Called to see if he could be of service and as soon as he realized he couldn't help me. He got real rude and said "good luck with that you're gonna need it" then laughed. I just hung up because that was the 3rd rude comment he made

After locking keys and in car called joe he came within minutes of calling him and opened the car within 5 mins thankful that he was able to get the job done In such little time

Super reliable! Helped my husband out after loosing his key today, was able to make us a spare and was done with everything in like 15 minutes if not less.

It was my first time calling. The old timer that answered the phone wad very short and rude and hung up on me. I barely got a word in and I was polite. I do not recommend at all. Better customer service else where im sure. I didn't even get to talk to the person or ask them what I needed so the reply to my review is for another person which means that obviously there's issues with the person that is answering the phone and giving the quotes the reply that they put online is not me nor was I disrespectful nor did I get a price or anything I really think there's something going on with this company so just be fair warned to watch out.

Spoke with Joe today for a lockout, Joe himself answered the line and was rude at hello! I was not able to inquire his services without being interrupted and talked over!

Excellent and fast service. I called and the locksmith was at my house within an hour. I had locked myself out, and he was able to make me a key in no time. It wasn't super expensive either. Especially since I called at 7am on a Saturday.

I called lots of locksmiths and sent pictures but Sir Joe was the only one that understood how to approach replacing the double door lock. Text him once back from atm he was here less than 20 min once he text to let me know he is here or has arrived I showed him the problem and he went STRAIGHT TO WORK. I was playing Call of Duty and before even half of the Hardcore match was over and he was done & asking me to lock it he'll try the key from the outside, worked I paid and my appreciation then we held a long conversation about housing projects, credit, etc. He also recommended locations for other things needed to be done. So I give 3 thumbs up, I borrowed one for Ebert. Dankeschon

Absolutely reliable and honest. I've have him work on all our family's homes and always professional. Today was worn out screws on a metal wrought iron gate. He comes up with a creative solution and an easy to understand description of the problem. This is our go to guy.

Locked out of our master bedroom with no other means to get inside. besides breaking down the door. Called Joe - he was able to come out quickly, open the door with no damage AND fixed our french-doors in the master bedroom leading out to the backyard for the deadbolt had been jammed for a while. High recommend and will keep his number handy!

I am kinda shocked to see that this man has less than a 5 star rating there must be some very stressed out individuals that didn't get their way like children. My gf was in a car accident, we had to get her another car, she lost the pink slip before registering the vehicle and then locked her keys in her car all in less than 24 hours in a string of stressed out rushed mistakes and failing to take a breath and get her composure.

In this entire situation this dude was the lone good thing that happened to us. She got locked out we called him and he was super nice on the phone super nice in person even was humorous to lighten the mood for her and she told me how quickly he got over there and how fast the car was unlocked and she was on her way. Apologies for the delayed review you deserve it.

Yes very professional! It was a Sunday never informed me it was after business hours. When he answered the phone all he said was hello didn't even say the name of his Business and yes I did have an attitude after the fact you were rude for no reason. You chose to do this business shouldn't be rude to customer that hep bring in your income!

Joe was incredibly easy to work with. Extremely nice and very patient with me. I had a sheriff lockout where I had to, unfortunately, Evict a tenant who hadn't paid over a year. A job that should've only taken an hour ended up taking almost three due to a lot of hurdles in the way. I unfortunately didn't have the key to the building Bruce's the locks were switched to different locks and the front door key I had difficulty finding. I'm not a person who likes to make things difficult for other people.

I feel guilty for putting more work on someone than I have to and joe and Joe made it seem perfectly fine and told me not to worry and it happens all the time. Also the AC in the building wasn't working so it was hot and at the end of it he was still smiling and joking with me (if it were me I would be irritated). Not only was he nice and made me feel comfortable, he was also super helpful and educated me on the type of locks put in and recommended better locks for when I renovate the building. Joe just left my house from helping me save a trip my family and I are getting ready to head out on. I first called and he told me what to do which I was surprised about and Thought it was pretty cool. I tried what he said to do and it was working but I have a torn tendon in my arm so I had to give in. I called him back and he was at my house pretty quick. Joe's an older guy and he has a old school get shit done personality and is all about respect.

