sinks were plumbed with flex hose instead of pipe and they weren't draining right as well as the garbage disposal was backwards. Mark came over and repaired all the drains quickly. The wife and I are completely happy. Thank Mark

I have been using this company for my home repairs for over 6 years. They are quality plumbers, responding fast in emergencies, finding creative solutions to unforeseen plumbing repair issues. BUT!. Yesterday they went far beyond any "plumbing service call". It would be too long and irrelevant description of my issue with Home Depot delivery company being totally not cooperative.
I would be stranded with no fridge ( in corona virus times!) for one more week, if it wouldn't be for fast and companionate reaction of my plumber! He overheard my "desperate discussion" over the phone, stepped in and helped! Sometimes we just need a simple human reaction to lift our spirits- they did it for me! Thank you!

We purchased a new kitchen sink and faucet and called MNS Plumbing to remove old and install new sink. Bonnie was pleasant and patient when I scheduled appointment. Mark arrived earlier than expected but this was not a problem. He installed new fixtures in less than an hour and cleaned work area just as he found it. I've used MNS in the past to have a water heater replaced and was extremely satisfied then as I am now with this service. I would not hesitate to use MNS Plumbing again.

MNS does a great job! I've had them do a couple of jobs at my home and have been very pleased! They're knowledgeable, thorough & clean up when done. I've also referred them to a friend when her water heater broke last summer while she was out of town. Mark went out at 6 pm on his birthday! Excellent customer service!

This is the second time I have used MNS. They provided great service at a great price. I literally saved $1200 by having them replace my water heater. Mark is great. He asked water water heater I had, then picked one up before the supply store closed, came over, swapped it out in about an hour. Just Amazing! From now on, I'll only be calling them.

MNS Plumbing is top notch! I called MNS after dealing with a warranty company and a sub standard plumbing company for 8 days when my water heater went out. When the water heater was finally installed by the warranty company, I was left with 4 leaks in the pipe work. Frustrated because the sub standard contractor would not come back out and fix the leaks immediately, I called MNS plumbing.
They gave me a time that same day. They called and asked if they could come earlier than scheduled. This alone put a smile on my face! Mark Pratt showed up. We both looked at the job that HAD been done, and knew the job needed to be redone. Marks price was VERY reasonable to fix the incompetence of the warranty work. Mark found 5 things done wrong which would have cost me another water heater soon down the road.
What made Mark stand out. his professionalism, honesty and knowledge. He even got on the phone and helped me with the warranty company. Ultimately, not a good situation with the warranty company. For MNS Plumbing, Mark Pratt will be the ONLY plumbing company I use from here on out! Thank you very much for cleaning up a botched job and bringing me comfort knowing your work was done right! Don't even think twice If your trying to choose between plumbers. MNS Plumbing is quality. I will be using them again!

Wonderful FAST responses to our issues! Tops in Reliability! Excellent Work for Very Fair Prices!
MNS was referred to us by the Mitigation Company that came to dry out the results of a leak in the house. Mark installed and re-routed a new hot water system by going up through the crawl space. He was very professional and accomplished that in record time.
A couple of weeks later our bathtub faucet generated a leak. Even though we called late in the day, he braved the afternoon traffic from wherever he was to Ahwatukee and fixed the leak! We will always be calling MNS in the future, as this house was built in 1974 and there will certainly be future issues.

Last Friday morning I opened my garage door and found a bubbling spring next to our ironwood tree. It was about 2' x 3', and it was obvious our water main line was leaking. I monitored the rate of the leak by reading our meter, and my wife and I began researching plumbers -- mainly using the Phoenix BBB website. We only considered plumbers with an A+ BBB rating, and preferred plumbers that were BBB accredited.
The company we called was in the process of shutting down for a week's vacation, but they recommended we contact MNS Plumbing. About 130PM we called. The woman from MNS apologized that their technicians were all busy on jobs and said someone would show up at 7AM on Monday morning. Thirty minutes later she called us back and said said for a technician just finished a job, and that he would be at our house soon.
The person who came was perfect, a former US Marine, a hard worker, and very friendly. He worked until dark, digging out the area by hand (during a monsoon rain), he found three large roots about 5" around which pressed the pipe and caused it to crack. He cut out the roots, then had to get parts. He came back, repaired the pipe, and by the time the sun had set, it was fixed.
His work was excellent, his attitude was excellent, his bill was surprisingly fair. We could not have been happier. After moving to the valley six years ago, we finally found a plumbing business we trust.