I like that. He had it off in about 10-15 min. Harden steel hitch lock is not something you want to lose your keys to. But he got it off for me and didn't want to charge me because it was so simple for him. I still paid him for his service, his prompt timing and a pretty cool story he told me. Thanks Joe!

Lmao! Called this person and he immediately started to say he don't come to Georgia bcause my phone number is a phone from ga. I told him I'm in the area and he said he wouldn't go there. Obviously I'm trying to go to you. What a piss poor service! Would not recommend. TRASH

Great service! I called yesterday and Joe was able to come to our home within the hour. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He took apart our front door lock that has been very hard to lock and unlock. Due to his familiarity with the manufacture of our lock he recommended I contact them for a new inner trim instead of purchasing a whole new lock and handle (this will save me a lot of money.

Thank you Joe!). He also made several keys for our doors, changed a deadbolt lock to match the rest of the house as well as serviced all of our deadbolts that were sticking from lack of use. He was at our home for over an hour and was very pleasant. Any reviews that say otherwise must not be actual customers or they called the wrong number. I highly recommend him and will definitely use him again in the future.

Joe was on time and extremely professional. He reminded me of the locksmiths back in the days when businesses were respectable and treated customers as their bread and butter. Joe worked fast and had a great sense of humor. Very affordable compared to others. Highly recommended.

We got one of our locks changed from Joe. On the day he changed the lock he said if anything goes wrong, feel free to call. The VERY next day the lock stopped working. I called Joe to have him fix it and he answered the phone very rudely. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. HE IS VERY RUDE, HAS A BAD ATTITUDE, AND HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. He refuses to fix his work and on top of it charged EXTRA.

Horrible customer service, when I called to inquire about service the person answering the phone seemed annoyed and I wasn't even sure that I had the right company because he didn't answer like a business should and when I asked him if this was the locksmith he replied "you called the number " that was enough for me to move on to someone else, very bad customer service will not recommend this place to my worst enemy

Guy was rude, messed up my truck lock and appears drunk. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. He will show up, overcharge and mess up your locks! He will not come back to repair what he so called fixed or refund your money. Horrible service

Joe did a great job changing the locks at my house and had a couple great suggestions so I don't have to use so many different keys.

Works fast and efficient! Called at 7:30 in the morning left my car on with the keys inside(I know lol) one of those mornings yeah. called and he came within 15 minutes! Thanks joe!

Comment: My family and I were visiting the Sequoias and stopped in Bakersfield to rest and eat on Christmas day. My husband locked the keys in the jeep. I just knew we were going to be stuck for a while. We asked the manager at the restaurant for information regarding towing. I looked through the phone book and found Joe's Lock and Key in the towing section.

He is the BEST and a kind hearted person! Highly recommend his service! If needed I will never call anyone else.

Called around 7:15 to get a quote to have a back door rekeyed. I got a quote and wanted to make sure what the going cost would be. After receiving two additional quotes, I decided to give Joe the job. I've used them in the past and my experience was good. I called Joe back to tell him to come out. Asked him when he was going to be able to come out and he raised his voice to let me know he was in a job and would proceed when he got done.

I asked him if he takes credit cards and he raised his voice and said only if the total job was over $150.00. He sounded edgy and irritable. He asked me to text my address which I did at 7:40. By 8:30, there was no sign of him and I made two calls and no response. I then send another text and asked when he might be getting here. I see that he read the text but no response. At 8:45 I sent another text to let him know I have cancelled this job for him. Disappointing.

I had a great experience using joes lock n key, great service was here within an hour and made an ignition key for my 87 silverado. He was in n out within 30 min with a new key made. Very good quality key works great. Joe and his helper were very nice to do buisness with, very nice guys.

Joe, Thank you for the quick and quality service you provided re-keying our home during our move. We had originally tried to set up service from another locksmith in town off someone's recommendation and it did not pan out. You came minutes after we called and not only did great work but you were also pleasant to talk to.

August 9th 2011. We needed our car unlocked and re-keyed. Joe was here within 10 minutes. He is friendly and had our car unlocked and re-keyed in under 5 minutes and when it was all done in under 15 minutes we had our new keys and our bill. I thought the bill was going to be over $200 BUT it was not. It was very reasonable and I would recommend Joe and his services to anyone at anytime.