My renter called and told me there was a plumbing problem underneath his kitchen sink. I guess it's hard to find a good Anthem plumber (I don't live close). Mark came out, found the source of the leak (dishwasher line), and while doing so, his communication with me was great. He made sure I was kept in the loop the whole time --the problem, cost, etc.
His professionalism gave me a lot of confidence, and hes a good guy to talk to. Since he came out right away, the leak was fixed early enough that it didn't do a bunch of damage. And I'm not there to stand over people's shoulders, so I have to be able to trust them to do their job right. According to my renter, and apparently his neighbor who gave him the heads up about MNS Plumbing, Mark is that kind of guy because the job was done right--fast and clean. Plus, I thought his price was very fair, so he'll be doing all my rental property plumbing in the future.

It cannot get better! They did work twice at my house within last two years. First time they were hired by my GC to do the larger portion of plumbing work on my new guest house construction. I was impressed - well priced, reliable and ON TIME, knowledgeable. Guaranteed by my GC. Today the water heater broke squirting water everywhere in my main house.
I called in the panic my GC who forwarded their name again. They picked up the call (!) and their office called with 30 min to schedule the visit.
Mike P. explain the issue on the arrival, work very efficiently, and... I can take a shower now! Love them!

It cost me $80 when I changed my mind about using them to replace my water heater after realizing the amount being charged is way too much compared to ProSkill's quote to replace it. However, with this charge plus cost after tax with the latter, I believe I still save money. Therefore I won't be using MNS in the future and won't be recommending them to friends because of the higher quotes and their "you can't change your mind charge" customer service No-no. Advice to reader of this review, shop around and don't feel pressured to say YES right there and then. Yelp and the web might lead you to a much better alternative.

We recently had MNS Plumbing out to fix our water heater. They did a great job. Friendly, professional and honest. They got the job done quickly, and explained everything they were doing and everything worked great when they were done. I would recommend MNS Plumbing to anyone that needs a good plummer.

If I could rate this business a "0" I would. Steer clear of this business! Here is what happened:
MNS Plumbing/Bonnie,
II spoke with you late yesterday about a service order from my home warranty company to come out and repair/replace a leaking water heater. My home warranty company contacted you because this was an emergency and you stated that you could be at my property by 5pm.
At 5:30pm I contacted you and you stated that you did not receive a work order from First American. I told you I had the work order and provided that to you. You then stated you needed an email but would call the home warranty company. During this call you asked me specific questions about the type of water heater that I had. (electric/gas, size, make/model, warranty).
You told me you would call in the morning after the technicians 8:30am service call. I called you at 8:30am, 9:30am and left messages in which no one returned my call. I then called again at 10:45am (from a different phone line in which you answered the phone) I spoke with you and you said give me 15 minutes and I will call you back. After 45 minutes I called my Home Warranty company where they put me on hold and contacted you.
You told them you did not service water heaters that big. I told the home warranty company it was not 80 gallons but 65 gallons so they called you back for service and then you stated that you do not work on water heaters at all. I had to call my home warranty company back and before they could find me a new contractor they tried to reach you because all of their paperwork on file states that you do indeed service hot water heaters, not surprising you would not take their call or call them back.
This is mind boggling, you did not have the common courtesy of calling me back, telling me that from the beginning? No, you didn't because you do service them and just did not want to take this job. The real disappointment is that you couldn't even tell me that, return a phone call so I could make other arrangements. I now am going on 2 days of no water and flooding. This is egregious and hardly how a company should be run.

The real disappointment is that you couldn't even tell me that, return a phone call so I could make other arrangements. I now am going on 2 days of no water and flooding. This is egregious and hardly how a company should be run.

A family owned business, they offer knowledge and honesty whrn it comes to your plumbing needs. We thought we had a gas leak and MNS checked it three different ways and found that the connection was a litle loose. Helped us trace some pipes that went nowhere and have been a trip hazard for the last decade. A very comfortable company to work with.
